We enjoyed our stay in Vela Terraces! The hotel has their own restaurant that served sumptuous breakfast. There is no need to go out because their restaurant is more than enough, they really have delicious food. Location is ideal because its near town and other stores. Also the staffs are very friendly and accommodating, we were assisted in whatever we need, from airport pick up, drop off, when we need tricycle, or rent a motorbike, or book a tour, they were there and took care of us. We really appreciate their hospitality. We even met the owner of the hotel and they were also friendly. Communication is easy and had a great time.

The stairs are a bit if a challenge but its okay since we need to burn all calories we consumed during our vacation :)

This was the perfect place to stay in Coron! It was within walking distance of the town centre, had its own restaurant with the most yummy breakfast, and the staff was so kind and made sure our entire stay was taken care of - from the cleanliness of the room to airport/tour transfers. There was no other place in Coron we would have stayed.

If you don’t like stairs, you won’t like the walk up to your room if you book pool access rooms. However, the staff are super helpful bringing our bags as we need, so it’s not really a downside unless you don’t like the walk (we didn’t mind!)

The location was on a quiet road close to centre. That was the best part about it. Close to a cafe and rooftop bar. It was mostly clean and wifi worked well if you’re lucky with your room. Most of the staff were helpful and nice. Food here was fine. Not many options hotelwise here anyway so probably one of the best you can find

Expensive, the pool was too small and cramped. Nobody used it. Early checkin not always possible, No coffee or tea inroom, tiny bottles of complimentary water (why not regular size?). Wifi didnt always work, might need different adaptors to use your electronics there

- Not on the main road so it’s relatively less busy outside yet still close to the main road for public transportation. There’s also a Mc Donald’s and a drugstore (open 24/7) very close by - The staff are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Chin - The restaurant serves delicious food and cocktails for a reasonable price - The room we booked was very spacious and comfortable

- There really are quite some stairs to get to your room. We stayed at room 301 and it’s almost at the top floor - There was a smell coming from the bathroom sink (I think when the water in the pipe dries out) - The airconditioning system is pretty old (split type) so it makes a lot of noise and can be challenging to sleep even with ear buds

Hotel is nice, breakfast is very nice with relaxing views. All the staff is very polite. The room was quite spacious, and very comfortable. Generally a relaxing hotel!

The location is so and so. It’s nice that the hotel is a little bit outside of the hustle and bustle. But when you’re tired at night and you have to walk up the hill it seems like forever to go there. All tours pick you up and drop you off at the hotel so that is a plus and also if you rent motorcycles then problem solved! We only had to walk one night up! If location doesn’t bother you I truly recommend you go!

I really liked the location, the staff is super attentive and responsive, there is a restaurant in the hotel. We booked tours, a ferry and a taxi ride to the port, did laundry, ate and had drinks at Velas. They take credit card payments and are very flexible if you want to extend your stay or if you need anything. I highly recommend this place.

The pool area is loud from the ac units and the water pump. The ac in the room is a bit loud but manageable. The bathroom was a little dark and the room could use a chair and a end table lamp for reading. Other than that, very comfortable.

Staff were fantastic. Super helpful.sp friendly, especially the guys who helped move our bags (twice) and Jamie and (I forgot the name I’m so sorry!) Restaurant staff are great too- food is quite expensive but relaxing atmosphere. Great location walkable to town and good views

The kitchen’s water pump was so loud in our room. Stayed on all night we had to ask to make rooms. The air con machines are ALL very loud, unless you’re a great / deep sleeper you can’t sleep with them on (sounds like airplanes taking off). Then it gets too hot to sleep. Frustrating and left feeling very tired.

location was great, close to the centre but just far enough out that it was quiet to sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was spacious for two and clean. Buffet breakfast was also delicious.

The beautiful staff that go above and beyond. Even having my husband's shirt cleaned by conseirge at check in desk. We were booked in on the top level, which was a no go for us being older. And the beautiful receptionist sorted it straight away and moved us to the lowest level. The most comfortable bed Room size great Great price

Unfortunately for us being older, the stairs were a bit of a problem on some days. We were actually booked up on the top floor. But they quickly changed to the lowest which had approx 30 stairs.. Apart from this we loved our stay

Good location, it’s about a 15-20 min walk (depends how fast you walk) to Coron Town. The streets are quieter in this area if that’s what you prefer. !!!Just a heads up!!! The property is called Vela Terraces for a reason. There is no elevator and if placed in any rooms 400 and above there are ALOT of steps to walk up everyday which I didn’t mind (my exercise for the trip and you so you know that if staff not present you will have to lug up your suitcase up these steps yourself). My husband and I only stayed for 2 nights with only backpacks so not a problem for us at all. There’s a restaurant where you can eat and hotel staff can also easily book hotel transfers for you to the airport. Staff are great and all other facilities are good.

My only problem about the room is the shower. Hot water is very temperamental as in it takes a while for the water to heat up but when it does it’s too hot and you spend 30 min trying to get it to the right temperature. Eventually just took a cold shower which is not too bad because of the heat.
