This facility was/is exceptional, a refreshing cut from the usual hotels in the area. The quality of the rooms were felt the minute we entered. That "at home" feeling continued to be felt by us/my family throughout our stay. And the restaurant was superb, my complements to the chef for providing us with excellent gourmet breakfasts that came with the room. This was a great place to stay, safe and secure.

Our concern from the start, was the patio sliding glass door, that had an insecure locking mechanism on the outer slide. When brought to their attention, the staff told us new repair parts were ordered and told us staff walks our area to ensure security. Another concern was the hot water heater in the shower that we did not report until our checkout. Staff told us that a reset at the water source could have resolved this..no worries.

The staff was great as well as the restaurant... incredible food. The location was good, although the GRAB Cab could never find the location for the hotel. You are close to the nigh market, church and parks in walking distance. We found some cute cafes that were not far from hotel. We used the hotel to drive to some of the waterfalls and Philippine Eagle center, so being central with parking was great.

The bathroom was small, and I wish they had wash cloths. Shower leaked on main bathroom floor.

Cucarachas and lots of black outs, but its a normal thing in the philippines, also there is a lot of noise coming from some kind of machine right outside of the room, and construcción noises even though there wasn't any construcción nearby. Last but not list, don't come over to the Philippines on a holiday cause you won't have anything to eat except fast-food.

The family unit (306) was amazing. The staff were so kind to me(something that has been hard to come by), and they even have Netflix ready to go and deliver meals to the room when requested. I will probably come back again sometime.

The breakfast was excellent with many choices. The Room is very spacious with nice lounging chair, desk, and equipped with a very nice big screen HDTV great for watching movies. Room Service and turn down service was excellent and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Nice and secured.

The only problem we had was with the hot water in the shower. It would fluctuate from cold to hot no matter the desired setting but still adequate for a quick shower.

It's a pet friendly place, that alone deserves a million stars rating! We were able to check in with our two shih tzus (we called ahead to confirm) and oof the room is so nice. :)) The bed and pillows are so comfortable. The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean. Appreciate the interior and the super wide screen TV! The breakfast is good :), and on our last day, the staff offered for it to be packed as we had to checkout earlier. No problem with water pressure and heater. Complete toiletries. VERY NICE and FRIENDLY STAFF. :) It's like a home away from home that we decided to stay 2 more nights here haha! will definitely recommend this to our friends and family.

The people were warm, hospitable, and caring. They were responsive and would take several initiatives to make you feel welcome. I also found the noise-insulated room homey, spacious, and well cleaned/maintained. It smelled fresh instead of being old or sterile, and had a personality that you wouldn't often get from usual hotels. It is conveniently located near urban hot spots in Davao, and for those preferring a work-at-home set-up, food deliveries are accessible with a wide food option. There's also Bondi & Bourke, a casual restaurant nearby, which provides the delicious complementary breakfast. The internet speeds was fairly okay throughout my stay, with a few hiccups in between. In terms of security, it is cuddled in a compound with security personnel. It's also accessible for persons with disability, though the elevator might be narrow for those using bulky wheelchairs. Great showers, with most hygiene items available for free, and a wide working desk which was my favorite. Definitely my go-to stay in Davao!

There were times wherein the front desk was unmanned, usually during late evenings. The elevator was also quite old, and during my last day, actually needed new lighting (though was still functional). The breakfast, though delicious, would benefit from having more options, including vegan and Mindanaoan cuisines. I'm quite picky when it comes to food experiences when travelling, and do look forward to tasting the local culture in the dining/breakfast spread.

The rooms are homey feel like, spacious especially the family room and ambiance of the hotel in general. Reception team - Angeline, to mention is always smiling amd accommodating, Rachelle has a pleasant personality, attentive housekeeping team, swift service in the breakfast plus the options a must try every dish, don't forget you won't have issues for a table coz you will find your name every day on the table assigned. Room amenities are very good, always looking forward to their turndown pastries with inspiring quotes as a personal touch. Edwin the Hotel Manager is very hands-on in every detail and making sure every guests is look after of their needs. Amazing team in The Bourke!!!

Just recommendations to check their bidet in the bathroom - it's leaking, only few TV channels working, sliding door in Rm 306 to the balcony - lock not working. Wifi connection is not that strong but manageable, few cloth hangers in the cabinet to use and perhaps put some scent signature in every room.

Great location and amazing staff from the front desk to those who clean the room. All were outstanding and courteous. It put a smile on my face to see them each morning to start my day! breakfast menu included a small delicious fruit and bread role plate each time as a lead-in to the full breakfast order. Also the director of the dining area was personable and very attentive. I personally travel quite a bit as a trainer for my job and he and his staff were second to none that I have met.

The staff was extremely helpful kinds and friendly. They were very quick to do everything I needed. Also the location is terrific because you can walk to a giant supermarket in 5 minutes and also of course McDonald's and Jollibee but most important 5-minute walks from a giant supermarket and extremely comfortable room. I had comfortable deluxe room excellent!

I did not give this hotel five stars because the shower not the keeps turning from hot to cold to hot to cold as you are waiting and receiving the water it constantly changes between a hot and cold. That is a defect in the plumbing system. I know this problem. When someone else turns on the hot water it gets taken away from you. That is because the plumbing was done in a cheap bad way and there's nothing they can do to change it. Bad shower but everything else five star!
