I arrived very early and the hotel staff was kind to allow me to leave my luggage at the reception. Everyone was very friendly and the location is beautiful, perfect for a relaxing time.

Prior to arrival, it was extremely difficult to communicate with the resort to book the hotel transfer from the airport and boat trip. However, a couple of days before after several tries I got a response confirming airport pick up.. For the boat trip, I was lucky as there was still availability for that day when I arrived.

The resort is in great location, just a few steps from beautiful Lio Beach. Resort is nice, clean and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable with enough space for our stay.

I would recommend looking into the kitchen/cuisine improvements. The resort has the potential due to its location, why not make it a favourite place to eat? For us, the breakfast was not good, the choice was poor. You don't want to eat heavy fried stuff or pasta for breakfast. We ended up eating eggs every day, as you have a cheff to prepare it for you to your liking. We didn't go for dinner here. Maybe next time, if it improves? 🙂

Very close proximity to Lio Beach, pier, restaurants, and airport.

The position of bed is away from electrical outlets. You cannot lounge in bed while charging your phone. They charge $500 for van ride to airport which is about 3 minutes away if stay is thru booking.com. Compared to the other resort we stayed at in Puerto Prinsesa which had complimentary airport pick up and drop off and much wider variety or breakfast items and drinks. Isla Amara just fell short of what is advertised and value for money.

What we liked is the beautiful decorated rooms they had. It felt good walking in it the very first time. A wonderful room we can call home away from home. We also liked the pool and the reception area with polite and happy staff. In addition we like the breakfast and the ability to have someone make omelet, although it could used more flavoring. The

Overall our stay was pretty good, what made it not as good is the keys to both rooms malfunctions multiple times, the safe we used malfunction the first time it was used and the food’s flavoring could be better and the road leading to the hotel is unpacked and didn’t look as presentable.

PERFECT location on Lio beach, staff are super friendly and helpful, only issue stopping it from being a 10 is the breakfast , if you go between 7 and 8 it is packed and food is very slow to be replaced when empty, the food tastes good but the selection is very underwhelming and offering selections I would never had considered for breakfast , squid adobo , carbonara , they have an omelette station which is great but gets very busy , a couple more western food items in the selection would be perfect , overall its still a good breakfast and great place to stay

We enjoyed the pool and the nice vibes around it. The staff were very kind, accommodating, and really nice. The breakfast buffet is not much but they try to have a good selection daily. The hotel itself is very near Lio Beach which made it very nice to swim early in the morning.

The room we initially had (Room 109) smelled like molds or wet wood, it was a really bad smell. I have allergies with molds which made it hard for me to breathe when going inside and staying in the room. I had to endure this for 2 nights (I just wear mask when indoors) until I mentioned it to Kate who agreed to move us to a freshly cleaned room (Room 111) and it helped me sleep much better that night. Thanks a lot for the quick action on this. :) Please make sure the rooms are well ventilated all the time - helps prevent molds or provide air purifier for each room.

good stay at lio beach. the place is clean and the beach is beautiful. many shops and quirky restaurants. as a spaniard i have to recommend the spanish restaurant, it really met my expectations. prepare yourself for European prices. pool is good and clean, i read reviews that it was bad but not for me. breakfast is decent, i also read bad reviews but i saw good variety. obviously the price of the hotel is for the location and the security. very pretty at night too! very well taken care of.

property told us the typhoon knocked the wifi. you only have signal and wifi at the small lobby. i understand that accidents happen. they do tell you about the wifi. but its been 2 months of reviews complaining about the wifi. i do advice the property to change this so they can be compliant with their resort status

The hotel had a good variety of food for breakfast, the staff was very nice and helpful, and the location was great relative to shops and the airport.

The water pressure of the bidet was a bit powerful for private areas, noise was a bit excessive at night and early mornings.

Location is very near the Lio Airport and Lio Beach, which was amazing. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Keep it up.

Although the breakfast was varied from day to day…it could still be improved with better selection and taste especially for foreign tourists who normally don’t eat Filipino type breakfasts. For the fruits, I suggest that they taste if it’s sweet or sour before serving.

Amazing location, right on Lio beach and close to all the restaurants. Very good value for your money. Scooter parking right beside the hotel for easy rides into town and around. Lio beach is perfect for sunsets, watersports and swimming. Staff was very flexible with our check in and out times. Highly recommend for your stay in El Nido.

Breakfast options can be improved. No salad nor fresh vegetables. Limited fruit. After making the room, only 1 towel was replaced while we were 2. Also no hooks in the room to hang towels or swimsuits to dry. Water also wasn't refilled but there were machines in the hallways.
