They are very responsive. After we made the reservation we reached out to them to coordinate our airport pick up as well as our ETA. We arrived prior to check in time. We ended up asking for an early check-in (for a fee). While waiting for our room, we were ushered to the rooftop so we can rest and enjoy the view of the island. Before entering the hotel, we each were given our own slippers (we have our own cubbies outside to store our shoes ) to use inside. That gesture already made me feel at home since we are used to doing that 😁. Each day we chose our breakfast (ala carte) for the following day. The breakfast were delicious and freshly cooked. You need to give them the time you will have breakfast so they can have it ready for you. The hotel provides you with drinking water on each floor. We were warned before we ventured to El Nido not to consume their tap water even for brushing your teeth. We were assured by the hotel that we can use their tap water even for brushing teeth. That was an added peace of mind for us. They have a bidet (a hose) which is a good thing. But I think it's common in most restrooms in the island because they discourage you to dispose the toilet paper in the toilet (as I have also observed in other areas of the Philippines that we visited as well!). Our room was what we expected. They provided you with the amenities listed on their website. The room has a musty smell. We brought it up to them and they tried their best to minimize the smell if not eliminate. We didn't really hang out much in our room, so it wasn't a big deal. The staff (EVERYONE) were a gem. From the moment we met Nikko at the airport and the moment we set foot in the hotel, they were extremely accommodating and friendly. When we left, I felt like I was leaving a set of good friends behind! The location is quiet and peaceful. You have to walk to get to the townsquare but that's not a big deal for us.

This is such a great hotel and we loved our stay here. Firstly, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - They can arrange tours A to D for you, organise transfers to other parts of Palawan and you can hire a scooter from them directly at a reasonable 500 pesos a day. The female owner in particular is incredibly warm and friendly and she goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. Secondly the room was perfect for us. It was very clean, modern, bed was comfy and had a lovely balcony with a good view of El Nido. The bathroom was clean/ modern and after being in Port Barton the hot and filtered water was a bliss! The complimentary breakfast served was delicious and varied, it provided us with the fuel we needed for our busy schedule of tours. Whilst the hotel is situated on the outskirts of El Nido it is only a 10- 15 minute walk to the town centre. People complaining about this clearly don’t use their legs! We found it a perfect location since it was away from the music and noise of El Nido to allow for a peaceful and quiet sleep. There are also some great local restaurants at the foot of the hotel. Overall, highly recommend this hotel. It would be hard to find a better hotel in El Nido.

Stuff was very nice and tried to help us with everything we needed. This was our first reasonably comfortable accommodation in the Philippines so it was a delight to sleep in a quite surroundings on a proper bed with a proper shower, a good aircon, and simple but tasty breakfasts that could be adjusted to your preferences. Most importantly, the host was very pleasant and accommodating.

The window faces a wall just two meters away, and the bathroom tiles make it hard to step into the room with dry feet. Probably not the place's fault but inability to pay by card: We tried four different cards, none of which worked, and had to pay in cash, using up most of what we had left.

Layang Layang Home is a family-run hotel located in a quiet area with lots of restaurants, shops, etc. nearby. We enjoyed our daily walk to El Nido town (only 10min on a promenade) with its beautiful view on the surrounding landscape. Lizza and her staff are very attentive and welcoming hosts, who were always happy to help out with our needs (food order, scooter rental, day tour booking, van transfer booking etc.) and provided lots of useful recommendations about the area. We enjoyed our stay at this accommodation so much, we extended it 3 times hahaha :D Thank you Lizza, Nikko, Blue, Jef and all the others - your hospitality made our stay exceptionally and we are forever grateful for your kindness :)

I recently returned to a hotel in El Nido for my second visit, and I'm delighted to report that my experience was just as pleasant as the first time, if not more so. Over the past five years, the surroundings of the area have noticeably developed. There are now numerous modern restaurants and cafes, which were a delightful addition to the local scene. One of the most significant improvements for me was the enhanced internet connectivity. Both mobile internet in the area and Wi-Fi in the room were reliable and fast, making it feasible for me to work remotely without any connectivity issues. This was a huge plus as it allowed me to balance leisure and work effortlessly. The hotel staff deserve special mention for their exceptional hospitality. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with various needs. Whether it was helping me choose a rental bike, booking tours, or arranging transfers to Puerto Princesa, their assistance was invaluable and made my stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, my stay in El Nido was a wonderful blend of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. I look forward to my next visit.

We liked very much the location and the fact that Lizza ,the heart and soul of the business, was all the time preoccupied about our comfort. You don ‘ have to worry about the ABCD tours,she does everything,just let her know one day before.The WIFI was perfect at the ground level,where we stayed. The distance between Layang and centre of El Nido is actually the best thing and you will convince yourself about it the first time you arrive in the middle of the noise and agitation of the town centre.In fact,it’s only 10 minutes,very safe and pleasant to make

- just to show how much we enjoyed this place we extended our stay from 3 to 5 days and we didn't want to leave as we felt at home, we just couldn't stay any longer as per our travel plan - Miss Liza is the sweetest and the friendliest host you can imagine, she helped us with everything we needed, including booking the tours (which we really enjoyed), transportation and even medical assistance we needed - the breakfasts were very good with several options every day to choose from - if you ever walked in your life then Layang Layang home me is not far away from the center and actually the walk is very pleasant and on the way you have a great local restaurant Mia's which you should definitely try - Apart of Miss Liza, her nephew Nico was very helpful and super friendly - the room was big enough and the bed comfortable and if needed there is air condition in the room - we will definitely be back in the future!

The property was clean and spacious. All the necessary facilities were available, and the staff were kind and accommodating if we had any other requests. Liza and her other team members were very polite and welcoming which we appreciated during our stay there. Highly recommended place to stay in El Nido for leisure with beautiful views, especially during sunset hours. There were also available water (warm and cold) dispensers on each communal floor which was a good thing to have.

I liked the majority of the property, nothing negative in particular stood out for me.

We loved staying here. The rooms are one the smaller side, but great for the price! The staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful! Warm water in the shower, with great pressure. Saw that someone mentioned about the ants in the reviews, we had a small amount of ants in the bathroom but nothing that bothered us very much, I informed the housekeeping team about it and they seemed to be able to get ride of the ants every time they cleaned/ once a day. The hotel is a 10-15 min walk from El Nido town centre, both my partner and I loved the walk from the hotel to the town. The walk is especially beautiful in the night when you can see all the stars. Mr Niko picked us up from the airport, a very smooth and quick ride with the tricycle. Will absolutely stay here again! Can highly recommend!

We arrived El Nido without planning ahead for accommodation, and while we could stay for only one night, our host Nikko arranged adventures for us over the next couple of days, solving logistics, arranging transportation, and safe guarding our luggage when we were on tour. Can’t say enough good things about this delightful young man. He made our visit to El Nido a wonderful experience.
