Literally everything. -It's in the small details that show how much they care. -The free dedicated cab rides to town and back all day, a clothesline for drying your clothes, a foot shower at every door, free pool towels, staff who rake the beach out front every morning so we can enjoy the beach, and gets rid of any unwanted salesmen. -The pool is sparkling clean, the cocktails and happy hour are better than in town. -the NYE buffet was great and we were right next to the fireworks! Whole pig lechon was amazing -the quiet location and the privacy to enjoy second to none views -walking distance to town, or cab if you want -instantaneous hot water system was fantastic with no faults -restaurant staff were beyond accommodating and hard working. -filter water refils at front desk -breakfast options were all delicious. Especially the beef tapa -standalone bungalows means privacy. Never had any noise problems -air con went strong 24/7 with no problems -all staff were professional and friendly -not crowded, so never super busy

Cant think of anything worth mentioning. There were a few little lizards in the common areas but we like the company

The staff are wonderful. In particular, Irwin, May @ the front desk & Shaeonely & Shae in the restaurant. All were genyuinely warm and thoroughly professional. The quaint, on-demand tuk-tuk service from the hotel that went along the beach to the town square was quite helpful. The Hatch beef cheeseburger with caramelised onions has to be among the best I've ever devoured. It was astoundingly delicious. I had it two days in a row and yes - love was as great the second time round. The fruit shakes were great too! The bed was awesomely comfortable. We slept well.

Although the pool is quite small, it did have a wonderful view of the bay. We had to be moved because the air conditioner spewed out ice, but the staff were very helpful. The TV didn't work. While the accommodation wasn't terrible value for money, it wasn't great either. Based on nearly a quarter century of travel in Asia, I'd describe the property as a 4 star charing 5 star prices. It also demanded 1/2 of the room fee paid in advance of arrival - the other 1/2 upon arrival. A novel approach.

Everything is very clean and cozy decorated, I felt right at home and comfortable in the room. Pool area is really great- stunning views and comfortable sun loungers. You could tell that the place is still under construction and lots of corners and areas still not done. The tuktuk ride to the town whenever you want to makes up for the not so central location.

The beach directly at the resort is really rocky and not very inviting for swimming. Breakfast could have been a bit more special considering the fancy level of the whole place and given the high prices.

Staff were very friendly, especially in the restaurant. Jam and Ann were the two stand outs. Lovely ladies, friendly and helpful with a good sense of humour. Pool was great and a good depth for all users with a spectacular view of the bay and the islands in the distance. Despite a short time here I found it very relaxing and felt like I had been here longer. Rooms are a good size and the bed comfortable. Food was of a high standard and very tasty. Will definitely return here in the future.

The one thing letting this area down, not the resort is the amount of plastic waste around. There needs to be long term local efforts to reduce this to stop it becoming a real issue. It does spoil what is a very nice and peaceful part of Palawan.

The location just around the bay from El Nido beach was out of the noise but only a short 4 minute tuk tuk ride away. The hotels own free tuk tuk service was quick and easy. All the staff were attentive, pleasant and helpful. We loved the suite and slept well on comfortable beds in the air conditioning. There were thoughtful touches like the rack outside the room for drying our swimmers and towels, and water sprayers to clean our feet and shoes before going up on the room walkways. The open air restaurant on the beach end of the resort overlooked the bay and you could enjoy the view and sunset from the restaurant or pool. This was a great place to relax and, even on a hot day, it was comfortable to sit and eat. Direct access to the quiet beach was great. We sat under the provided umbrella on sunlounges watching the boats and relaxed.

Other than the cleanliness and impeccable views of el nido the stand out were the staff. From the bottom of our hearts we are so grateful for your kindness and always going out of your way to make us comfortable. Thank you Abbie for consistently assisting us even outside the parameters of her job role!

We transferred to this hotel as the previous hotel was not available for the dates. This is a great stay, however getting here you will need to contact them as it is tricky to get to with bags and children. They do provide a free tuktuk which is a bigger and fancier one that the usual ones that you are used to. We are greeted with drinks and a warm smile. They have a pool which is great, but keep an eye out for your children as there is a suction drain in there which is very strong. The view at the restaurant and pool is breath-taking. The surrounding areas for sari-sari stores and basic restaurants are great - very convenient. We felt safe walking around.

The view from our room was amazing. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind. The restaurant staff were fabulous and nothing was a trouble for them.

When we arrived they tried to get even more $$ out of us for extra bedding and breakfast even though we had already paid in full and they knew how many people we had booked the room for. One lady who worked at the front desk was hard and unkind about it. But once we involved management it was settled swiftly. It wasn’t a good way to be greeted at a hotel or good first impression. But after that we had a wonderful time and it is a beautiful location.

The Nest is perfect if you want some luxury but don’t want to be too close to the centre of busy El Nido. One of the comfiest rooms we stayed in, loved the layout of the pool and the view from the bar. Some amazing sunset views, worth the cost of this place alone. Nice happy hour cocktails and one of the better breakfasts we’ve had on our 6 week honeymoon across SE Asia :) Would stay here again. P.S there’s an amazing family restaurant a minute down the road where you can get a great meal for just a few $, definitely check that out too.

Nothing I didn’t like, one of my favourite stops in the Philippines!

Very good location, close to town square where there is a lot of shops and restaurants. Room is quite big. Clean and well organize. The view and the swimming pool are really great! Nice service for tik tuk to the town square.

Horrible restaurant. Not prepared for kids and no flexibility. For example when there was no dish for the kids we asked for sausage, they ask us to pay like for full meal of super spagetti with sausage. Very expensive, no alternatives for kids. Other hotels would try to help that kids eat, and make adjustment for meal and orders for kids. This restaurant from the hotel is not flexible at all, and for adults many meals very oily.. we were not happy at all. They were taking advantage of us. Very expensive and not good, better to eat outside. Also shower very low presure and very small bathroom.
