Red Planet BGC -The Fort is a simple hotel in BGC. The room is quite small with no option to take clothes out of the luggage as there was no cabinet/dresser to put them in. The room is designed for travelers who are on a budget and just looking for a place to sleep, shower, and go. There was a small table with outlet to plug-in electronics and a kettle but not coffee supplies or cups. My main reason for booking this hotel was it's proximity to the BGC main attractions and restaurants per other traveler's reviews. This hotel is NOT within a walking distance where all the restaurants and the center of all activities in BGC is located. There is a McDonalds across the street, Starbucks and Cafe next door. You'll need to take a grab car to the main BGC attractions and restaurants. All in all, I think the price matched what I paid for.

Cleanliness, value for money, and location - it was close and a walking distance to Uptown Mall and other places to visit while in BGC. Staff were also warm and welcoming. I booked 2 rooms - the other for my parents. I wanted to make them happy that day since it was my brother's first death anniversary. And am glad that it did not fail me. My parents were satisfied and had a wonderful stay.

There were only 2 pillows. If possible make it 4 pillows standard. While you may request for an extra one and it's for free, but subject to availability.

The room size, but I was prepared for it because of previous reviews. I've actually been in smaller rooms (e.g. Tokyo Shibuya) so I was perfectly ok with the room size because I was a lone traveler. Two people with their full complement of luggage in the room at Red Planet would be a challenge and I would think an uncomfortable fit. BUT... you can't beat the price (value). It's also the best location for the price because you're still within the edge of BGC proper (5-minute brisk walk to Uptown Mall), there is a very nice restaurant attached to the side of the building, a Starbucks across the street and a 24-hour McDonalds across the corner from the hotel.

Red Planet is your basic/budget business hotel. Rooms and beds are just right for 2 people. It is clean and very close to convenience stores, McDonalds, a coffee shop (ZUS, Starbucks), Banks and about 7 minute walk to Uptown Parade/Mall and restaurants. It is also around 10 minute walk to Mitsukoshi and Landers supermarket. Parking is available and is convenient. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Water refill is available in the lobby--you just need to bring your own container. Towels and soap are available but there are no slippers and toothbrush, although this is expected for a budget hotel and if you forget to bring some or need one, the hotel offers them for 45 pesos. Overall, this is a nice hotel to stay in for staycation.

While the television offers casting/mirroring for your gadgets to watch youtube, Netflix etc., it would be a little difficult or inconvenient for users who are unable to cast in their device--in our case, we needed to download an app for casting but still unable to locate it. There was no cable or local channel so we weren't able to use the television at all. The pillows a re a little too soft and becomes flat when used. But the staff were kind enough to provide us with extra pillows to remedy it.

Very good location, close to multiple shopping malls, restaurants, the famous Venice Canal is only a few minutes drive. The hotel itself was very clean and comfy and the staff were very friendly. The WiFi connection was stable and the speed very good, so if you travel for work, this will not be a problem. Keep in mind no restaurants and no bar in the hotel, so no food and drinks are available, but as I said there are many within a few minutes walk when you step out of the hotel.

The all in one shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap...I just found it weird. Not a big deal and not a big issue (for me) because I always carry my own and don't count on freebies from the hotel, but considering where this hotel is located and the price per night, I believe you can improve that (at least a little bit). Other than that nothing, I can recommend the hotel with both hands and will definitely stay again when I am in the area.

The staffs were very welcoming and nice, always smiling and greeting. It is close to the uptown mall and BGC high street which was very convenient and just walk distance. It’s affordable too.

There was a problem with the room but it was eventually fixed. Overall the experience was compensated by how nice the staffs were and how cleaned the room and hotel were. I would definitely still come back again here in the future.

Convenient location just a 5 to 10min walk from a mall, and a very clean room. Bed was comfortable and the shower was spacious enough. Enjoyed having the mini fridge and kettle, but bring your own coffee/tea sachets as I did not have any. The water dispenser in the lobby was a nice touch too. Fast and reliable WIFI. And lastly the staff and security were all welcoming and helpful :)

Room is small, I had a small suitcase and just about managed to open it fully.

The area is safe and there is many convenience store nearby along with fast food restos. The security guard is the plus point for me because he is very friendly and courteous.

It's just personal for me, I am not fond of higher floors, although I requested for a lower floor room, so that was an issue for me, and the aircon suddenly died down, I had to manually power it on again, and you can hear the banging of doors and the other rooms noises as well.

The location was perfect as it was close to places we wanted to visit around BGC. Courteous staff, responsive to requests, hotel was clean. Will definitely go back again.

Can probably assign more front desk officers especially during peak check-in times to address ling queues quicker. Also a social media personnel who can attend to online or over the phone inquiries in a timely manner.

This is a great hotel to stay at. I have stayed here twice this year, and it never lets me down. It's clean, the staff are friendly and it is very central. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in BGC. I'm looking forward to my third stay in August! .
