The place is very well kept and clean. The reef is beautiful, if you go the the left. The breakfast is very good if it is a buffet. If there are not enough people, it is a-la-chart, and it not that good. The swimming pool is great

1. The rooms we took had little privecy and were very noisy. All rooms are on the same balcony, (sharing the chairs) and you have to pass all the rooms to get were you want. So if anybody checks in or out in the night or early morning, the noise is bad. Also, they are above the reception and in front of the restaurant kitchen. So you hear the staff chattering or the car going... (see pictures attached). 2. The dinner is very expensive, it is nicer to rent a motorbike ( for 300 per 24 hours, two people ) and go out to explore the city and restaurants.

We stayed here with our young children and had a very good experience. The resort is located just outside Moalboal, but it’s easy to get to the village by tuk-tuk if you want to see the famous sardines or explore the town. The grounds are beautiful, with a lovely garden and several cozy spots to enjoy a meal. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant serves very good food. We especially enjoyed eating in the different little corners of the garden. Snorkeling right in front of the resort is excellent, and it’s a big plus that you don’t need to go far to see plenty of marine life. The rooms are good, though they are starting to feel a little dated. The air conditioning units could use an update, but overall the accommodation was comfortable. We had a small issue during our stay, but the owner handled it quickly and very effectively, which we really appreciated. Overall, this is a place we can definitely recommend especially for families.

This is a strange hotel, some things are exceptionally good, while others are really bad. Personally, I loved the place, but I can imagine that some people may dislike it. Good things: 1) The hotel clearly has the best possible location in the whole Moalboal area. 2) Hotel staff is super friendly and professional. 3) There is a wonderful beach right next to the hotel + some private beach areas that belong to the hotel. 4) House reef is amazing. 5) Food quality is good.

Bad things: 1) Rooms are relatively small and old. 2) Reception closes at 6pm and after that there is no one who can help you with anything. 3) Selection of food for both breakfast, lunch and dinner is extremely small. 4) You can't just come and eat, you need to order your food several hours in advance.

The resort is a bit far from Cebu City, but absolutely worth it. The grounds are peaceful and full of flowers, and the cosy bungalows make it a perfect place to relax. We loved spending time in the pool, and the public beach is only a 10-minute walk away. The food was delicious, and the staff were always warm and attentive, often going beyond expectations. A highlight of our stay was the diving — the instructor from the hotel was excellent, making the experience safe, fun, and truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for both relaxation and adventure!

Great, friendly and helpful staff! Rooms were clean. No TV. Pool was great. Massages and massage area were great. Gym was ok for the place. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful lawns and areas to relax. Lunch set menu was a good deal.

Had to select dinner menu prior to dinner. And if you didn't, you didn't get served dinner.

Breakfast was amazing. On the days we had an early departure a sandwich was packed for us. The location is amazing, can do some nice snorkeling and swimming with turtles right on resort beach. Easy for all levels.

When locals know you are staying at the Dolphin House, you will get ripped off. They will over charge you. The tours offered in the hotel, even the private car to the airport was over priced. You can find the same tours/ride for less than half in town.

Nice hotel located near White beach with direct access to the sea and snorkeling sites, a nice swimming pool, a spa with good massages and also a billard room which was good during rainy evenings. The hotel has a diving center which organises scuba diving sessions to the main Moalboal diving spots. Our kids (8 and 10 yo) were able to have their first scuba diving initiation, first in the swimming pool to give them confidence and then in the sea, and the instructors were very gentle and great with them. Even though there were some coral damages from December 2021 super typhoon, there is still a lot to see just in front of the hotel and we enjoyed the snorkeling there, but it's probably not what it used to be. A good point as well is that the hotel tries to avoid plastic waste. They don't provide plastic water bottles, instead they provide a pitcher of fresh filtered water in the room, refilled every day, and free water dispensers for residents to refill their re-usable water bottles.

The restaurant's food was quite good compared to other Cebu restaurants, however the service was very slow and the staff seemed to be very forgetful so expect to repeat and check your orders multiple times. They also required us to order our meals 1 or 2 hours before service time which was a bit annoying. The reception were not particularly helpful in organising outside activities so better to go directly to Panagsama beach to organise hiking/canyoning.

Great beachfront property with reef snorkelling only 20 metres away at low tide. Many turtles seen. Very few (less than 4 groups) in the resort at this time of year. Short tricycle ride into Moaboal and surrounds. Easy access to the falls. Would certainly come again

Beachfront. Quiet.

Dolphin House is absolutely beautiful. It overlooks the ocean and it had the best sunsets. We stayed at Dolphin House because it had a dive center right on the water. The dive master was very relaxed, friendly, and helpful. We also rented kayaks on the property. The food at Dolphin House was a wonderful surprise. We had breakfast and dinner there each day, and we cleaned our plates every meal. The best food in Moalboal is definitely at Dolphin House. The property grounds are well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We recommend Dolphin House house for anyone that wants to snorkel, scuba dive, kayak, or just be near the ocean.

The bed was a bit hard for me...just my preference. Some people might prefer a harder bed.

Almost everything! Amazing sea next to the hotel room, nice resort overall and very friendly and helpful staff.

Prices for the hotel food lunch/dinner are at least 3x higher than prices in restaurants around or at Pangasma beach. Also we had power break 2 times during one night. Otherwise awesome.
