Friendly staff - the owner is from Austria :) Delivered us the scooter to the bus station and dropped us at the End of our stay at the bus station again. 1 Peso water refill. They have lots of animals (bunny, birds, fish, Guinea pig, dogs) Sitting area in front of your bungalow. They have their own restaurant. You can book tours (Kawasan, Sardine Run..) Clothes line besides your bungalow. Toilet paper in the bathroom.

Location is off, you need a scooter to get around.

We had a long stay here and never had to worry about any issues. The staff was friendly and very responsive, always making sure we were comfortable. The facilities were clean, and essentials like toilet paper were always provided. The garden is truly magical, full of friendly animals that make it feel like a little contact zoo. Just keep in mind that the place is close to nature, so you might occasionally see some insects in the room—but that’s to be expected. Additional amenities like a kitchen (available for an extra fee), a motor scooter, and various beach equipment make the stay even more convenient. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy nature!

Very hospitable, knowledgeable local owners & staff. The restrooms are nice and clean & the room was quiet, placed outside of the busier areas. The location seemed perfect for me! They offer reasonable scooter rentals which I enjoyed using daily. These roads are fun to scoot around on with the freedom to pull over to enjoy a spontaneous view or swim spot. I absolutely thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Also! They have bunnies and birds and a koi pond with several sitting & chilling areas throughout their property. I highly recommend this for all types except the rich resort goers and party animals. This is nice & chill island vibes.

Honestly, everything. THE HOST! The host is just outstanding. She was extremely accommodating, helpful, very willing to go out of her way at every step and super friendly. I accidentally left my passport at the property when I had a flight to catch that same evening and the host went graciously and very efficiently out of her way to have this delivered to me on time and kept in touch throughout. This is just one example of her willingness. We extended our stay by 2 nights because we loved it so much and were even kindly invited to a Filipino karaoke night. The huts are comfortable and rustic, very island vibes. The animals were just incredible - we were lucky enough to be there with 5 tiny puppies who were roaming the grounds of the properties for infinite cuddles, alongside rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and fish. It is such a little slice of heaven. Also scooters to rent for 350PHP/day. Great location - quiet, near a beautiful beach, yet less than 10 min drive from the town. The showers are warm, powerful, and cleaned regularly. There is also an option to have laundry done. Just an 11/10 place and you can tell the family really care about their business and customers.

Absolutely awesome place! We do recommend coming here if you stay 2/3/4 days in Moalboal area! The room we got was tiny but beautiful and comfortable for the 2 of us. There is a net so you don't need to worry about mosquitoes during the night. It was also quite clean, the staff is super nice and helpful! They can also pick you up from Moalboal bus station for just 150php by tuktuk. No noise during the night, we also met nice people and nice vibes:) the place is absolutely stunning, there are fishes around, rabbits and birds. The toilet is shared and they are clean and good enough for what you need to do. You can also tap the water for only 1peso. Another thing that we want to add and it is actually the highlight of our stay in Cebu: do the canyoneering experience with Jeff, who is taking care of the guests from the Bamboo house! He's a super nice guy and together with Michael you will have a great canyoneering experience with them, departing around 7/8am to the canyoneering so you avoid the crowd (the canyoneering can be super super busy after 9/10am so we recommend going as earlier as possible). We had so much fun and Jeff is a great photographer!! Michael took care of us and we felt safe the whole time, and they motivated us to jump and to not feel the fear of it xD so yes, please do this favour to yourself:) The location is perfect, the White Beach is really close to it and the same for Panagsama Beach ( just 10m by scooter), where you can look for sardines+turtles by yourself or with a guide :)

The wifi is not always perfect, but for us was fine and is a good way to enjoy life without an internet connection:)

The place is very unique! I had a lovely time and everyone working there was very friendly. I spent some time chatting about life with the owner how was very kind. It’s 10 min away from all the “action” of Moalboal which is exactly what I was looking for. The bamboo houses are a vibe in themselves which added to the experience :) Would totally recommend for someone looking for a simple accommodation with loads of character and friendly host!

We have been traveling for a while now and in this price range this was one of the best places where we have stayed. We extended our stay for 7 days in total. Bungalow is great, you have enough space for everything. We had only 1 bug in our room through out our stay which was suprisingly good. Owner and stuff super friendly and helpful. Very peacefull vibe with dogs and rabbits running around. You can rent motorbike also for decent price. You can get some food and beer here as well. We really enjoyed our stay!

Could get noisy at night. Neighbours rosters goes sickomode sometimes. Maybe a bit far from everything but if you consider renting motorcycle anyway, then this place is perfect.

We booked here since we found it very unique and very "nature" like, never been in this type of hosuing before. The place itself is very nicely decorated and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations and ideas for us to visit during our Moalboal stay. Also they have many pets, and very friendly doggies that accompanied us in our stay. The area is silent so it was great to rest. They had two fans in the room so it wasn't hot at night. They have an affordable breakfast service.

The bed wasn't the best, its thin but it's expected. And since we were very tired we fell asleep right away.

everything was perfect, the atmosphere of the place is really welcoming, the staff very kind. I drank the only good coffee of my entire 3-week trip to the Philippines here, served like in Viennese cafes! Really good prices

we rented some scooters, a piece broke without us having any responsibility but we were still asked to pay for the damage. Considering the small amount of the damage and considering that we had a really good time, we still paid because the amount was small and we had a good time and we were sorry to leave badly with the owner

The Maoalboal Bamboo House exceeded our expectations!! We were immediately greeted by the bosses of the place: Yona, Chico & Bruno. These three doggies are the soul of the place. If you're a dog lover, you'll be treated with extra dog attention here :D The location was close to Moalboal city center and close to popular beaches. Make sure to stop by the local casino place less than 5min of walk from the Bamboo House. You'll be able to experience a unique game of roulette, adults & kids engage in it. The staff was very friendly and gave us nice recommendations on what to do in the area. They also rent scooters and can arrange a canyoneering trip for you. The overall ambiance of the place was very chill and it felt like you are in the middle of some secluded jungle. Thank you Bamboo House for such a nice experience!
