- Room layout is familiar from previous trips to a different Microtel - two beds with a luggage ledge near the window, elevated TV, restroom with shower. - Right on the beach! Though due to the rain didn't get to try the kayaking. My friend still tried out the swimming pool despite the weather - Internet is very very good here - Paella in a hot pan at the restaurant was very, very delicious

- As a Californian, I grew up with Mexican food, so I did notice that the runny cheese used in the nachos and the quesadilla isn't anything close to authentic texture or taste-wise. More importantly, unlike the paella, both of those items were served barely warm.

Everything was absolutely amazing. I don’t understand the rating <9 to be very honest. The hotel is super clean, the staff very nice and welcoming. The found the breakfast to be very diverse and tasty. Besides, I believe it is one of the few nice spots at the sea in PP. Some people complained about the beach and the tides . Well, if you want to have a proper beach PP is just not the right place to stay in the first place.

Beachfront, calm and safe open sea. Fine beach sand, I can walk barefoot. No need for aqua shoes. Long stretch of shallow sea water during high tide and long stretch of the shore for walking during low tide. Our rooms have access to the beach and it is great to catch the sunrise every morning. Food is great with generous servings. Staffs are kind, approachable, courteous and helpful. Kitchen staff exhibited grace pressure when dealing with an impatient customer.

Come to think of it, there was an impatient foreign grandpa who was demanding/searching for the soup during breakfast. If there won’t be any in the menu, simply hide the bowl rack and the soup warmer if there is no available soup for consumption. People thought that there will be soup available soon and it is just not yet served. Also constantly check if there is enough supply of coffee cups and glasses placed on your racks. That was also one of that grandpa’s complains.

Since we have already been in this hotel a few times, I don't want to write a review. Instead, I would like to describe what has changed since our last visit. - The internet has improved significantly. We even had our own router in the room and the speed and reliability are good. - The pool has been renovated and now looks like new. The water is clean. - The keycard system has obviously been improved. It works much better now. When the card denied access we just had to wipe it with a towel. - Unfortunately, the restaurant is still a bit of a challenge. The staff are super friendly, but the food takes a long time to prepare. You should plan time if you want to eat there. Or order from outside, which is of course also possible. It's not a huge problem, so I didn't list it as negative. I assume it’s just good to know. All in all, it is still a fantastic place with an indescribable view, especially from the sea view rooms. The rooms are very well furnished and the direct access to the beach is unique. The hospitality is also exceptional. On my birthday I was even surprised with a lovely decoration. Since we live in Palawan, we will definitely book this hotel again.

The view, ambiance, perfect for kids and rooms were very clean, staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. As a family of 3 we were lucky to received the best room of all. My son a 2 yrs old that loves the ocean was given the closest room from the front yard, from the pool and restaurant. We came early and was given the room 1hr before check in. The receptionist were very polite and nice to help us out. We loved our stay. Thank you.

The signal was on and off but understandable, pricing for the souvenir was 3x higher than the normal price. Half would be reasonable.

I really enjoyed staying at Microtel; it's affordable, and the vibes in front of the beach are great. It was very peaceful, and everybody greeted you with "good morning" and "hello." Some hotels only greet foreigners, which made me feel bad because they are Pinoys too, right? The staff in the canteen are very nice too; kudos to Mark! I'm not sure of his name, sorry. He offered things that were not visible in the canteen, like toasting bread for me—a simple gesture that I appreciate. I will definitely recommend Microtel. Thank you for a good experience.

I wasn't able to get our one-day breakfast because we needed to wake up early and go out for our El Nido tour, but that's fine. I wasn't able to go swimming because there was a couple doing something, and it was awkward for us. 😂 But it's beyond hotel control. I will definitely recommend Microtel

Staff are accommodating and assist whenever a need arises.

Wifi is not really that strong. I traveled for work and needed connection most of the time. Mobile data also fluctuated.

Since we have been here several times, I have already commented in detail about it. So I just try to keep it short this time, as an update since our last stay :-) - The restaurant has improved a lot. Unfortunately though, the prices for some of the drinks are astronomically high now. 175 pesos for a local beer? Seriously?… Come on... Apart from that, it is definitely one of the best hotels here. The view from the sea view rooms is fantastic and breathtaking. A fantastic place to relax.

I liked the property’s available price, it’s wonderfully refreshing air conditioning, the sweet comfortable mattresses, accommodating staff, I enjoyed the restaurant onsite and its food. I also loved the picturesque views that the property had to offer. The property was calm, relaxing and it was…an escape. Thank you Microtel by Wyndham puerto princesa

I have no negative comments to say about the property, the only thing I didn’t like was that my visit had to end. Thank you Microtel by Wyndham puerto princesa

Beach is 2 min from your room. You have a huge beach in low tide or a bit too deep ocean in high tide. You got some mangrove around and lots of wildlife. I even saw a Palawan monitor lizard. The bed is very good. The ocean view is good. There is a mini fridge The breakfast was good. The shower is decent, with clean towels.

A sprite in can is 120 pesos. (35 in a store). So walk a bit, buy at a store, and fill your fridge. The pillows are not what I like.
