The location was good, pretty close to everything. Room was lovely and clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. Massage was amazing

Staff in the cafe could be better. I bought a can of beer and instead of them opening it and pouring it into a glass I had to do it myself. When I did the beer exploded everywhere…. All over my bag and my clothes. The male assistant looked at me and asked if I shook the can (really). Offering no assistance to clean myself up after being sprayed. I laughed it off but the assistance could have been better. I also got somebody else’s laundry. And when I arrived at 9.30am I had to go and make myself busy in town due to not being able too checkin in Attention to detail could be better I think

We enjoyed our stay in Balai Prinsesa. It became our home away from home. The staff were all hospitable and friendly. From the moment we were picked up from the airport we were received with warm smiles. Special mention to the housekeeping team headed by John Mark and of course lovely Josie who were both accomodating and attentive to our needs. Thank you to the ladies at the reception desk Lira, Gella and Mel G. and the staff in Lilim Cafe. Thanks chef for the lovely meals.

The hot water system was temperamental. Pardon the pun. It needed to be re- set constantly. That's why were thankful to the housekeeping team who never got tired to reset it for us. Water pressure is erratic depending on the time of day.

The room was spacious and the bathroom had two showers which was useful for our big group. Beds were comfortable. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot tub and the saunas!! We had both all to our selves and it was amazing!!

The rooms had windows that were etched out so you couldn’t really see out of them, felt a little isolated but we didn’t mind as we were only here for a day. The cafe staff also knocked on our door quite late to collect payment as they knew we would be leaving early the next day to catch our flight.

We initially were only going to stay in our room for a few hours. We got in late but had an early flight out. The following morning, our flight was cancelled, and we had nowhere to go. We came back to the hotel and the staff returned our keys to us. They also offered to give us late checkout. It made a bad situation much better for us. The staff was amazing. Everything about the property was amazing. If we ever return to Puerto Princesa, we'll be staying at Balai Princesa. We are more than impressed with every aspect of our stay there.

Although it’s a small, five rooms property, the rooms are huge in size and there are lots of nicely decorated places to sit, have coffee and chit chat. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant attached to it, serves good food although the bar needs to be better stocked. There aren’t many options for breakfast but it was sumptuous. It’s located in a calmer area of Puerto Princesa, away from the hustle and bustle of the town.

There aren’t any options to eat nearby and the grocery store is also a bit far away.

Jacuzzi and their trademark of Massage needs to be mentioned. I had a severe lower back problem which needs attention. But unfortunately, due to Easter Sunday, I couldn't find anyone, but the masseur was outstanding. she advised me to use Jacuzzi after massage which really helped. Truly needs to be highlighted and appreciated.

Though they say breakfast starts at 7 am, they are late and customers who want to leave early have to wait for long to serve them breakfast as staffs arrive after 7, they take sweet time to prepare the dishes which can be avoided.

Family friendly place where everyone was warm and ready to help. Their housekeeping team specially John Mark and Josie were quick to respond to our requests. The hotel staff made our stay worry free and memorable. We met the owner who was one of the most down to earth person we have met. How his staff treats the guests is a reflection of how he is to his staff. Thanks Balai Prinsesa for treating us like family.

Room is great, food is also nice, massage is wonderful. It’s nice that the property has sauna and jakuzzi.

Sometimes there was nothing to eat as they didn’t have fish or mango or salad. Also one of the massage master was chatting in her phone during the massage… in last days jakuzzi was not working or they didn’t know how to turn it on.. same with sauna.

Inside, the hotel is very class! Lobby, restaurant and rooms are clean and very well decorated. Massage service is great. Restaurant for breakfast / dinner is very good as well (didn’t try lunch).

Quite small hotel, and the outside is not so well maintained, especially on SPA side. Jacuzzi was not available during our stay. No big problem for us, but if we had known before, we probably would have book another hotel.

Superb service! Our stay was so comfortable and we felt the warm welcome from all the staff. The staff from their restaurant was our fave, super sarap ng free breakfast.

We saw a dead insect that looks like bed bug. They cleaned the room right away and replaced the beddings. Thankfully we didn’t find anything on our luggage. It’s a bit scary though.
