Taal Vista is Taal Vista. It's an institution in Tagaytay. You stay here for the VIEW. I got the one with balcony facing Taal Lake and that was really the reason why I stayed here. Wine and cheese in private in my own balcony. It was exactly the peace I was looking for. I just wish I didn't hear people shouting from the rides in Sky Ranch.

They had very cheap instant coffee in the room. For the price you pay for an executive room, this could be a lot better. Also, I didn't feel confident using the bathtub to soak in as it had chips on it and at times, the water didn't drain when I took a shower. Had to literally remove the cover to the drain just for the water to go down. These are not big things but for the price you pay for a premium room, this should not be hard to solve.

The lake-wing rooms have beautiful view. Wide selection for breakfast. Nice location, next to the SkyRanch fun park - with direct access from the hotel, but you need to get VOUCHER on the reception first.

The dining options are nothing special, but by taxi there are many other restaurants available outside. Minibar: empty, however this way you can fit your own stuff... The children's playroom is moldy and wet ceiling. The bar/a-la-carte restaurant's staff is terribly slow, if you don't plan to sit there for 2-3 hours, its better to go outside.

Fantastic location. Friendly and efficient staff. We were offered a complimentary room on the 4th floor of the Lake Wing after we were not satisfied of the initial room we were given on the Mountain Wing. Staff were ready to serve you just to satisfy their customer which is a sign of good service. At the end of a customer’s stay, it’s the customers satisfaction that counts most.

Food and drinks is a bit pricy. Yes, it’s a tourist’s destination and tourists from abroad can afford it but a bit expensive for local tourists. We also want to attract local tourists, right?

We had a fantastic stay at Taal Vista hotel! It exceeded our expectations. The staffs were incredibly nice and helpful… the receptionists on duty last Aug 10-11 i forgot their names… the Veranda staffs and cashiers during Aug 10 lunch time and Aug 11 breakfast. It makes our experience even better. I highly recommend it!

It would be great if they will have additional recreational activities like bowling and if they can also extend the time in gameroom and playgrounds for kids including the swimming pool.

Lovely hotel, reception, bellman, operator and housekeeping were very friendly accommodating and approachable. Only what we felt bad is the waiters in the lobby, their not very attentive, they don’t even smile or say thank you. When you ask something it feels that you have to wait in vain, like my family and friends dine it at 4pm and we still have a lot left over asking them to take out but never return to us, end up we can’t wait and left the food. Second, our first night dine in at the lobby, we asked chair and they give us broken chair good that we decided to change our table otherwise my daughter will fall from this broken chair, when we transfer to another table we ask Mark to clean but his kinda really unhappy, he even clean with a very wet towel that seems his not happy to do that I’d asked him to wipe it again and his not happy at all. Mark where the one who assisted us everytime we dine in and notice that his not happy and not so attentive.

Nice view comfortable room, delicious breakfast lots of variety.

The staff are helpful especially those in the dining area. There's a trio of musicians going around to the guests tables playing strings and singing traditional Filipino music and some requested songs. The view of Taal Volcano from the property is truly instagramable.. Request freshly squeezed juice from local pineapples and hot chocolate prepared from local cocoa. They are great. Book or request a room with a view of the volcano.

In the lakeview wing of the hotel, you have to first go up some stairs before you could access the lift to the rooms. Its not thst much of a climb though.

We had Taal Volcano view from our room. It looked spectacular! The dining room looked so lovely! Their singers at the dining area were amazing. The grounds outside looked magical at night with all the lights lit. I sprained my leg a couple of days earlier so I was limping. The staff were attentive and observant, trying to extend help all the time. They also sent a nurse up to check up on my leg.

The walls in between bedrooms were not sound proofed. Our neighbors were noisy, it sounded as if I was in the same room as them!

Taal Vista is a gem in Tagaytay and I’m glad I picked this hotel out of all the hotels in the area. It’s huge with beautiful gardens and breath taking views of Taal Volcano. I always love green spaces and this hotel did not disappoint. It’s also very rich in history and been there for almost 84 years. Shoutout to the hotel staff Fahad for assisting my grandmother move around in her wheelchair and for sharing bits of history with us about the hotel and volcano.

I love everything about the hotel but I just want to comment to include hair dryers in their rooms.

Everything was perfect, the staff were extremely friendly and every request we had from room service was adhered to and completed quickly (including the delivery of 10 plates spoons and forks!) as well as extra pillows, this hotel is outstanding. We booked a suite and two extra rooms for family staying as well and the views were amazing. Next time we’ll book a longer stay. Breakfast even had live music. It was all around Wonderful!!! Thank you for our perfect stay :)

The view of Taal Lake from the terrace of the Hotel. There is a nice gift shop inside the hotel. There were tradional shows in the restaurant produced by local citizens in the afternoon.

I didn't find anything interresting to do in the night, the malls close at 9:00 pm, only some small restaurants, bars, caffes were open in the night. The view of my room was showing the amusement park and only a part of the lake from a small angle.
