staff are really nice, kuya who is always wearing white shirt, sorry didnt get to know your name, who is always attentive to all the needs of the guest, observinf him from assissting feom checkins ro serving food to clearing up things. he is always on the go. to the staffs who serve food, really nice and always smiling. overall all the staffs are comendavble. 5 stars for all. and the food, hats off to the chef. we as a family love all the food served. rooms are clean and is a beach front. we as a family love all the staff and our stay in calypso

just really the part if the pool near the dining area. where we are told to ask the kids not to play around to much cos of splashing of water. cos hey they are kids and enjoying the pool and getting told to keep it down. but otherwise still love the place

One of the staffs mentioned during our check in that there are 2 breakfast meal for free and all of a sudden during check out they said that it's only free for 1 person only. Good thing I had a screenshot of our booking. I showed it to them and they rechecked it. Then they found out that the mentioned 2 meals are for free. They also said that there's free 2 bottle of water inside the room and in the end, it's not. It's not about the price of the meal or bottle of water or whatever, but the correct info. I suggest that staffs should be knowledgable enough about the rules of the resort and stop giving us wrong info. Anyhow, our overall stay is excellent. Thank u 😊.

The location-right on the beach; beautiful sea view from our balcony (we had the Koi room). The restaurant staff were all very attentive and all very well -trained with the utmost pleasant personalities! All were so polite and so prompt with the orders. The rooms were very clean with big bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. The beach lounge chairs/umbrellas were available for the guests. The pool is not very big but was always sparkling clean, although we did not really use the pool. There is also a sitting area next to the pool facing the ocean where guests could sit, have their meals and/or drinks! Our room came with free breakfast and it was adequate (the free breakfasts were mostly Filipino breakfast)! Free breakfasts also came with choice of coffee, juice or tea! There was nothing we did not like about this place 😊😊

It can get a bit noisy at night with the restaurant music going on till about 1100 at night tho this did not bother us at all and our room was right above the restaurant!

Our family room was large, comfirtable and clean, especially the bathroom. Although not advertised as sea view, we were delighted to have a glimpse of the ocean and palm trees over the rooftop. We loved the beach front restaurant and ate mist meals there. Prices were reasonable and it was tasty although service can be slow at peak times. Also appreciated the sun lounges. Get in early as they can be taken by other beach goers (not guests). Boracay has the cleanest beach snd clearest waters we have ever experienced. Highly recommended.

Water pressure on bathroom was a little weak. Would also appreciate some hooks in there for towels.

Staff were super accommodating and friendly. Our room was on their top floor and could only be accessed through narrow stairs. I thought i was going to struggle carrying my suitcase, but a nice Kuya carried it for me without me asking. The property is located at a narrow beachfront which makes it easy to get to. The property is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and shops which makes it feel super lively. They allow you to smoke on your own balcony too.

Nothing really. Calypso is amazing considering the location and affordability. If i had to whinge... maybe more beach/deck chairs?

Great view of the beach with an amazing restaurant with people that really enjoy their job serving you both morning and evening staff and they have live music while enjoying the sunset The hotel staff was also friendly and helpful but I went to Boracay to scuba dive and so I chose this place and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The dive instructors were all helpful and great but special thanks to Rowell for taking me on some amazing dives and instructing me through the advanced open water certification

The check-in process was a breeze, the staff, from the reception/front desk to the waiters at the resto to the cleaners are very warm and accommodating – we have not encountered a single staff that was rude or unfriendly. Also, the staff won’t bother you with “tour/activity recommendations” unless you ask for it. Hence, kudos to the management for having well-trained staff. The place was great as it was right in front of the beach so you won’t really have to “plan” when to go to swim or just sit by the ocean as you can go anytime you want – especially when you have kids. They even let you borrow and use their banigs/mats for free! The food at the restaurants were great and affordable – they actually have 2 right on the premises, one offers a complete and different array of food choices and the other one offers quick meals (e.g., tocilog, longsilog, lechonsilog and the like). There is live entertainment every day from the afternoon till late evening and the music was great – you can see/hear the performers from both restaurants. BTW, there is a pool right between the 2 restaurants where you can relax, dip and eat while listening to good music, perfect right! However, the pool is not temperature controlled and it would even be more perfect if it was (especially for those who have babies/toddlers). If you feel like eating somewhere else, there are a lot of restaurants nearby – the food hub (which is like a food court) is where fire dancers perform every evening (3 performances with the first one around 7:30pm and the last one at 10:30pm – if I remember it correctly). One last thing is that the Wi-Fi is great in the rooms and you can also request Wi-Fi access in the restaurants which signal reaches up to the beach so you can browse while sitting on the sand.

The rooms themselves were great – could just use a little more cleaning and I’d recommend some air fresheners too especially in the bathrooms but can’t really complain due to the fast turnover of guests I guess. Also, the hot water in our room was not as hot as I would’ve wanted. The hotel provides liquid soap and shampoo BTW and towels which you can bring with you to the beach. My recommendations for improvement would be: 1. Air fresheners in the rooms, esp. the bath rooms. 2. Hair dryer and a microwave would add more value to the guests 3. Dryer for the wet clothes or maybe even a clothesline to hang and dry our clothes would be great 4. Hot water in our room was not that hot as I would’ve wanted 5. Temperature control for the pool

The property is in a great location. Beachfront on station 2. All the main attractions in walking distance but with tricycles easily available close by if needed. The best part about the property though is easily the staff. They’re all so friendly and helpful and accommodating and really enhanced my trip to Boracay. I’ll definitely return to Boracay and when I do I’ll definitely stay at Calypso again

Location was perfect. Room overlooking the beach walk and the beach framed with palm trees. Sheer perfection. Very clean, restaurant great and food good and reasonably priced. Included breakfast was good. Good choices of local and international.

I also booked a room for my son and it was a cheaper room which had some problems getting the wifi although probably hampered by an older phone.

1. Bathroom towels could be upgraded 2. No control of it actually being hotel guests on the tanning beds on the beach 3. Provide, offer and organize activities for all guests and not only for divers. Have companies that hotel guests are referred to. This will avoid guests being scammed by locals.
