Absolutely loved being able to eat the included breakfast while looking into the ocean in the mornings. The restaurant also hosts dinner with a fantastic fire dance show that is super entertaining. There was also a nice pool but no one went in during the time we were there. The staff were also very accommodating and professional. I had a couple of issues in the room and they were very prompt in sending someone up to resolve it quickly. The location can't be beat too; centrally situated around shopping/restaurants and a comfortable distance away from the general nightlife (save for the little bar next door) so you can go out, enjoy yourselves, and come back to a clean room with AC + wifi after a long day.

Much like a lot of the older buildings in Boracay, there are no elevators so be prepared to make a vertical trek. After the solid 10 min walk from the street to the beach under the blazing heat dragging our suitcases behind us in an unpaved alleyway (no roads drop off at the hotel) it was arguably my least favorite aspect of the trip. I also booked an ocean view suite that turn out to be about 25% ocean, 75% the roof of one of their other buildings; it was a massive let down but if you scooted your chair aaaaaaaaaall the way to the corner on the balcony, you could see the picture they took to advertise the room.

The staff were incredible, the rooms were huge and everything was so clean and well looked after in the room. The location is 10/10. Best hotel I stayed in the entire time I was in the Philippines (out of 7). Oh and the restaurant and fire dancer shows were also SO GOOD. The staff at the restaurant were so kind and just fantastic service all round

The most friendly staff we’ve met in 100 countries. We felt like family. The room was modern and exceptionally clean. The food was great. We rarely eat at our hotel, we ate at Red Coconut every night.

The tide cycle made the beach small during the days of our stay. Certainly not a big deal or anything they could do about it.

The staff were really taking care of us the whole stay, the fire show and music were awesome and the location just made it dreamy.

Not being able to chill by the pool with a drink, no food or drinks allowed, and no long chairs by the pool, although they are available on the beach and the staff is really helpful in setting them up!

I loved the location of this hotel. It's located in Station 2, right on the beach, and steps to the D*Mall. There are also many restaurants along that stretch of the beach ⛱️. As well as spas, coffee shops, and places for casual dining. I enjoyed the nightly entertainment/ fire dance. And their 50% off cocktails 🍸 from 2-5 PM daily. They also have happy hour at 10:00 PM, where you can get 2 drinks for the price of one. My room was large, quiet, and the bed very comfortable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

I didn't like that there was no transportation right from the hotel. I had to walk about 15 minutes through D*Mall to get to the shuttle that drops you off from the boat jetty. And there is no lift or elevator, so this hotel may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

Very noisy till 11pm, so no chance of sleep before that. Plus had building work going on so could not rest in room during the day.

Location, location and location. It is very well located, just on the beach and close to city center also. Breakfast was good and though we didn't try much food the restaurant was overflowing every evening.

It is an old construction, with no lift. Bathrooms could be better.

the pool was very small and basically a decoration the place is very loud all the time as it's in a VERY central location and my room was on top of the hotel bar/restaurant that had late live shows they keep try to get paid extra for everything, like charging for espresso at a pre-paid breakfast

Perfect stay at Red Coconut! It’s right on the beach, they have the restaurant at your service, and happy hour starting at 12 noon (buy one, get one). Breakfast is great! Perfect options everyday, I would definitely get the breakfast option included in your booking. During our stay, we did not hear any construction noise as a lot of reviews said. Also, there is some noise from the fire show, but it’s nothing unusual, you can still sleep early if you want haha or enjoy your vacation. They also play great vibes of music, usually pacific reggae during the day, loved every second. Great workers as well, very friendly. I would 100% stay here again, perfect place for beach bums :)

Beds could be a little softer, but I’d still stay here again with no doubt. Perfect stay.

Everything about the property was great! The location was right on the beach and in the middle of everything you need: restaurants, nightlife, d*mall, and water sports. Our booking provided us with free breakfast during our stay with an assortment of food items from corned beef, pan de sal, and fried fish to bacon, eggs from their omelette station and, of course, coffee and juice. The staff was very welcoming in greeting all guests and making sure that they were well accommodated. If you’re doing a late check in like we did but don’t want to wander off too far for drinks & entertainment, you don’t need to! The restaurant/ bar is located right on the beach front and there’s entertainment every night including fire dancers! Our room was great! The AC was already on so the room was cooled walking in. Our balcony had a good view of the beach and entertainment downstairs. The patio was actually a good size with a small table, two chairs, and drying rack for your bathing suits/ trunks and beach towels. The wifi was also fast and reliable. We found robes in the closet, house slippers, an umbrella just in case it rained (it did), bathroom amenities like toothbrushes, shower cap, shampoo & conditioner, etc.. They also provided a small purse that you can use during your stay that is also available for purchase if you wanted to take it home with you as a souvenir/pasalubong. The hotel also provided us with beach towels so that’s one less thing to worry about! Check- in and check- out were also very easy! There were a mix of guests at the hotel during our stay from different parts of the world so don’t worry about being lost in translation.

There really wasn’t a lot to not like about the property in my opinion. Just note that there are no elevators. Pack accordingly. But, if you overpacked or have large luggage, the hotel staff will absolutely help you if you need them to. Because there are no elevators, I would suggest contacting the property in advanced to get you accommodations on the ground floor or even the second floor if you are traveling with much older folks. I would recommend this hotel for couples or friend groups. There isn’t much for kids inside the hotel but you can literally walk out of the hotel and be on the beach in one step.
