hotel is in a great location - surrounded by everything you need in just a couple steps; just a minute to the wonderful pristine beach; room sizes are fair considering that it's in a small island; my family stayed in 1 standard and 1 premier rooms. ACs working well, water heater in the premier room was excellent - separate shower room from toilet in premier room. unli drinking water from refilling stations. Reception & staff super excellent. Rooftop pool is great. No hassles during check-in and check-out. *great - they use e-trikes in the island

i was expecting more from a 5-star as advertised. Premier room doesn't have a microwave oven, 306 room door lock needs more tightening of screws to smoothly open/close. I need to request for dental kit, shaving kit, additional room slippers, additional towels, additional pillows (only a pillow for each guest was ready :) - considering that it's premier room). Top of closets needs to be dusted - i put my hat on top of the closet and it collected dusts (agiw). At a 5-star hotel i was expecting a buffet breakfast and not ala carte - add to that very minimal choices of food. Rooftop pool doesn't have a kiddie space. (I wasn't able to visit the gym). Need to install a lift

The best location where restaurants and shops are all walking distance. The rooms were very spacious and clean as well as the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a very short walk to the beach front which is really great. The air-conditioning and refrigerator was in great working condition.

The noise from the slamming of their hard to close doors, the band on the roof deck who often played past 10 p.m., the footsteps of the guests from the room above us, and the lack of PWD facilities like an elevator. The amenities were a bit sparse like only 1 teaspoon was provided for 2 cups in the room and no facial tissue was provided. Despite all these, we will still return to this hotel.

Location was amazing. Right at the heart of Boracay (D'mall/station 2), Tides is an excellent choice if you want to explore surrounding areas quickly. Even if you don't want to walk so far foe good food, Tides is within walking distance of high-rated restaurants and clubs. Rooms were big enough and relatively clean.

You'll need to bring some amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste but aside from that, you're fine. Our ref was leaking so we barely could use it (but we hardly found any reason to do so anyway). During our stay, power went out for about a few minutes in 2 day's time. So there's that.

The location. Pool is good.

-The water turned off while I was in the shower. -The phone can call other rooms.There was prank call from other guests in the middle of the night. -The music blaring at night. Rooms are not sound proof. -Doesnt do early checkin. Strictly 2:00pm.Even if you arrive at 1:30pm. -Extra pillows has payment.

The location of The Tides was amazing. Right in the Dmall and was central to all the shops, stalls, restaurants, bars and white beach. The staff were absolutely amazing especially our porter Abi. He fetched us from the port and travelled with us on the boat and onwards to the hotel. He certainly did a lot of heavy lifting with our 2 suitcases and stroller. The rest of the staff were warm and welcoming and accommodated us at every turn. I asked for 2 rooms to be located next to each other and they delivered. The bartenders and live musicians were great and so interactive. I’d definitely stay here again. The Tides really pays attention to the small details.

location is great, and convenient to food and shops and the beach itself. the place is clean and comfortable. the ones with veranda is well lit and spacious. value for money. staff are helpful and polite.

maintenance may need to be improved e.g. the bidet is leaking so theres a puddle accumulation in the toilet and water is wasted. the doors security features is good but because the door is not smoothly aligned and need to be fully closed in order to avoid the security alarm, often hotel guests needs to shut the door hard making a lot of loud banging sound within the hotel.

I loved the location right in D-Mall. It was very convenient to step out and go to the beach and the restaurants. The bed was wonderful.. made for a peaceful sleep. I like the environmental attributes of the hotel.. eg. no lift and communal water funtains for fresh water. The staff were very friendly shout out to Ann on the front desk. Everyone was truly into the wellbeing of the clients. The pool is amazing clean.

The rooftop bar doesnt reflect whats in the pictures.. Might have been because of the Typhoon that went through. None of the nice colourful seating was evident.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It is not beach front but it is a minute or two away from the beach. The happy hour at the rooftop was good and cheap. A lot of good food options around and near the hotel. It is also better to buy souvenirs near the hotel rather than the shops the are on the beach. The transport they arranged from the airport to the hotel and vice versa was smooth, I recommend getting transfer from them.

The price of coke in can is 140 pesos. I guess that is hotel price for you.

Staffs were really good and very accommodating. The two male life guards were really good and both offered life vest for my 6 year old daughter, which we declined because she knows how to swim. It just goes to show that they are concerned with their customers safety. Hallway was well maintained and kept dry.

We went to the pool one early morning and the female life guard on duty was not in her post, and was just talking to the bar personnel, somewhat 30 meters away from the pool. It didn't bother us that much because there was only us swimming that time. But then boy went in to swim and the female life guard went downstairs. I was concerned because what if something would have happened to that boy and no one was there, she came back 45mins later with some towels. It is very concerning that a kid could just walk to the pool unsupervised and no one was around.

Two things: 1) I love the location! It saves you bucks because you don’t always have to pay for a tricycle every time you want to visit the restaurants and bars in station 2. Best part — they have a partnership with one of the nice bars in station 2! 2) The staff is amazing. We also availed their service of airport pick up AND IT WAS THE BEST THING WE DID because we didn’t have a hard time getting to the place.
