The room was clean and comfortable, which made a great impression right away. One of the highlights for me was the cleanliness of the bathroom: fresh towels and a good selection of toiletries were all provided. Clean bed linens 👍 The staff was friendly and straightforward in their communication, which I appreciated. Their honest approach made check-in and any interactions smooth and pleasant.

First off, the view from our window wasn’t great – it overlooked a garbage area, and we actually saw groups of rats running around. That was definitely unpleasant and took away from the overall experience. Secondly, there was some confusion about breakfast prices for kids. The Scandic Gdańsk website says breakfast is free for children under 12, but the sign at the restaurant said only under 4. After a quick chat with the restaurant staff, we ended up just paying for two adults, and our 7-year-old got his breakfast for free, which was fair. Still, it would be great if the hotel made sure the information is consistent everywhere so guests don’t get mixed messages.

If you on a budget travel and solo travel, the location, the cleanness, the quietness during night, the breakfast are excellent. Although the room and bathroom looked too simple if you are expecting a nice warm setting. The ventilation was strong and noisy so I turned it off since the temperature was low at night, and it turned out being a nice sleep for me, with a small simple bed but warm bed linen. The following breakfast experience were outstanding when sitting next to windows facing the classical-style central railway station. Overall, I would recommend it for budget and average-standard travelers.

Breakfast was good, a lot things to choose from so I make us exited to eat something different every day. I ask for oat milk that was not available but next day was in the fridge so I was verry happy :) There was also more yogurts and others things I could try. The staff was very friendly and answer all questions I had. Room was ok, the view not great but we walk so much so it didn't matter and the end of day, when we came back to just sleep.

Bacon could be store differently, when was just change was great but when was left too long become hard as rock so was not really edible. Coffee is not strong, I had 5 shoots of expresso and still didn't taste as should. I ask to clean on Tuesday and everything was good, but we didn't get more sanitary bags - so it feel like someone forgot or didn't care to check.

The Hotel is a classic Scandic. Very nice and very essential. IKEA style. The position is unique just in front of the railway station 5 min walking. The strong point is the quality/price relation. This hotel is a very nice four star much more cheaper than the other in the same category (I am GENIUS customer). Last good pout the breakfast. For tourists coming from the south of Europe the “sweet” side of breakfast is important as well as the salted one. Scandic is taking care also of us with pancakes, croissants etc.

I didn’t find anything. Surely I will come back.

It may be the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The bed was very comfortable. It's in a great location for accessing both the city centre and public transport to go to other areas like Sopot.

It needs a card access system for the bedroom areas, as somebody can come from the street to the guest room areas without being noticed or stopped. TV channels don't work - there's a signal issue with the connection. It didn't have some modern features you would expect at a 4 star hotel like a coffee machine, smart TV or usb outlets. I would say it felt more like a 3 star hotel

The location was great. It was very close to the train station and about a 10 minute walk to the old town. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was very varied and good. The bed was comfortable, except for the one thin pillow. We requested 2 more pillows, and they were delivered immediately. Our bathroom sink was stopped up. We should have notified the reception, but we lived with it. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. There was a kettle in the room and a refrigerator.

The coffee in the reception was not free. It was inexpensive. However, most of the other hotels that offer coffee and tea offer if for free day and night.

This hotel is perfect, location is amazingly convenient, you are 15 minute walk away to Second World war museum, the tram, train,bus stop are right Infront of you. There are shopping malls and several supermarkets and restaurants in walking distance. Exceptionally clean hotel and rooms. We didn't have breakfast at hotel so I cannot comment on that. But overall we would definitely stay in this hotel if we came to Gdansk again.

Breakfast was very pricey I thought. Would have been convenient if it was reasonably priced. But not a big deal as you have Costa around the corner that opens at 7am and KFC Infront of hotel also serves breakfast from 5am.

Easy access, also for disabled, all was very clean. Not far from city centre, bus station and trains. For bus station, just need walk under the road maybe 5 minutes. The room was well laid out, has a kettle, tea and coffee and a small fridge, they also give 2 bottles of water. Although the hotel is not too far from the road, I didn't notice any traffic noise. If you come from the airport and want to use the bus, just follow the blue line from the terminal to the bus station but you will need buy a ticket from the machine. Touch the flag top right to change language and select your ticket, I bought 75 minute ticket for 4.80 zlote (about €1) but be careful, the ticket is just a small piece of paper, DON'T lose it or it is 172 zlote fine (about €30). Bus number 210 will take you near the hotel.

Great location, comfortable beds and room had everything needed for a short stay. Staff was friendly and was able to check us in already after 1pm when check-in time in the booking was 4pm.

Hair dryer worked for only a very short period of time, couldn't get my long hair fully dry before checkout. Also the scent of the bathroom products was quite strong and not the most pleasant for my taste. Very minor details, overall the room met expectations well. Also didn't love the fact that someone started blasting loud music in the morning around 9am disrupting our sleep.

everything that required from moment you enter foyer . Reception staff are excellent and helpful with directions and tram/bus numbers needed for a memorable time in the city . The rooms are big and plenty storage for our pair of suitcases the bed was comfortable bathroom was clean and plenty hot water at anytime there was bottled water provided for consummation . The bar area is well stocked with a variety of beers and spirits . The breakfast is pleasant and has its usual variations on last day we were leaving early and got a breakfast bag for us on our travels
