This one is a wowser! It even inspired me to bake and decorate Hotel cookies before I went there. I had great expectations before going there, I am not gonna to lie but the reality is even more amazing than I expected. Everything about that Hotel is so unreal from the decor to its restaurant. Food is absolutely great! Taste, presentation, breakfast, everything. Decor is so cool that it made me run around like a crazy rabbit taking pictures and videos of absolutely everything. This place is much more than a bed and breakfast as well. It has a sauna, bowling room with full bar area and striking decor. It also offers massage service and a free car park. Will use it as my family reunion place next year! Great base for Bochnia Salt Mine and the Wisnicz Castle during the day and girls to the right for SPA treatment and boys to the left for a bowling session in the evening finished with dinner and drinks. I mean, Perfect! You can get there by car or train to Rzezawa station (about 15zl, € 3.5, $4.0) and walk about 20 minutes or train to Bochnia (15zl) and then by Taxi (about 50zl (£10, € 12, $13).

I have really appreciated my stay at the hotel Kasztel. I wanted to stay in a hotel to relaxed and rest ; the hotel Kasztel met my expectations. I have a couple of highlights and shout-outs. Very welcoming, available, kind, outstanding members of staff ! Special thanks to Ela and Patrycja, they were very caring, attentive and discreet. I will remember the delicious meals and the excellence of the team. I really appreciated that the breakfast was included in the price and the restaurant was open from 10am to 10pm. Moreover, I enjoyed the SPA and the massage ! I felt very relaxed and taken care of. Finally, I loved the garden, the air conditioning in the room and the view from the balcony.

This is a great and interesting hotel. LOVE the artwork on the wall!!! Love the whole theme. Very cute and comfortable. Excellent and friendly service. Excellent and delicious food for both dinner and breakfast.

The beds were a little uncomfortable and small blankets. The drapes didn't cover the windows fully and for me there was too much light coming into the room from outside straight into my eyes. Wifi didn't work in this room also. There was no wifi reception in the room, but outside in the hallway, it worked. Despite these things which can definitely be improved on, I still highly recommend and would come back for sure.

Absolutely perfect yet again. This time I booked for my mum and her friend and the customer service I received was beyond exceptional and friendly. Everything was taken care of and i had no worries or problems at all. Alot of the bigger well known hotel chains could definitely learn alot from the staff at Hotel Kastel. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms amazing. Thank you again and I look forward to booking at Hotel Kasztel again. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had trouble getting to the hotel (the hotel's sign wasn't working and I couldn't find a driveway), so a helpful lady at the desk carefully guided me to the hotel's entrance. The restaurant's staff quickly provided a late dinner. The room was good enough for an overnight single stay. I very much liked having breakfast in the morning outside.

Mixed scents of smoke, old furniture, and tapestry in the corridors. The room could be cleaner.

A lawn chair that I sat in broke, I fell backwards and felt stiffness and soreness for a couple of days. A hairclip prevented my head from hitting the pavement. Staff said that they were sorry and hoping that I would be ok. They offered me an icepack. But there was no documentation done, no compensation offered. Serious situations could have arisen if this had happened to a person in poor health or a pregnant woman

A little quirky, but the rooms were fine and bar and garden area beautiful. Meal in the evening was great and overall, a good value for money hotel.

Some of bedroom furniture were tired, but I assume it was trying to fit into its setting/design.

The quirky style and location were great. Great value. The staff are very hardworking and polite. Breakfast was super. Big rooms. Very clean.

The noises of the bowling etc travel throughout the hotel. There needs better sound deadening. The echo is strong and doors are very loud. The rooms need coffee and tea facilities. Hopefully the main front door is locked at night but I’m not sure.

Very interesting decor throughout - like an old castle of sort, we couldn't resist to take pictures of some of the features ;-) Loved on site restaurant - faultless breakfast BUT an evening meal was of really great quality too - fried wild mushrooms ("rydz" in polish, I think it's "readhed" fungi in English ;-) ) and tartare beefsteak were to die for! Really liked out room with MASSIVE balcony.

Lack of lift between floors could be a bit problematic for less mobile travelers, did not bother us much as we were only on first floor, anything above first floor though could be a bit tricky for us ;-) As stated - hotel kindly fulfilled our request and room on first floor was just perfect.
