Restaurant Is a 5 star place. Hotel 3, so it makes it 4..;) Restaurant has excellent location and service and food!!! Hotel has small beautiful rooms but extremely uncomfortable beds. Cover on the bed is made of very wired fabric that made me question it cleanliness. Everything else was excellent.

Breakfast was not included We were asked to pay 75 Zloty for breakfast. We are not buffets people We go once to the buffet that’s all. It should be a menu 1. 2..3 a la card to pick from and not exceed 50zl. We went across the river and had excellent breakfast for 3 for 155 Zloty in Palac Widokowy. As far as I am concerned hotel lost 150zloty that day by not providing to people who don’t eat buffets for 75zl. We don’t pay for breakfast more than 15$ in USA ever.

We had a family room in the new building and it was fantastic. Two rooms joined by a door so the kids could have their own bathroom, and we could close the door for a bit privacy ☺️ We had dinner in the restaurant in the hotel and it was excellent. The schnitzel was perfekt as well as the carbonara. Breakfast had everything you’d want ☺️ Home made pancakes, perfect scrambled eggs, fresh bread and so much more! The sad thing was that we only booked one night. Had we know how great this place was we would have extended our stay in Torun one more night. Kids loved that there was a football field just 50m from the hotel 😛 Will definitely visit again

Very welcoming. The hotel was facing the old castle and in a beautiful location close to the river and the old town walls. A large room . comfortable bed and excellent bathroom with facilities and a great view. Front of house staff always very helpful. Breakfast exceptional with a wide variety of choice and great coffee. Restaurant staff always trying to please with offers of freshly cooked dishes to complement an already extensive buffet. A great start to every day!

I loved the location of the property, especially since the parking area is close by I also enjoyed how nice the facilities were and the layout of the room, it overall felt very cozy. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I disliked the noise outside in the middle of the night. During our stay, there were teenagers outside being extremely loud and obviously drunk, but also I didn’t notify the staff about the noise, I’m sure if I did, they would’ve handled it. Overall, the bed was decent, but the pillows weren’t as full as I would like and were pretty small compared to average pillows.

It is very well located, the new complex is fabulous, the bed and pillows are one of the best we enjoyed in our stay in Poland. The bathroom had an intelligent device that shows you the temperature, time, weather etc. Staff were super nice and a lot of them speak Spanish, it is very nice to hear your mother language spoken by other cultures. They welcome my dog in a unique way. Thank you!

Breakfast could have more fruit and veggie options. The bathroom could use an extra shelf to place our toiletries.

We stayed here as we were traveling across Poland as part of a larger road-trip. Given that Swindon is twinned with Torun we thought that we would check out what it's twin town was like. We chose Hotel 1231 as it was close to the castle and the old town. For a small additional fee you could book a parking place. We were exceptionally surprised with the hotel and town. It was actually one of the highlights of the road-trip. The rooms were good and the accompanying bar / restaurant was fantastic. The night we stayed here there was a (free) music event going on adjacent to the castle. This was a bonus addition to our stay. Torun seems to embrace it's heritage and felt a very safe place to walk around, even at midnight after the music event. Torun has plenty to see and Hotel 1231 is well situate to explore the town. It's tourist office could claim, "It's everything that Swindon isn't (in a good way)"

We stayed as couple with our toddler and couldn't have wished for a more perfect, warm and welcoming hotel which has lots of character and extremely pleasant staff. The location within the old town and only a few minutes stroll to all the historic sights and the Vistula river make this a perfect place to stay. Our room was lovely with a view of the ruins. l'd highly recommend this hotel without hesitation to any traveller to Torun who wishes authenticity and a hotel who truly cares for its patrons.

We stayed one night at the hotel and were highly impressed by the excellent service and the modern accommodations in the new section of the building. The location is exceptionally convenient and charming, as it is situated essentially within the historic Teutonic castle in Toruń. The hotel offers very convenient, secure parking just about a 2-minute walk away. We would definitely choose this hotel for our next stay in Toruń.

During my recent visit to Toruń, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel 1231. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly courteous and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms in the hotel were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing a perfect setting for relaxation. Additionally, the hotel’s unique location made it easy to explore the charming city of Toruń. A highlight of my stay was the food. The hotel’s restaurant offered a variety of delicious dishes that satisfied even my discerning palate. Each meal was prepared with utmost care and highlighted local flavors. Located n an excellent spot right on the edge of the old town making it very easy to walk and explore Torun. Was very easy to find we paid to park there which was an extra 95 PLT but was very convenient.

Staff were not so helpful on recommending restaurants and kept pushing the hotels. We chose one of our own accord right next door and the food was fantastic and is highly recommended.
