This little house is amazing, and so are the hosts! Communication for check in and check out was quick and easy, the lady that welcomed us doesn't speak much English but we had no issues of any sort and we all used Google translate. They have a private fenced parking but the area looked safe and quiet anyway. The house is small but clean, warm and cozy; kitchen well equipped with fridge, kettle and a little electric stove, and we also found some coffee and sugar, really appreciated. And very important for me and my partner as we have 4 cats, the house is pet friendly! The little fee they ask for each pet was very reasonable compared to the average fee we got asked around. WiFi was working well. If we ever come back to Warsaw we'll be happy to stay there again!

Honestly? For that price I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw. The room was nice and cosy. I was travelling alone but it could easily host two other people. The hosts were kind and informative with any questions that I had throughout my stay. Overall I'd easily give this place a 10/10 for a cheap, peaceful and comfortable stay and if I ever visit Warsaw again I'd definitely try to stay at Szmulson once again!

The room was warm and overall quite clean. While the owner didn't speak English we communicated just fine with Google translate and she was quick to respond to our messages. Our room had cutlery, cookware, plates and bowls as well as a small stove which came in handy considering we stayed there for almost 3 weeks.

Paper-thin walls which wasn't much of an issue for us but definitely not ideal for anyone with kids or who is affected by noise. There wasn't a whole lot in the area but it was close enough to the centre and there are convenience stores, supermarkets and bus stops in walking distance. WiFi was pretty bad but worked.

Good value for money. Basic cooking facilities. Decent amount of space for the price. Check in process was quite easy. Good parking on the streets.

Very noisy fridge. Lethal stairs up to the bed balcony. Photos in the listing are of several different rooms. Some are much nicer than others by the looks of things. Parking on the property didn't really make sense. Didn't end up using it.

A very good place for a short stay. Cozy room with all basic appliances needed. There is very great restaurants close to it. Free parking spaces are available next to the street, just need to look for a free one. Close to the tram stop.

The shower towels could be better quality, as well as the mattress. It was overall quiet, but during the night you could easily ear people snoring in other rooms - so keep in mind if you are a light sleeper.

We were expecting our flight during the Christmas holidays when the shops were closed and we had to cook some food in the room. It was very convenient that everything was at hand, a pot, a frying pan, dishes. There was also a comfortable temperature in the room, because outside it was minus 14. The bathroom was made very well. We were allowed to enter the apartment an hour earlier. Everything was without problems.

Super clean, access to everything was fairly easy, easy check-in. Lockbox easily available, no issues throughout the stay. Lovely to speak with the host about things, didn't have many concerns anyhow, however.

Small kitchen, probably not great for a long-term stay, a bit far from places to eat and buy groceries. However, not really huge issues for most!

The lady didn't speak English but she was very kind and helpful, we used a translator to talk. The bathroom, toilet, bedsheet and the room overall were clean and tidy. I could pay with card for parking (private parking in the yard). The room was warm. Free wifi is available. Dishes and kitchen utensils, fridge were clean.

The electric stove was in a worse state, took a long time to heat up. A pan and a small pot was provided but they were too small for 2 people.

A shower curtain in the bathroom and a wall mirror would be nice to have in the room. Other than that, everything was good 😊 Love how unique the stairs to the beds were but I find the design quite dangerous especially for those who are used to climbing regular looking stairs.

The room was very cozy. I was able to enjoy a cup of coffee watching YouTube on the TV. It was comfortable staying there, the owners provided me with towels and everything I needed.

The pillows tho were a little bit old and lumpy, so it would be a great thing replacing them to the new ones.
