Aljezur didn't have a 'proper' hotel for decades but the Vincentina has filled that void for several years now. This has made it possible to visit Aljezur when on our regular holidays in Portugal as we used to have a small house there many years ago, some fond memories. The hotel is well located and has (limited) out front parking and underground parking. It does have a quite decent pool area but obviously, we didn't use it in February. Rooms on the front have good views over the old town and the castle.

Poor insulation as in winter season the rooms are always well chill. However, air con features as heater also and it was needed. Prices have spiralled upward in recent years, even in low season. However, that's the story on much of the West Coast which is much more popular than in recent years. Layout of rooms a bit illogical and as with many hotels, you sometimes have to search for electricity sockets for chargers and the like.

A real pearl in the countryside! Perfect place for relax and chillout! Located in the heart of Aljezur, right by the main road, close to bus stop, restaurants and cafes, as well as the old town. Spacious rooms, very comfortable bed, equipped with everything you may need (hairdryer, coffee and tea set, small fridge etc.), very clean. I loved the big balcony! Very good breakfasts. Swimming pool is great advantage, especially on sunny days. If you need a place to stop for a while, take a breath and recharge batteries - that's a perfect spot!

Great location. Large room. Clean and warm and tea making facilities. Close to supermarket and restaurants. Breakfast was limited but sufficient. Great storage for bicycles. Early check in was good.

The hotel is dated and in need of some attention. No restaurant available. Downstairs rooms open onto a busy road and the balcony and outdoor furniture need work / replacing. The hotel is next to the multi storey car park for the supermarket so not a pretty view when having breakfast.

We had a large room with plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and warm. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They assisted to ensure we were satisfied- we appreciated that. This hotel is next to Intermarché so food, drinks and laundry was super close. It was a bit too cold to use the pool but it was a good size with ample patio space to sit and enjoy it. We had a couple nights here and it was relaxing and quiet. Good breakfast offered more than enough food.

Aljezur was short of hotel accommodation until the Vincentina opened. Not luxurious but is very functional, clean and parking is available out front (limited spaces) and on lower ground floor. Staff are excellent and very obliging. Breakfast is now an 'ask and you will be served' operation, plenty of choice too. Works much better than the previous self serve. Location is excellent, views of the town and the castle from many rooms. A decent pool area too but obviously not available out of season. Really good value out of season. An excellent restaurant (Varzea) about 50 metres away and a large supermarket too.

Finding something to dislike would be picky, ticks all the boxes for my wife and me.

We only spent one night here during our journey along the Rota Vicentina, which is a pity because the accommodation was amazing, and I would happily have stayed longer. The check-in process went smoothly, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room exceeded my expectations, it was quite spacious and well-equipped. The hotel is located right next to a large supermarket, which is convenient. Aljezur is a beautiful town. The breakfast in the morning was tasty. I have nothing to complain about; I would return for a longer stay.

Great location…. for a cycling trip. Very secure bike storage. Efficient staff. Unexpected room upgrade .. 🙂 Swimming pool, bar all very welcome. Good breakfast. Aljezur very pretty &’easy to walk around. Clean, spacious room & a kettle .. always a great addition! Good value.

All good. Possibly a little dated in layout . Would suggest less ‘small plastic’ like straws, small soap, small packs of butter/jam/honey etc .. just not necessary or environmentally aware - given the current climate.

The reception staff were especially helpful and went beyond their duty and also so friendly. My apologies only remember one of their name’s , The excellent breakfast , served by efficient helpful, friendly staff. Hard working ladies. The bedroom door open onto an outside space with a table & chair.

Full the size window not fully opening but then again next to a large supermarket & busy road, so I understand. I left the door open to the outside space.

Margarita booked us in even though we were early and was incredibly helpful booking a transfer for us and our bikes as the weather had deteriorated. She was so friendly and offered to translate with the driver if necessary. Lovely breakfast included with mixed fruit, scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, bread rolls and pastries. All the staff were very friendly. There’s a pool but we didn’t use . Short walk to lots of cafes, restaurants and large Intermarche supermarket very close. Locked room for our bikes. Opening window, air conditioning, bath with shower. Was great

Seriously, top service! The staff is friendly , helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We requested breakfast in the room, at arrival we could pick out from a menu what we would like to have the following morning, at 08:00am and seriously, exactly at 08:00 am we heard a knock on the door with exactly the things we requested! I mentioned my partner likes to eat from unused cutlery and they went and bought it for us specifically! I wanted fresh cheese but not goat cheese and they delivered that as well! I felt like a princess honestly. Everything we wanted or needed was taken care of without question. It took no longer than 5 minutes from the moment we arrived, to our room which was, very clean and spacious enough. Had a desk, clean bathroom, all we needed. I haven’t had such an amazing experience even in the best and expensive hotels or resorts. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Aljezur, close to all facilities, across the street is a pharmacy, honestly just amazing! 10/10 ⭐️
