Location was great. We were able to talk to the center of Aveiro in under 10 minutes, but felt like we were kilos away, which we like. The boat house was very nice and peaceful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and more than expected. I also like that they brought it to the house in the morning. I would recommend and stay again.

I would replace the mattress. It was not very comfortable. I would provide a wagon for the luggage, since the boat houses are a 4 minute walk from where you park your car.

Nice location, near the town centre, in a very unusual, beautiful environment. Nice breakfast. On sunny, warm days, you can use the boat-top terrace for some sunbathing.

Be aware of the mosquitoes. On hot days, the boat interior will also be very hot, so the use of air conditioning will be mandatory. The boat is actually in a very stable and fixed position; despite that, you will note some balance that may confuse you at first! But nothing much, and you'll get used to it!

The property is an amazing experience, boat houses are facing the sunset, the staff very friendly, cleanliness way above average. We went for the weekend, but the house has a complete kitchen, you can stay long with great comfort. The breakfast also impressed us in a very positive way. One last positive mention to the city of Aveiro, what a fun clean city to visit.

Only thing to improve is the path to the property.

The breakfast is delivered in the morning and because of that it is limited but delightful. If you are veggie remember to let them know.the boat was more spacious and more charming than expected and I loved being so close to nature. The journey into town was 5 mins and nor a problem. The bed and view superb.the bathroom facilities were fine for what they are and better than I expected. The nearby beach was inviting but too cold.

Just a hint to the owner….an extra shelf in the bathroom would be good and there is space. A booklet just saying how to turn cooker on where to leave keys if you leave early, would be helpful. More coffee pods for machine.

The concept is great! The place is spacious! Watching the sunset from the rooftop is incredible. The breakfast was great and had just the right amount of portions and variety.

The floor is very squeaky, so if you are sleeping and your friends are awake you can hear the movement clearly. It’s not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of.

The house boats were very cute with a wonderful top deck, perfect for a glass of wine in the sunshine. It had a well equipped kitchen and the daily breakfast deliveries were huge!

The water was very unpleasant, a bad sulphur/ brackish water smell that got worse as our stay increased. It also got quite hot at night after a warm day

Amazing location, loved the pool and flamingoes! Nice to be given a bottle of wine Fab breakfast

Showers were not good Kitchen poorly equipped, no corkscrew!

Location is great if you want to experience staying somewhere a bit different for a change it was also lovely and quiet

Windows needed cleaning, lots of small flies outside at night but to be expected given Where the location is

Loads of breakfast! Lovely lady serving in there ( limited English but we managed fine and wasn’t any hassle)

Entrance driving in with old buildings spoils the first thoughts of the place some nice trees/plants as you drive in would be great! The amount of spiders that were inside the accommodation when we got back from dinner on the second evening!! But I guess that comes with where it is. No sun loungers in the top decks as per the pictures when booking!

The Location, the landscape, the piece, the confort and the staff was very nice 🙂
