Arrival at the property was just right, plenty of places to park, really lovely staff who explain the area and a really nice room with a balcony overlooking the monastery (we upgraded to this). The rooms aren’t huge but are adequate. The whole hotel is beautifully presented, art & craft detail throughout by the owner. Breakfasts are everything you could want, including a g/f tray for one of us with bread, cake & cereal. The jams are very unusual - courgette, pineapple - made by the owner. The monastery is amazing. There are plenty of beaches about 30 mins away. The little shop at reception provided all my presents to take home! The lounge area has ice creams, drinks, all for sale and a comfortable seating area.

The rooms are a bit on the small side, but beautifully presented with a decent sized bed.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a hotel. The room, common areas and dining room were very clean - immaculate even. The room was small but very functional and nicely appointed. You could tell that the owners and staff take pride in taking good care of the hotel. There is an "honesty bar" with a great selection of drinks and snacks, open until 11pm or midnight. You write down what you selected and leave it on the front desk. They will charge you when you check out. The breakfast buffet was fresh and very tasty. Again, presented so well (with pride) and very well organized. Staff was very friendly and helpful. And we enjoyed the little gift shop with "made in Portugal" items. We would stay here again and recommend to friends in a heart beat!

We found this hotel by chance as we can’t get room in Leiria for the concert, but it turn out as a very nice surprise. We love everything about it, including the very helpful staff!! They also have honesty snack room with great (home made?) ice cream. All the decoration, crafts and food made with personal touch. They even help us with return taxi to go and back from the corcert. Love it!!

Nothing really, but maybe not for people who looks for city atmosphere. It was beautiful little town though

Funky split level hotel on the side of a hill, very near to the monastery, there is a lift to the ground floor which is at the base of the hill. Lovey room, friendly staff with excellent restaurant recommendation. Be aware there are two areas to park, the one by the reception only has 3 spaces, but there is a larger one at the base of the hill. There are indoor and outdoor pools, and a kid's play room.

Nothing of note. Only it's very dark walking from the street to the base of the hotel, a torch probably needed.

Absolutely perfect, every detail is designed with the guest's comfort in mind, starting with the signposts leading to the hotel. It's a family-run place, but it's managed every bit as professionally as big five-star hotels, it's spacious and squeaky clean, and still feels very homely. And the people are so lovely and attentive! The exterior swimming pool is large and clean, and the home-made jams for breakfast were fantastic!

First class hotel! Amazing interior, design, incredible staff and service! Paintings everywhere (owner is an artist), adorable souvenirs shop(with carefully selected quality items) stylish breakfast room with nutritious and appetizing food with a variety of options to choose from. Cleanliness is uncompromising. But what really captivated us was the breathtaking view from our terrace - Castle of Batalha just in front. We had just one night booked but we chose to extend our stay for an additional night. To summarize: a piece of art!

This beautiful hotel is in the perfect location — easy to access if you’re driving into town (as I was) but just steps away from the attractions once you’re ready to walk around. The entire property is immaculate, with stunning views and a great breakfast. I also loved the honor bar, which was well stocked with treats. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Batalha.

The front desk arrival situation was professional and friendly. Plenty of parking available. Our room was small, but sufficient with a great balcony with a view of the monastery. Great recommendations for local restaurants. Breakfast room was clean and pretty and had many delicious choices, self service style so no waiting necessary. Many spaces to enjoy not in your room - common areas for sitting, playing pool, reading, etc.

Very nice room, the view to the monastery especially in the evening or night is awesome. The breakfast is very good, with quality coffee and my wife loved the croissants :-) The staff team was very kind and helpful and recommended restaurants for dinner and other topics. There are a lot of restaurants in walking distance (10-15 min), we can recommend the Burro Velho. Also a supermarket (SPAR or Intermarchè) is not far away. Parking places directly on the hotel are not so much, but there is a parking lot directly nearby where it is no problem to get one place. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

This was a lovely, clean and comfortable family run hotel. It's clear that the owners take alot of pride in what they offer. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was lovely, the breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. There is even an area where they highlight the work of local artisans. The restaurant recommendation turned out to be one of the best meals we had during our 3 weeks in Portugal. Overall, the hotel made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Could not have asked for more.
