Nicely appointed unit - very comfy and bright. We didn't use the kitchen (other than the glasses for water and wine) but seemed to have all you might need to cook your own meals (stovetop but no real oven - only microwave) - plates, pots, pans, silverware, etc. Hotel reception person was very friendly and informative as to where to park, places to walk to for lunch, etc - even gave us a map of the immediate downtown area with some restaurant suggestions circled. Unit was very quiet at night. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and the 'buy one get one free' coupon we got at check-in. Many downtown restaurants are just a few minutes walk away over the river. The castle is about a 10-15 minute walk - and a good deal of uphill - easily done for those of normal health and ability. PRO TIP: I'd done my 'research' via Google Map satellite view and saw a 'fat spot' in the road directly in front of the hotel - presumably there to allow you to temporarily park while registering. Upon arrival that area was fenced off. The town was crawling with traffic and was stuffed full of already-parked cars. I happened to 'luck out' and find an on-street parking spot about 1/4 mile down the road from the hotel. But when you register you will learn that there is an underground parking garage on the same road as the hotel - just slightly NE of the hotel. This is where you will 'officially' park as a hotel guest (and free for hotel guests - they will validate the ticket you get upon entering so that you can exit for free) - the hotel elevator even goes directly down to this parking level. So when you arrive, just go directly to that underground lot and park there before you visit reception.

It looks like quite standard hotel - so you will not find a charm of Portugal. And the view is towards another building ans roof from the room. Breakfast could be changing at least a bit on daily basis as staying for 2 weeks and same food every day. Though I was ok, one of my daughters did not have what to eat, she was bringing her own bread to be able to make toasts.

The hotel has a very good price, location, and rooms. It is situated right in the city center. We stayed for one night. There is a garage under the hotel and a nice view of the city center and the old town. The man at the reception was very kind.

The reception area and breakfast room give the impression of a worn-out hotel. If you’re looking to relax away from the crowds, keep in mind that there’s a bar with loud music and lots of young people. To access the pool, you have to go through the rooftop bar.

It was like living in a small apartment. As I was alone, the kitchen had everything needed, you just had to buy the groceries (a supermaket was steps away across the river).

Not really dislike, but had to get used to the fact that the A/C was really for heating. I traveled on November and the weather was on the 60s during the day and 50s over the night. Since I'm from the tropic, I'm used to have A/C around the lows 70s. But this was solved by just opening one window about 8 inches. The curtains would just hide the window and the cool air from outside would make the room comfortable for me. Don't be discourage by the look from the outside, which needs a little update (flags needed to be changed, and some painting or washing of walls would help to the general look). There are several locals that are empty (waiting for tenants to rent), but I never felt unsecure from the surroundings, not there or any other place on Leiria.

The location is perfect, near everything you might need, 5min from the coach station which was good as we arrived there from Lisbon. The rooms are good and clean, we’ve stayed in the 8th floor and the views to the castle were stunning. Having a small kitchen is quite handy, we didn’t cook anything but there are pots, pans, plates and everything you need to cook a meal. We’re quite athletic so the fitness center was a major decision to book this hotel and it didn’t disappoint.

Nothing major, but a few things for improvement: The hotel is a bit outdated but it didn’t bother us, the breakfast is very simple: coffee/tea, bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese and small yogurt pots. I thought they’d have more Portuguese pastries & cakes, no fresh fruits too. We asked for a dental kit and the toothpaste was dry we couldn’t use it, I asked for another one and it turned out all kits were “dry”, maybe expired.

This hotel was a very nice surprise for us. While we were already expecting a larger room, this one was very well furnished and recently went thru renovation apparently. Staff was also very friendly at all times. While the breakfast is simple is is also very good and you can find everything you would want for a fresh start of your day.

Coffee quality was very low, maybe the machine needs a bit more cleaning too.

The hotel has a great location, very close to the city center and Leiria Castle. Also there is a skate park, kids playground, football ground and basketball court right in front of the hotel, so lots of activities are available if you're staying with the kids. The hotel has free underground parking and a great pool on the roof. The rooms are basically fully equipped apartments with kitchen and spacious rooms. On top of that there is a great breakfast available. We enjoyed staying there a lot, my kid was super happy with all the activities in the pool and playground, will definitely come once again.

I liked everything, the only thing is that sometimes the pool started to become less clean, which is understandable due to the amount of people who enjoy the stay in the hotel.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice that you could help yourself to as many times as you liked. Really lovely! The view from the top of the hotel by the pool was great of Leiria and the apartment was well kitted out and spacious. There was a supermarket just opposite which was extremely helpful and underground parking attached to the hotel. Could easily have stayed longer.

There were one or two stains on one of the bed's outside cover and not enough plugs generally.

The apartment was decently furnished and comfortable. Excellent free and convenient parking. Very friendly and helpful service.

The TV was defective but they replaced it almost immediately when told about it. The building seems to be undergoing some upgrades and refurbishment.

Breakfast was great, we had a two room suite, a bedroom and a combo living room, kitchen, dining room. The combo room had a closing sliding door and a couch that opened into a bed. In a few words: location, parking, breakfast, rooftop pool, large clean rooms all for $80.00 a night.
