This was, without a doubt, the best experience we've ever had in a B&B in Portugal. A genuinely pet-friendly place. Not only did we feel welcomed, but our dog was also treated like family and was able to roam around the property freely with her new friends. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Freshly baked cake and bread every morning, fresh coffee, croissants, yoghurt, fresh fruit with various seeds and so on... Domenico and Mirjam are a wonderful couple. They went out of their way to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The facilities, as well as the standard of service, were far superior to anything else we have thus seen in other similar establishments. This was definitely an experience to be repeated. Everything was perfect!

Dominico and Miriam welcome each guest with a huge smile on their faces. The immediate feeling of personal care is very appreciated. Not only is the entire B&B beautiful, it is spotless, everything is very clean, fresh and tidy, from the plush towels, comfy beds, to the rooms. The breakfast is lovely and you feel like you are being cared for by family. The many gardens are serene and peaceful for sitting or strolling. The place has many little nooks and comfy areas where you can spend time relaxing, reading, as well as the swimming pool with comfortable lounge beds. The 2 lower gardens have ponds and the more you explore, the better the gardens seem to get. There are tables and seats in the shade for gathering, having a bite to eat, or just watch the sunset. The dining area has indoor/outdoor areas with wines, beers, drinks on honour system throughout the day. Breakfast is very fresh and personal. Miriam will remember how you like your coffee and have it ready before you can sit down! Dominico is the resident chef and his breads are fantastic. They serve their homemade breads, delicious jams, fresh fruits, juices, yogurts, granolas, pastries and more delights. The fact that Vida-Vi is dog friendly is a huge plus. Our Corgi loves the grounds, there are bowls of water left out and many areas for comfort. It’s just really perfection personified and a healthy, mindful and serene place to base your Portuguese Silver Coast holiday.

the room was charming, comfortable bed, bathroom very clean. very relaxing setting with pool, ponds and lots of space. breakfast was well proportioned of juice, freshly baked bread, cheeses, yogurt with assorted diced fruit, latte, espresso, and even an egg omelette. made an instant connection with hosts and their three dogs.

Spectacular stay at Vida-Vi. Marvelous facilities and location complemented by the friendliest hosts we have met in a long time, this place is an absolute gem. Dog and vegetarian friendly, it’s an absolute haven. Beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was brand new and the space allows for mingling or privacy, whatever you prefer. Wifi across the compound is very stable and capable, video calls for work were no problem. Breakfast is a treat.

Kindness and simpathy of Domenico, Miriam and Nacho. Nice pool, good breakfast and amazing garden. A great place to relax, explore the countryside and the apple fields. Also close to the amazing beach of Foz do Arelho and the cute town of Alcobaça. The room and the bathroom are big, super confortable bed.

A fan would be very useful ( because of mosquitoes I had to sleep with the windows closed). Only that.

Breakfast could have more options. Natural orange juice, some homemade cakes and better fruit options or different type of breads.

Such an amazing experience in Vida-Vi! Domenico and Mirjam were so nice and kind for us. Definitly a place to visit and enjoy the calm of it
