Breakfast choice & quality. Large pool was usually quiet (many guests go to Lisbon). Overall standard including cleanliness. Nice bar area - several areas to sit by TV or away from TV, reasonably priced drinks. Location near Station and the square with fantastic range of quality restaurants.

Literally the only caution may be for those wanting a beach holiday - although the beach is an easy walk, it is at the far end and there are only few cafe/bars nearby on the beach, so for experience of a resort, Carcavelos may not be ideal as it is spread-out and the small centre is 20 minute walk away (past the naval fort headland).

The location of the property is excellent, there are lots of restaurants at the front of the hotel and there is also a shopping centre next door which is very handy. The hotel itself is very nice I had a junior suite which was a good size , balcony was also a good size with a nice sea view , the hotel is very clean and the beds were comfortable…. Overall the room was really nice … The gym was very basic but had everything you need. Great hotel would definitely stop again.

The reception staff were professional and helpful but not very friendly , to be fair they spoke good English. You had to pay to use the gym it’s a private company 10 euro or 2 people for 15 euro but on the plus side you got to use the spa facilities in that price. Spa is full of kids doing swimming lessons at weekends not relaxing. It’s in the basement so it felt very warm down there also.

The location is good. Close to the trainstation, close to the beach. All at walking distance. There's a small mall right next door and there are also quite a few restaurants in the neighborhood. The water bottles, coffee and tea are replaced every day. Breakfast is just perfect with enough choices. The spa was also nice with an inside pool (for colder/rainy days) and the massages we had were very good. Parking underneath the hotel was also a plus.

There are no outside chairs in the room (for the balcony). The chairs inside are not suitable for outside use. We had a huge balcony which would have been perfect to sit outside for a little bit having our morning coffee.

The property is in an excellent location, close to beach, close to lots of lovely restaurants and a shop was on the ground floor in the little shopping mall. Staff were friendly. Room was a great size, we had to connecting rooms, which worked very well for us, but the rooms are very dated inc the air con system. We were there for a week. Room was cleaned to a high standard but the hotel really needs to invest in its rooms and update them. Pool was good. Tennis court good but could do with repaid. Breakfast was ok.

Nice, large clean room and beds and pillows were good. Bathrooms well maintained and clean. Breakfast offered a good range of cooked, baked, cold buffet. Staff at reception very helpful. The hotel is attached to a nice little mall next door with a great Italian restaurant, supermarket and gift/clothes shops. Very easy walk to the sea and other restaurants.

Couldn’t get onto the guest WiFi in my bedroom but reception staff got me onto their meeting room network and my bedroom was close enough to pick up that network so was ok. 30-40 min drive into Lisbon, or take the train.

The behavior of the reception staff with one exception. Difficult to understand the smileless and non communicative staff in this kind of job. One of the receptionist (lady) upon our arrival 11/2 hour earlier than the checking in time was particularly rude when I asked in which room and floor we were planned to stay.

Friendly staff, good size pool, not too busy at peak times, good location to shops and restaurants nearby and close to the beach.

Decor is a little dated but not terrible, breakfast was good but very busy and staff seemed to struggle to keep up with number of guests - several times they ran out of food and had to wait for buffet to be replenished. The beds in particular were very uncomfortable and extremely hard.

It was our first time at the Hotel and we will definitely come back. Room beautiful with sea views, huge bed and very comfortable. Breakfast had loats of options and everything was very nice (not overcooked fried eggs!!! it was the best!!!) and the locations is perfect, the beach just there where you have loats of bars along the coast and its very close to Cascais for a night out. Ahhh, and the swimming pool really good! Super happy!! 100% recommended.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were professional, and attentive, which enhanced the overall experience. The rooms were clean and well-kept, reflecting a good standard of housekeeping. Breakfast was varied, fresh, and satisfying. Considering the quality of service and amenities offered, the pricing is reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

Breakfast is great . My only comment would be that it should start at 6am instead of 7am.

We had an early checkout and did not get to take advantage of the included breakfast . Property may want to consider opening earlier for early checkouts . Or at least have a breakfast station for some items and COFFEE!
