Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was beside apartment. This accommadation was great. A very clean spacious apartment. It had everything we needed to use. This was our first apartment on our holiday in Spain and Portugal. There was a great supermarket in castro marim. In hind sight we would have stocked up on small butter cubes and individual laundry washing powder sachets. Only place in Spain and Portugal we saw them! Had a nice big clothes rack. It was a nice location out in the countryside. When we were there in October, there weren't many other people around so very quite. Sadly this meant bar facilities at golf club were closed the days we were there. We went along to Tavira which was a great day trip in car. We also checked out the fort at castro marim which was interesting and had great veiws. Only 1 entrance so make sure you know where to head before you end up doing a lap of whole hill in the heat!!! We enjoyed using the pool. We had views overlooking the pool area through the pine trees. Very relaxing. We would return here.

Be aware no supplies of tea, coffee, laundry washing powder etc so bring your own or stock up before you get there.

the house was exactly like the pictures, very clean and comfortable. The pool is big and chairs were available the whole time. The house was very close to the pool, which was great. The site is very quiet, ideal to relax. The distance to the beach is manageable if you travel with a car.

The balcony in the back was open to the road - traveling with a pet (dog), it would be better to have some fence to prevent the dog from going out. There should have more kitchen supplies (dishes, glasses,...). We were advised to use the machine full, but it was usually not possible.

Well equipped house with alle necessary facilities - 4 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. It was surprisingly non-expensive for July in this region. We arrived late, but didn't have a problem with check-in and access to the house.

Far from everywhere, so you for sure need car. No breakfast option is available, so you need to think in advance what to eat in the morning.

Elegant house, functional and good taste in furniture. Swimming pool and jacuzzi in main bathroom. One private bathroom per bedroom. Very quiet, private, and relaxing (in October at least). Mosquito nets on every window keeps them outside. Fully equipped kitchen for any need. The main building provides a variety of food.

- Only reachable by car, even if it takes only 10 minutes to restaurant or supermarket. - Mosquitos won't give a rest outside. - would be nice to have some minimal detergents for the washing machines

We loved the quiet location and private entrance and personal parking space. The whole Villa was exceptionally clean and the kitchen was well equipped and spotless. It was a comfortable bed. The furniture was of good quality. Dog friendly and without additional charges. The was excellent Wi-Fi signal throughout accommodation.

The water pressure & water temperature in kitchen was very poor (but it was fine in the upstairs bathroom). Unfortunately we had a problem with the air conditioning units, which doubled as heating. The resort tried to fix it but it was a serious problem and they immediately offered us alternative accommodation which was very nice of them.

It was advertised shuttle's to beach it was sad not one The golfer bar did not always offer supper the little cafe by pool better and staff amazing

Like everything that I ticked. Villa lovely and spacious. Help from club excellent. They kindly showed us round a 3 bed villa with pool which we would be interested in for another holiday. I know the villa is equipped for 4 but you need cushions on the chair and sofa. Also twice the amount of cutlery. I don’t want to spend my time washing up!! Need items like a potato peeler. Have been to self catering for most of my holidays but need more basic supplies - bin liners, tea towel, kitchen roll, water, milk etc. our requested food package wasn’t there on arrival - v kind security chap went and got us some basics. Nothing I had requested was there the next day which we paid for. Flying from another country you do not want to arrive with nothing! Suggestion - have an out of hours phone number - our flight was delayed and I sent emails and left messages but of course office is closed. Poor chap waiting for us!

Outside Villa space cramped and could have done with a decent umbrella. Too much noise coming from pool which we overlooked. Went down there only once and stayed 10 mins! Screaming children and adults messing around. No chance of getting in the pool and feeling safe or any peace and quiet. Never had such a noisy pool before in all my years of travelling! Those adults sitting and reading not happy either and advised us to get headphones or earplugs! The area was quite full but not a free sunbed in sight. Would go back to Castro Marim but not anywhere near the pool! See above comments too.

The perfect place to rest between nature and the beach. The complex is very peaceful. Homes are very well equipped. Ideal place for families with children. Returning year after year.

This is our second time staying here and it is just lovely. We stayed in a three bed villa and while it is showing signs of aging a little, it’s still very comfortable has everything you need for your stay. The location is quite remote so a car is advisable.

This is my 4th visit to Castro Marim Golf and Country Club and that is only because of COVID otherwise it would have been more. My husband and I discovered it by accident in May 2017 whilst looking for cheaper and less busy courses in the Algarve. We always enjoy the course even though it is a little challenging.

I think the Villas could do with a little TLC after our last visit in December and the bath towels could be replaced but that would not deter me from visiting over and over again.
