Right at the entrance of Monte Gordo, within walking distance to the beach. Good breakfast with lots of options. The staff at the breakfast and the bar was very friendly and professional.

I didn't like that nobody told me the parking was payed on the night we arrived and the next day the receptionist wanted me to pay for the park. We had no way of knowing. I would like real coffee at breakfast, not some barley mix. The room bathroom light switch had a really intense glittering white light that kept us from falling asleep. An electric kettle in the room should be standard.

The staff were so friendly especially at the front desk. The room was very clean. the entertainment was good. Food was good.

I would not class this hotel as a 4 star as the room furniture was a bit tatty. It's good furniture but clearly very old. The bar is very expensive so the fact you cannot take your own drinks for when you want to chill in the room is a bit over the top.

Superb facilities, friendly staff, clean and comfortable bedroom. When i first arrived, i felt the food choice was going to be limited as only one vegetable (spinach) was provided with my first evening meal, however, the restaurant manager and chef then provided excellent healthy food for the rest of the week, with plenty of different vegetables, soup, salad, fruit, fish etc and responded promptly to my request and were very helpful. The swimming pool is not heated and although it is going to be cold in March, it's a great facility and well worth getting in. I managed 20 lengths each day and felt fantastic afterwards. Sauna, steam (ceiling tidying) and gym, a good bonus. Thank you

Welcome from receptionists who respect and honour any special requests we made. Close to numerous excellent restaurants and bars. A very short ferry/car trip over the border into Spain for a day trip.

Everything was excellent. Bus stop outside hotel and few minutes walk to restaurants and beach bars. I was delighted to stay in this very well appointed hotel and room serviced daily. Perfection for me.

The breakfast was very good. Location is excellent, not only is it by the main road to the beach, but the bus stop, where you can go to VRSA, Faro & Lisbon

The bed - too hard for me and the lock on the door was hard to lock

Could be better breakfast..,Also We were 50yrs married and my Birthday same day ,My husband phoned in advance asked if they could give me a little Surprise,Bowl fruit,flowers etc .They said no,,Would have bin realy Nice touch on such a big occasion

The whole feel of the place, and it's huge. I didn't realize the spa center was part of the price, two jacuzzi, one sauna and a steam room (the stream room ceiling tiles were partially hanging off that was quite worrying,but fab besides this) staff he was fantastic, very helpful and accommodating, breakfast was plentiful and pretty good, I asked if they had bananas as they put oranges out and he got me one, just can't fault it, the pool is open 24 hours but not heated BUT HUGE , lovely stay

Well set up with bars swimming pool and food all near to the rooms.

The bed room door was very stiff to open - this was corrected on my second day but not before I injured my wrist.
