The location right in front of the beach is quite good, allowing us to quickly enjoy the beach without need to travel by car or any transport. Our room was very clean and quite big, including a balcony with beach view. All the staff is friendly. The breakfast is quite, taking in consideration this is a 3 stars hotel.

The very high sound during the nigh coming from the beach bars. This is not directly related to the hotel but the windows and sound isolation can be improved. The price of a dinner in buffet per person in the hotel which is quite expensive (35€ per person) if you don't have the dinners included.

Location is excellent, right next to the beach. Private parking available, which was really helpful for us. The ladies from the reception were friendly and professional. Bonus points for Iulian, one of the staff members from the breakfast area, he was really nice and polite. The room was just like in the pictures, spacious and clean. Also, in the bathroom we had shower gel, shampoo, etc from "Rituals", which amazed us! The bed was comfy and large enough. Also, the ocean view from our balcony was amazing! The breakfast was quite good, with plenty of choices. We'll definitely come back!

The hotel itself seems a bit oldish overall, but this was not a big issue for us.

We were unable to get to the hotel on the first night booked and it was too late to cancel. I phoned the hotel to explain that our dog sitter had an accident and we were unable to make it on the day booked, we knew we had to pay so no problem. We managed to make alternative arrangements so managed to get to the hotel for 1 night. At reception we were met with a warm welcome and helpful gentleman who offered us evening meal as we had missed 1 nights stay. The bathroom has been refurbished to a modern, high standard. The bedroom was excellently decorated with modern light fittings, very clean and tidy. Whilst did not detract from our stay the furniture is a little dated. The bed was excellent and it's the best nights sleep I've had in weeks. The breakfast was really good, the breakfast room is lovely and light and airy and again the staff were all lovely. The location is superb for both the town and the beach. Definitely will stay again.

Room was a very good size and clean. Breakfast was very good although coffee machines were very slow. Location is excellent being next to the boardwalk for access onto the beach. Only a short walk to shops and restaurants.

Check in was only 4pm which we found was late compared to the average. However the check out was also late at 12 noon. Some of the corridors are a bit dark and the decor in them is a bit dated.

The hotel was wonderful, don’t ask for a bottle of water at breakfast as they will charge you !! My girlfriend was on a diet and only needed water. It is the original 1973 hotel for that area. The location isn’t great beaches are great if you like long ones!! Restaurants on the fronts amazing.

Staff a bit prescriptive, apparently it’s lost its family identity

Hotel was large, clean, nice bar, plenty of rooms for relaxing, breakfast was good. Excellent location Our two bedroom apartment was lovely.

It is a lot of money for the apartment. Included in that could have been some water in the rooms. The breakfast was nice, but perhaps more variety.

Very much liked the location, close to Vila Real de Sto Antonio, Tavira and right on the beach. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. The bar in the evenings has some entertainment which is nice. We has breakfast included and we enjoyed it very much.

We didn’t really like the mattress as we are used to a firm mattress. The bar entertainment would have been nice to have some dancing as it seemed a few people were interested in that.

Location was perfect, staff very friendly and approachable, breakfast was excellent plenty to choose from. Room was lovely and comfortable, cleaned everyday with fresh towels.

Bar only open from 5pm, maybe open in the afternoon for people to come back from shopping/sightseeing and chill with a beer. Happy hour 5-6, a little early.

Great location, pool, garden area, breakfast choices, easy access, free parking.

We should have asked for 2 single beds because the queen size mattress moves a lot when 1 person rolls over. It wasn't necessary to change all the towels every day either, but unless the towels were hanging outside the room service would change them all or re-hang them so you didn't know which one was yours.

Everything was good and well planned

When we went for a swim there were no sun beds or chairs available around the pool to put our things. Some people had used white plastic chairs between their sun beds to rest drinks or clothes on. This is May and not full season so maybe more sun beds or little plastic tables between beds.
