The room was clean. The breakfast was lovely. The bathing area and pool area were nice. Good location near the beach and restaurants.

The room that we stayed in didn’t look like the room I booked, it was a little more outdated. The pool would have been nicer if the roof cover was opened. The pool bar didn’t have all drinks available. The staff at reception on the first day were not very friendly.

We went at easter and i enjoyed the peace and quiet. Monte gordo seems to BE a place for health tourism, a lot of cycling and running, the other guests at the hotel were all só healthy...😬 The food was delicious, breakfast and dinners were great. For a three star hotel it is great. Some people comment on the decor but who Cares when the beds and pillows are só confortable and the bathroom is clean and works. We stayed for Four nights, we loved it

The outstanding feature for me was the complete professionalism of each and every member of staff at the Baía, working as a team to provide the absolute best experience for guests; I received the very best welcome and check in experience from an amazing young woman who was helpful and patient; every area of the hotel was spotlessly and thoroughly cleaned by the housekeepers; the restaurant ran like clockwork with delicious foods (breakfast) kept in plentiful supply by the kitchen staff in a restaurant kept in constant immaculate order by the waiting staff. The rooftop pool area was brilliant, clean, fresh and inviting. I was very impressed and hope to return.

I might have enjoyed an early morning swim before breakfast, but the pool doesn’t open until 10:00. I completely understand that service and cleaning of the pool has to be done, so it was a very minor niggle.

I hired a road bike worth €3000 and asked to leave it in the luggage room overnight (have done this numerous times in various countries without problem) but was told due to a change in policy no bikes were allowed in luggage room and I should place it in open air bike rack on the pavement across the road. Firstly a valuable bike left in the street overnight is unlike to be there in the morning and secondly the bike hire company had warned in must not be left on street and in event of theft I would be liable for €3000. Despite explaining this I was again referred to the bike rack across the street.

Everything, dinner, breakfast, very pleasant staff, always happy to help, and smiling (Ana on reception is an asset to the business.)

The hotel was close to the beach. The covered swimming pool on the roof was nice. The breakfast was nice. The lounge was very cozy. The style of the hotel was really nice, but a bit old. We stayed two nights and explored the Monte Gordo beach and restaurants.

The hotel is situated in Algarve next to thousands of orange trees. I don’t understand why serve artificial not good at all orange juice when you can put a machine that the guests can make it themselves, rather than serve something that’s not good at all. They serve fresh sliced oranges, but no fresh orange juice. It’s too bad.

Location is perfect. Breakfast is reasonable. Parking is free.

Stayed here several times and hope to stay there again. No real complaints but when are hotels going to accept that most people now need electric sockets for charging phones, tablets, etc. And not one socket hidden behind furniture and close to the floor. Baia bedrooms have a fuse box on a convenient wall where it would be a simple job to put an electric outlet and a small shelf.

The hotel is located in 1 minute walk from the beach. It's surrounded with the restaurants. They're 2 supermarkets nearby. Excellent sound insulation. We didn't hear a sound even though a hotel was full. Balcony doors are locked with the key, which gives it additional security. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and professional service. Will stay again!

Bathroom design, whilst fully functioning having the sink almost into your chest when trying to sit on the toilet is not great. No kettle, would benefit from having tea and coffee facility in rooms

Excellent cleaning service of room daily. Front desk reception very helpful and accommodating. Bartender friendly with wealth of local information.

The room is small but adequate. Do not expect to sit inside your room and lounge for much time. The off-season rate with breakfast included represents the above making the hotel a great value.
