We loved absolutely everything about Aethos Ericeira! The hotel is located right at the cliff in a remote area and offers absolutely stunning views over the Atlantic ocean and truly spectacular sunsets if the sky is clear. Indoors is very beautifully designed with a lot of lounge area, our room was clean, spacious and comfortable with a big bed and complimentary fruits and snacks as we arrived. The staff of the hotel is very polite, professional and we were treated with nothing but kindness throught our whole stay. Great and delicious breakfast selection and very interesting dinner menu at the ONDA restaurant. On top of everything, the hotel has an outdoor heated pool and a very cute spa area.

We have loved the location, spacious and beautiful room. All the people working at the hotel were extremely professional. Amazing breakfast, fantastic swimming pool, Sauna and SPA. Definitely a place to recommend and to return.

Unfortunately the restaurant of the hotel was overpriced. To charge an important price it is not a problem if the quality of the food corresponds to what you pay for. Furthermore, the wine was charged 4 to 5 times the price you can pay in a supermarket in Ericeira (the town near the hotel). Honestly, if I were Aethos I would review the prices....By the way the service at the restaurant was top notch !

A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Manager was very responsive to feedback and staff went the extra mile to attend to our needs, and give us the personal touch. This made for a five star experience. Food in the restaurant was delicious - particularly the fish soup - and breakfast buffet offered a good range of fresh produce (fruit, baked goods, fresh juices. charcuterie, cheese, cereals, yoghurt) and freshly cooked eggs. Other dishes were available at extra cost. The rooms were comfortable and immaculate, with beautiful view over the rugged coastline. We did a beautiful yoga / pilates class with Sophia and had relaxing massages with her twin sister! A dream team. There were some nice touches such as fresh fruit in the gym and in the lounge. On the last day we had complimentary pina coladas by the pool!

Any issues we had were ironed out quickly by an excellent manager. We appreciated this.

So serene, modern/newish decor and great service! A welcome drink when you arrive. Everyone working was very friendly and helpful. Amazing views as you walk around the property. I loved the sauna, cold plunge and steam room for free with an amazing view of the cliffs. The dinner at the restaurant was good as was their breakfast with a nice selection of baked goods, fruits, and fresh preserves. Definitely worth taking 1-2 day trip from Lisbon to see the Silver Coast where the World Surfing Championships take place.

It’s about 45-50 min from Lisbon but easy to get to via highway and Lyft/Uber. No public transport nearby and about 15 min from Ericeira. I wish there was a shuttle from the hotel to take people to Ericeira.

I wish there was a larger area in the hotel for walking the facilities were small I was expecting large places to sit toward the ocean the location is good viewing the ocean but you need a car to reach all the services for grocery or restaurants they just have one restaurant the variety of breakfast dishes was average

The staff was top tier. Margarita, the server in the dining room always gave us personalized and friendly service. She really did some next level things for us, which were memorable. When we were having cocktails on the balcony she thought we looked cold and she brought us out blankets.

The bed wasn't as good as I think it should be for this level of resort. It felt very hard and not luxurious. That was probably the only negative. Everything else was of very high quality.

Beautiful facilities and location, the sunset views from the hotel were amazing. It has a really relaxed yet luxurious feel as well as the staff being really friendly and helpful. The room was amazing with the most comfortable and enormous bed. The breakfast provided had so many options too. Also had the most relaxing massage at the spa on site, highly recommend! 10-15 minute drive from Ericeira and beaches.

We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and service was extremely slow which was disappointing as the food was great.

Beautiful hotel. Very secluded and the dream if you want to relax. Amazing hotel staff, people were so nice we really couldn't believe it. We were there with our 13m old baby and they had everything for her which made our trip unforgettable. They always accommodated when they could with drives with car seat to the beach, baby food, baby milk and so much more. We really were left speechless with their hospitality.

Absolutely loved stay at Aethos Ericeira! The hotel is stunning! Modern, stylish, and designed with so much attention to detail. The views of the ocean were breathtaking, and everything felt peaceful. The staff were really welcoming. The food and drinks were fantastic too. Perfect spot to relax and unwind. I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful place for a retreat weekend. This boutique hotel is located out of town, on a beautiful cliff next to the ocean, the first thing you feel when you feel when you arrive is a pleasant atmosphere. We were greeted at the entrance by the very kind staff, they were all super friendly and gave us recommendations on what to do & where to eat (Esplanada Furnas is a great restaurant that lets you experience the real taste of the see, I highly recommend it.) The rooms are spacious and very well designed, comfortable beds. There’s a pool too, so if it’s a warm day you can always enjoy & refresh yourself swimming. There is plenty of nature to see right outside of the hotel. If you are looking for a place that doesn’t have the loudness of the city, that is surrounded by beautiful nature and that it’s highly designed this is the place for you. I would definitely return.

everything was really great overall, the restaurant lacked a little bit of diversity in it´s menu and the food wasn´t something we really liked, it may be from our perspective.
