The vibes here were excellent. The staff and volunteers were extremely kind and helpful, going out of their way to do favors for the guests. The kitchen was small but well-equipped, there was ample outdoor and some indoor areas to hang out and chill. The location was perfect for me -- a 3-minute drive from Ericeira, far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to be able to drive there with no inconvenience (it helped to have a rental car). The hostel has surfboards to rent, delicious drinks and empanadas to buy, and a really lovely homey feeling. Thank you Mariana and everyone at Republica Surf House!!

The hostel is right next to a busy road that is loud from 6 am to 11 pm. With earplugs it wasn't a problem, but it's something to be aware of. Also the kitchen is small so sometimes it's hard to maneuver around with everyone who wants to cook.

The staff of the hostel is exceptionally nice and friendly. The hostel location is on the outskirts of Ericeira, with a view on the ocean and sunset. The closest surf spot is 25mn walk downhill. There is a nice garden behind the house to chill and grill. The breakfast option is affordable. Would recommend!

Our room in the ground floor corridor was pretty humid and noisy (close to staff bathroom and common kitchen)

The people were the best part, so nice and helpful! The little town was cute. The hostel is right next to a few restaurants and foodtrucks. The private room was very comfortable.

There was some noise from the cars as there is a big road outside. So did not sleep very long, but during the night it was nice and quiet

The owner and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Everything was super clean. The dorms were not crowded, only 3 to 4 beds per rooms, perfect! For a good price. Really enjoyed my time there.

We had a room with a private bathroom. The beds were very comfy, all was clean and the bathroom had lovely hot water. The shutters were great to sleep with too. The shared kitchen facilities were great. And the hosts and staff were very helpful, and good with English too. We had a short stay, but will return

The bathroom needs some repair work. A little far from Ericeira, so make sure you notice that. You need a taxi to get there.

Lovely friendly welcome from the volunteers.They made us feel right at home . Queen size bed with ensuite . Clean and tidy ,kitchen well equiped and space to eat breakfast in the dining room .Good private parking in front .

The people was amazing you can see how much effort they put in this hose everything is clean and tidy ocean view really worth it I’m recommend 🤙🏻🙏
