What a gem! This hotel was the perfect countryside escape. The garden is absolutely beautiful. Peaceful, full of flowers, and just a lovely place to relax. The view of Sintra and the castle from the property is so beautiful, like a postcard. Our room was super cozy, and the bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. We woke up feeling totally refreshed every morning. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. The staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming, always happy to help and full of great local tips for things to see and do. We’d go back in a heartbeat. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for a peaceful stay with charm, comfort, and amazing views.

Relaxed vibe - welcome respite from visiting palaces and driving in the Sintra one-way system. Great view of the hill and palaces, from a distance. Good, inexpensive breakfast. Good base from which to visit Mafra.

Slightly disconcerting not being able to lock the sliding door when using the quicker, convenient route to the pool - especially with no safe in room. Figured it was safe enough, odds were low of either of our two neighbors being villains. Locking the door and taking a one minute walk was always an option.

Room was nice and clean. Owners are super friendly, helpful and nice. Free parking inside the territory, just next to the villa. There is a breakfast for 11 € per person - scramble egg, cheese, butter, fresh bread, croissants and pastry, some fruits, fresh orange jus, basically all you need in the morning. Swimming pool was not heated, so no one was swimming, but a lot of people were tanning around and enjoying the stunning view. From villa is around 5-7 min drive to Sintra. We had short but good stay.

Will be good to have bottle of water in the room.

Great location (Sintra area has a micro-climate) tropical trees and flowers). Clean appartments, nice swimming pool area. Great staff and very helpful owners and management.

If location is fully booked with families and or couples it can be a bit noisy in the morning or late evening. Appartment Windows or front/balcony doors are close to other appartments. Its responsibility from visitors to take into account that there are other people around them enjoying the quite surrounding. Appartments can be above/below other appartement. This can be important to know.

André and Tina are amazing hosts! André shared countless useful tips that made our stay even better. The place is incredibly serene, a peaceful escape from the buzz of Sintra, yet just a quick five-minute drive brings you right back into the action. The view of the Sintra mountains from the garden is truly breathtaking, and the garden itself is a beautifully maintained tropical paradise. Our room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. If we return to Sintra, there's no doubt, we'll stay here again for sure!

Owners were really careful. The send in advance all the details, met us personaly, offered any help we needed. Very clean. There is some light specific smell of old historical furniture, but it's normal in this case. Very quiet and peaceful. Very beautiful land design. You can get a breakfast for 10 euros per person, but we took our own croissants and tea:) We brought candles with us, and it was very romantic. There are kettle, toaster, microwave in a room of upper standard level. There is also a soap and shower gel, towels, extra pillows, and extra blanket.

Maybe it would be nice to have some tea or coffee kit, but it's not a minus, just extra nice thing.

The location is absolutely beautiful! It’s just like the pictures, but even better! And the staff is the best. Super friendly and willing to help. You get the best recommendations for restaurants, parking, etc. The pool is great, the view is great and it’s so quiet, but so close to everything (by car). Our little boy loved the pool and the pond with all the frogs. You can ask for an additional breakfast, which is absolutely great and made by these super friendly lovely ladies. It’s home away from home. We’ll definitely come back!

Nothing, everything was great.

Everything about Quinta Verde Sintra is delightful! The rooms are tastefully decorated (and smell wonderful), the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The grounds are fantastic, with a view of the Pena Palace in the distance. Tina and Andre are committed to ensuring every need is met, and we had great conversations with both of them.

If the linens could include a wash cloth, that would be nice. We appreciate it's not common in Europe, though.

It was a perfect place to stay for my daughter and I to do our one day sightseeing in Sintra. Andre was super helpful and assisted us every step of the way; assisting with taxis, great restaurants, sightseeing recommendations … you name it … he did all!. Communication overall was great. The location is prefect and it is quiet. Parking is super easy and secure as well, which was very important to us.

Location: A great spot that’s convenient for visiting Sintra. Parking: parking is available on the property, making your visit stress-free. The room has a comfortable Bed. The bathroom is spacious. The owner sends us full tips on visiting Sintra castles.

The smell of reception when you first walk in. It would be great If the room had a coffee or hot weather machine(there is an option only in the breakfast area). Windows had condensation overnight. WiFi could be faster & stronger (there was a single but I didn't work well).
