Erina is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Nothing was too much to ask. Breakfast is very fairly priced and offers a great selection of good quality products ( the warm bread was delicious). The bed is very comfortable. Very useful to have codes instead of keys!! Perfect location. WiFi was stable and strong. The honesty bar is a life saver.

The room and bathroom were smaller than I thought, but given the type of building, they made excellent use of the space.

The staff is made of beautiful souls. Empathetic, warm and welcoming. Thanks for such a kind way of treating people and for your warm hospitality.

Nothing really. Maybe just one thing, in the morning (but it was already 9 a.m.) I was able to clearly hear people chatting in the hallway in front of our door as they were leaving the room and moving their luggage out. That wasn't a nuisance, but something to keep in mind if a perfectly soundproof space is what you're looking for. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place.

Super friendly helpful staff who kept our bags as we arrived early. Very welcoming and gave us lots of top tips of where to visit and options for eating out. Very handy for the the station. The breakfast had healthy options and good coffee. Great pumkin jam, fresh fruit, yogurt and local breads. Unhealthy options were avaible too. Beds were comfortable and the tv had netflixs and freeview options if you fancy a night in. Useful to have a hairdryer

The code for the bedroom door was a bit tricky but was fine once you got the knack

The location was very convenient for seeing the tourist attractions. Parking is not good at all but Mariana, our host, helped us find a safe place to park that was not too far for walking. Driving and parking in Sintra is not good, but we were forwarned of that. The breakfast was nice and the dining area is very pretty. We used the dining room (which has a little garden area as well as the main dining room) for a little impromptu anniversary celebration....brought our own libations and food and cleaned up when we departed that part of the property. The rooms are quite compact but manageable....a bit tight for one of the rooms that had two adults and one child. Mariana, the host, was very helpful with where to go, what to do, and making us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend The Green Chalet and would go back.

As I mentioned, the rooms and bathrooms are compact, but we organized things into the closet area and made it all work.

Excellent location- you can have a nice 20- minute walk to the historic centre of Sintra ; also, the house is only 10 minutes far from Portela station , which is very convenient to get to Rossio station in the heart of Lisbon. Our room and bathroom were sparkling clean and the whole house was tastefully furnished. The infrastructure of the neighbourhood is well developed- there are several restaurants, a market- Mercado Estefania, a small well stocked supermarket and a pharmacy.

We didn’t have breakfast because it was served at 9 am, a bit late for us. We went sightseeing very early to avoid the crowds.

The heated towels in the bathroom were excellent and surprising! The room was not big, but it was spotless and cosy. There was a big TV with Netflix, plugs close to the bed, and comfy accommodations.

Our room was on the ground floor, which was too close to the reception. You could hear every guest arriving, leaving and chatting. Also, the window had a direct view of the patio and breakfast room, so we needed to keep the window closed at all times.

The property is very clean, and was warm considering the cold weather outside. The staff was amazing and really kind. The location is perfect and it has several restaurants around it, for example a sushi restaurant and some typical Portuguese ones. It less than a 10 minute walk to the Sintra station and in general was amazing.

The water had a funny taste to it but the hotel sells water bottles, and the water for the shower was a bit tricky to regulate.

A very welcoming place for you to rest from your Sintra's adventures! The rooms are small (which we were already expecting), but they are comfortable: the bed is large, and the shower is excellent, and we were able to fit all of our stuff into the closet - even our luggage (2 cabin size trolleys). The breakfast was good, with a good variety of products taking into consideration this accommodation is not a Hotel, but the breakfast felt like one. The place was gorgeous as well, full of light and cute details. The staff was kind and helpful during our whole stay. It will certainly be our first choice on our next visit :)

The only thing to point out is that our WC air extractor was not working very well, because we had to use the dehumidifier (available in the room) after the shower, which was quite big for the bathroom size.

The room was very clean. Great bathroom. The Check in process was very smooth and host communication was great and they were extremely helpful! We had an evening flight and could store our bags. The whole accommodation was beautifully decorated. Would stay again!

The only minor downside was the ventilation - our room was on the ground floor and even though they had an air purifier, the room and bathroom got quite stuffy overnight. We opened the window for a bit but it didn’t feel comfortable sleeping with it open given the ground floor location. We went in February so it wasn’t too bad but in summer it might get too hot and humid

Lovely breakfast with a large variety of options. We also enjoyed the treats for purchase(at a reasonable price) in the common breakfast area. The staff very kindly went out of their way to accommodate my husbands dietary needs.

I found the hours that a staff member available for questions and check in/ check out quite limited compared with what we had experienced elsewhere. It seemed more like an airbnb in that regard, however, I needed to talk with someone to pay for our room. Our room was quite small.
