The top apartment #9 was a perfect size for my family of 5 (3 kids aged 10, 8, 7). Being on the top floor it was quiet. The bathroom was small, but sufficient. The shower had nice water pressure and hot water. You have to carry your bags up 3 flights of stairs, it also to be expected in Europe. The apartment itself is really cool, in a really old building, well decorated. Plenty of restaurants and a mini-mart just a few steps from location. Everything is close by and walking distance!! Perfectly situated.

Our only problem was parking. We got lucky and parked out front one day and left our car there. One day we left and weren’t able to get a spot and it was a problem. Research where to park your car as I didn’t and it ruined my sleep last night worried about my car.

Nice rooms, much bigger than expected, to be honest. From the photo, the design seems a bit too much, but in person the room was pleasant. Sintra is fairly small, so everything is nearby. We loved the location tho, we took a fast walk home each night, and the bar just outside was cute.

I'd say the only issue for us was with the bathtub; they constructed this kind of low brick fence around it to keep the water inside, but 1) there was no drainage, so the water just stayed there, and 2) it did not work properly, so the water went everywhere in case it spilled.

Beautiful place and safe. The antique furniture makes it super cool. The housekeepers were very helpful and nice. The room was big enough (I saw in another comment the rooms were small) - mine was big and the bed was large. And the bathroom was also pretty spacious. Very close to Quinta de Regaleiras and lots of stores/shops around the area. I needed help with my locker code and they were quick to text me right away to help me.

The tub didn’t have a drain stopper which is ok because I’m not a fan of baths but the shower is a bit different here so I can’t complain. It was just different. No air conditioner in my room. I was a bit sweaty at night:

The room is very beautiful. Comfortable huge bed. I traveled alone and felt like a princess. :-) The beginning of the trail to the castle of the Moors is truly magical.

Every night the neighbors above me walked around doing something. I don't know why they didn't sleep, it prevented me from getting enough sleep. There was no electric kettle in the room. If they had been there it would have made the trip much nicer, because the weather in Sintra is quite humid, hot tea or coffee in the room would have helped to warm up after a whole day in the rain.

Location good - worried first of the noise from the very busy road, but when the doors were closed to the terrace it was really quiet. It looked really nice inside.

There was not a glass to drink from in the room, not even one for the bathroom. The tiny terrace table had one leg shorter so was wonky. No fan to clear humidity for the shower in the bathroom, and leaving terrace door open to clear the damp brought in mosquitos. Nowhere to hang clothes and as I stand for a week, it would have been nice to have had a cleaner come in and just fill up loo roll, maybe give a new towel etc. Nowhere to leave luggage if you had a later flight and had to leave the room at 11am.

The staff is available until midnight and assists with any questions you may have via email, mail, and WhatsApp. The shower and hairdryer worked well (there was hot water), and the place was clean (we did not encounter any bed bugs).

For an overnight stay it's good, although it doesn't quite match the photos. However, considering the price it's acceptable so I have no complaints. There's no heating (which again is understandable for this price range). For LUX Charm in Sintra: We had difficulties accessing the room due to incorrect instructions on the ground floor (but we received guidance from the staff on how to resolve the issue).

Optimal location, easy walks to all the most popular locations, with a good view of the castle and the valley. The Room seemed small, but mainly just because of how large the Bed was. The decoration was kitchy but made us smile. We had no problems checking in. We felt very comfy and cozy.

A way to hold up the shower faucet would have been nice. and maybe a fridge. But aside from that, no complaints!

The location was perfectly located, directly in the center of Sintra. The access was very easy, simple and cool (code for the door, the key box) The pictures were very much as the reality. The bed was very comfortable and nice, but under it has some broken stuff. In the end, all good though for sleeping. Water pressure was amazing. Loved it. Hot water all the time. Hair dryer excellent. Heater in the room functioning perfectly. The design of the room is very cosy, intimate and nice. Overall, the balance between quality, price and location was perfect. I love the location in Sintra. Close to everything and walking distance with the bus stop literally outside the door. The decor was very enjoyable and the beds were very comfortable. Great water pressure, ample pillows, large very comfortable room. I was in room 5 and it had an amazing cross breeze with two dual paned windows. The staff was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here 👍🙏

I didn't mind this but just for your information, there's not an elevator/lift

Really nice location with great views. We stayed in room 10 ( family room) the room was quaint and cozy with really nice views over the old town

The coffee machine didn’t work and took my money. There was nowhere to get bottled water. A vending machine or honesty box for drinks would be nice.
