The place was beautiful. The surrounding area was beautiful. Had everything we needed. There were also cats on the property and they were the sweetest. I only have video of the actual apartment but the pictures are from on the property. Sorry.

Casas da Biquinha had everything we needed, it was very spacious, bright and airy. We are happy to walk everywhere so the location was perfect for us. The heating was very effective which was very welcome as it was cool and raining for part of our visit.
Unfortunately it was not permitted to leave bikes in the apartment as it is a house rule, there would have been plenty of room to do so but I guess it is an issue of leaving no dirt and no damage. Leaving the bikes locked to the fence at the entrance was not a secure option for us so we left them some distance away in the car. Our apartment, Regaliera, was lovely but would not be suitable for people with mobility issues, the bedroom and bathroom are accessed via a metal spiral staircase. If you are planning on self-catering make sure to buy supplies at a supermarket before arriving in Sintra. Despite saying the above, we loved the apartment and its location. Thank you.

The apartment was well equipped and very clean. In a great location to explore Sintra.
Sadly the whole apartment was very cold and we only had a very small electric heater, which had to be left on all day to warm up our bedroom. There were no other heaters in the apartment, in contacting the.owners, they explained that the electricity board does can not handle alot of power so they can not provide another heater. They provided us with an extra blanket which was welcomed. But sadly we couldn't get comfotable, we managed 3 nights and decided to leave early, thw following morning. We advised the owners, they offered us a free upgrade to another lovely much bigger room with heating and private bathroom but we had already decided and made arrangements to stay in Lisbon City Centre for the last two nights of our holiday.

We got the property for 4 people with terrace. The location is perfect just 2 mins from city centre. The street is peaceful and serene. I will warn you the property with terrace is downstairs (not difficult steps) but incase you have accessibility issues. It is spacious and very clean. A couple of things: 1) the heating could have been better but the staff were super super helpful and sweet and helped us by providing us with another blanket. 2) communication was brilliant- easy WhatsApp contact 3) they let us check in 3 hours earlier!!! Which was super helpful as I didn’t want to risk my laptop with a luggage storage company. 4) there is a very cute cat in the garden a big plus for me

we had the entire unit, with well-equipped kitchen. the unit is very close to the historic center of Sintra there was a nice patio, with a friendly cat (shame it rained the entire time we were in Sintra, so we could not use it) very responsive, helpful hosts
I chose this unit because it stated that it was ground floor, and so I thought there would be no steps... But Sintra being Sintra, to get to the ground floor you have to go down a series of steps. Plenty of steps even inside the unit, my husband fell on one (perhaps his clumsiness, not the fault of the apartment)

Place was clean, there was hot water coming from the shower and we were able to keep the place warm with the heater (in winter apartments are very cold here). The place is just few minutes walk from Sintra centre so the location is great. Though it's quite a hill so for older people it might be a bit rough, or if if you have lots of luggage. We got good instructions how to find the place and how to get in, since there wasn't any face to face interaction with the owners.
There wasn't double bed but two beds attached together. For that reason there were "hole" or line in between which was a little uncomfortable. The room is little tight as well but these are minor issues, especially when you compare the location and price.

The place exceeded my expectations. Everything was really great. My apartment (Superior Suite type) was located at Rua Gil Vicente number 20. The street is right in the middle of the old town, there are many restaurants, Sintra National Palace - 5 minutes walk, train station - 15 minutes, Sintra National Palace - bus stop from which you can go to Cabo da Roca or Palacio de Pena etc. is 8 minutes walk. I felt very safe there. As for the apartment - it was beautiful. It has a big, comfortable bed, a fireplace where you can light big candles for an even better atmosphere. :) And to my surprise the bedroom opens to a beautiful veranda (at the pictures below) where you can have breakfast or just relax with a cup of coffee. The bathroom is small but very clean and had everything I needed, a very good hairdryer included (with a diffuser :)) Shits and towels were super clean. Wi-fi is also ok. Check in and check out was convenient and easy. There is no stuff around but they are very helpful and responsive via whatsup. You can meet the cleaning crew who are also great. The view from my room and veranda was really great and there is also a garden where you can relax. At night the area is very peaceful. (at the pictures) I will definitely book this place if I come back to Sintra and recommend it to all my family and friends :). It is great for solo travelers and couples.
You can hear TV and conversations from the next room. But that's no inconvenience when you're looking at a truly unique experience in its entirety

Located in the middle of the historical town of Sintra, it’s perfect to explore the National Palace or other castles around. The apartment has generous space and well-equipped. Coffee and tea is included for the first day, which makes it very comfortable as well. Nice garden to relax and cats around if you like them. The apartment is very clean and nice! Very polite and helpful guidance by the owner. You’ll get a code to get the keys.
Parking is DIFFICULT! Not possible to enter or leave the historic part of Sintra (where the flat is located) between 8 am and 7 pm. Free parking in 5 minutes walking distance, but hard to get a place. Furthermore, terrible traffic in the city. Bed mattress is very hard.

Lovely and super comfortable, central to the older area, a 5 minute walk. Visits by a friendly cat. I would stay here again!
they are a lot of blocked off streets in Sintra and this is on one of them. We didn’t find out until right before our trip and one of our group has trouble with stairs, so that caused some challenges. you can come really close in cans and ubers but it’s kind of unclear where exactly. maybe a little map or something so we don’t have to figure it out on our own. Also honestly did not need a car here at all, it’s walkable and tons of cabs, tuktuks ,and buses.

Very well-appointed, secure, self-contained unit within a 5-minute walk of the historic centre of Sintra and about a 15-minute walk to the train station. The unit is very clean and we liked that they promote recycling in the unit; the public bins for disposing the recycling aren't far away. Even though there are several units like ours in the vicinity, the neighbourhood is very quiet. There is a private, quiet, grassy sitting area and a patio for outdoor space. Even in a contactless environment, the host responded quickly to WhatsApp questions and requests. We especially appreciated their ability to accommodate an additional last-minute room request.
Outdoor lighting and a handrail. You need to negotiate 2 sets of stairs to get from street-level to the unit. There is a streetlight that illuminates the area but doesn't completely light up the stair areas. Our unit had a motion-activated light above the door which needed to be switched on to work. I believe that the upper units have the same lights but if they're not turned on, the only light you have is from the streetlight which is not enough at night. Also, the upper staircase has a pony wall the top of which you can use to guide you but the lower staircase does not; may not be a code violation but having a rail to hold on would be a safer for guests, especially on a dark and rainy night.
