The room was charming, comfortable, and very clean. The staff is extraordinary.

The shower is difficult to manage, the bathroom is really tiny. A large person would have difficulty maneuvering it. And there is a regular sewer smell that, at times, got pretty intense. Also, the room I was in was on the the third floor, and there is no elevator. While Sintra itself is not good for disabled people, so this might not be an issue for most visitors, this is a challenge with heavy luggage. Granted, the staff helped with the luggage, but it was a issue that detracted from the stay.

The hotel is in a great location. The hotel provided directions which appeared to be a little tricky (the street is very narrow; car traffic is very controlled). We arrived by Uber, the driver didn't speak English so I called the hotel and was able to hand my phone to the driver who was given precise instructions. The hotel room is sparse but comfortable, especially the bed. The shower provided abundant hot water. The complimentary breakfast was lovely, the community table was attractively set and inviting. The staff went out of their way to be hospitable and accommodating.

This is not a complaint, but people with mobility issues should be aware the short walk to the entrance is on an incline.

Very central to all the tourist attractions. The biggest bed I have ever seen - comfortable. Room (Dao) and bathroom very good.

We had our car and although there is a few parking spaces; one is not allowed to drive in that street certain hours. Only residents and official businesses. Parking on the streets around it is very expensive and 4 hours at a time. If you are lucky enough to find one! Entrance to parking at accommodation is extremely narrow and at a very difficult angle. We had to turn the car 180 degrees in a one way road (single lane)

Location in town, walk to Quinta de Regaleira. We had a spacious, airy blue room (Vinhos Verdes) on ground floor with a little balcony. Superb Italian restaurant Fatto, right below the building

The driving direction said to look out for a narrow ramp on the left when it's on the right, right after Fatto restaurant. So we missed it and it's a one-way street. Directions should be corrected. Warning! The ramp is barely enough for a car and turns in a sharp angle from main street.

Sintra was absolutely amazing, little magical place. Casa do Vinho Guest House had an excellent location near the mountains in old town. Amazing view from the window. Fresh air in the room. The hostess was incrediply nice and a really heartfull person, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We'll miss her. We wished we had more time to spent here and in Sintra. Beautiful room and bathroom. There was some electrical problems so the second night we didn't have light anywhere but in bathroom and TV didn't work, also water in the shower was cold because of it also - it was pleasantly warm before. But it wasn't Guest house's fault and it didn't spoil our stay. We would certainly stay here again! Also, excellent pizza from the restaurant downstairs. There was also a good breakfast available in a near by hotel if one is in a need for that.

Great location as far as proximity to the historical area of Sintra but because of the great location, it was also a little noisy (due to other occupants and the property being older). The suite was spacious and accommodating. I especially liked the AC in the main bedroom, the fan, and the great shower pressure. The host was extremely helpful in answering any questions and offering to store luggage if needed.

Noisyish (see above) and also the drains in the bathroom smelled which unfortunately made the entire apartment smell (however we quickly got used to it).

Location, cleanliness of room and overall ambiance of the place. The vibe is a feeling of being comfortable!

We thought the breakfast was included in the booking, but it was not, the staff insisted! Anyway, looking at the breakfast spread, we did not feel it was worth the value for e$13,00. You can even make the breakfast complimentary of coffee/tea + toast and cereals, that will be well-appreciated by the guests.

We traveled to Sintra with our 2 dogs during Christmas time. Dulce, the attendant, was very kind and accommodating. The location is perfect if you want to walk to the historic town center. We already booked a second trip to stay here while in Sintra in the Summer! Fatto is downstairs and serves delicious lunch and dinner.

The only thing to improve was the shower head stand in the vinho verde room. Bring slippers to wear in the rooms. Everything else was perfect!

Very central easily accessible to the centre of Sintra. Clean rooms friendly staff.

Be sure to ask the staff for a QR code to send to your uber/bolt/taxi driver since that road is not accessible during the certain times and ubers WILL CANCEL on you without the knowledge you have that code to cut through the main streets.

Parking is challenging (fortunately we found a spot nearby to leave our car and took the bus around). Bathroom had a smell. You need to be ok with stairs (we were on the 3rd floor).
