The backyard, pool and living areas are nice and allow for lots of options to relax.

Kitchen didn’t feel very clean, some food left out with bugs. Had one night where the power went out but our room was open so the emergency light and alarm going off until nearly 3am was pretty rough I understand it wasn’t their problem but the experience with the staff to resolve it was quite odd. Someone had to go and knock to wake them up and after a while she came but was a bit rude and clearly annoyed. A few people were just quite confused and nothing was communicated or quickly resolved.

I really liked the house itself, as it's so cozy and thus creates a beautiful atmosphere, it's sweet decorated and many couches and the garden to relax. Also it's very sociable, I met some really wonderful people here and enjoyed the awesome breakfast in the garden together. I would stay here again but only in a private, as the dorm room is too overpriced for what you get!

The dorm ist really small and cramped. There are triplet bunk bed's - the room should really only be for 4 instead of 6 people! I payed way too much money for this small room and the mattress felt really uncomfortable :(

Everything was great at Olive3. The place is a little gem in the city center of Ericeira with a beautiful garden and a small pool. The kitchen is well-equipped and big enough to cook with several people at the same time. The free breakfast had many options. The bed was very comfortable, there were enough bathrooms for everyone. I loved the yoga shala open the whole day + they also offer daily yoga classes if enough people sign up. Overall, if you are looking for a chill hostel with a friendly vibe, this is your place. I will definitely come back !

The only thing I've missed was a little shelf or cupboard to put my clothes somewhere in the bedroom

Staff: super friendly and helpful. They make you feel like part of a community. Super laid back vibes. Facilities: the yoga room was very well equipped. The swimming pool was a great addition to the beautiful garden that they have. Activities: the staff helps you if you want to go surfing or get a massage.

Garden: I loved chilling in the garden, it was so serene but it would have been nicer if the garden was better kept. If there was a nicer landscape and maybe even getting a gardener to tend to it and make it more scenic. WiFi: WiFi connection was only available for me in the room.

Beautiful outdoor property. It was a cold and rainy while I visited so no one could enjoy the outdoor space. The indoor communal space is limited and not so conducive to hangout as much—-so if tht weather was better I think I would have truly loved it. If I even return when it’s nice weather I’d chose here just for the property. Nothing like it! Even though eceira feel very safe , I also felt all our rooms and valuables were safe. There are key fobs needed for all exits and entrances which is important especially while in middle of town!

It’s an old house so it can be creepy/loud at times. I think it may be a bit overpriced for semi private due to this…but the location and outdoor space (when in season) makes up for it I suppose. The yoga space looks great too!

Clean and spacious bathroom for shared rooms. I stayed in the upstairs shared room (single beds, not bunks) which lacked privacy but was clean. I was concerned about reviews that mentioned bed bugs before my stay— but thankfully this was not an issue for me (and I looked!).

Pillow was paper thin. No privacy in upstairs shared room. Pool not really for use since it didn’t seem that clean.

I love Olive3 hostel. It is the perfect base to explore Ericeira. Simple but stylish rooms, shared bathrooms with powerful showers but I rarely saw another person in the bathrooms even in the height of summer and they are also beautifully decorated. The best part is the spacious peaceful garden with mature shady trees, plenty of seating options and also a small pool. I’ve stayed here before a few years ago and I’m so happy to see that the lovely owners have retained the calm, relaxed and elegant vibe. Breakfast is great, location is great, love the yoga studio that is free for guests to use so long as there is no class. Also, special mention to the lovely volunteers you have hired this season - everyone one of them was kind, chatty and open and made you feel welcome. I’m sure I will be back soon!

Very warm welcome during check-in (a lovely Belgian girl whose name I didn’t get). Spacious room with everything we needed. Nice garden and pool though we didn’t have time to use it!

Breakfast was pretty mediocre, not helped by the rather cold staff member which was a big contrast from the person who did our check in. Horrible plastic mattress protector that was hot and noisy and made us feel like toddlers.

Amazing hostel, one of the best I've ever stayed at. It has such a chill vibe and it's really easy to meet people. Location is perfect. The free breakfast is great. I stayed in the dorm with single beds (not bunks) and I loved this; so much comfier than bunk beds. Really cosy at-home feel. I would definitely come back and I would recommend it to anyone (either for a short or long stay).

I really want to thank you for the hospitality. Especially to Teresa that was the first impression that we have, she was very kind with us. The spot is too cute the little garden, I'm too curious to see it on summer days. We also love the yoga studio, it is enormous!!! Definitely a chill vibe that we love! We recommend!
