This is definitely a good option for those interested in visiting Estremoz and the nearby areas. The hotel is not modern but is comfortable (the beds are comfortable, and the AC works fine), well-organized, and simply yet nicely decorated. What we liked the most was the outside area near the pool. The shaded area with sunbeds is great — the hotel's solution for providing shade is much better than individual umbrellas. Additionally, near the pool, there is a bar, a snooker table, a ping pong table, and board games, which is fantastic. The pool is small for the number of rooms the hotel has, which can be an issue during weekends, especially in the afternoons. However, it is not a problem during weekdays, even in the summer (from our experience, late July). On Fridays, there is a sunset party with a DJ, which creates a great atmosphere. The staff is also friendly. Something that I particularly liked was how truly pet-friendly the hotel is. Our dog could stay in the shade with us near the pool and walk in every space of the hotel, which is not always the case elsewhere. Additionally, the price you pay for your pet includes a kit that provides a bed, two bowls for food and water, and a snack.

Given that the hotel is not a modern or recent building, it can get noisy in the rooms because the windows and the doors do not seem to be acoustically insulated. This was especially noticeable in our stay because our room was right above the reception/entrance. In this case, we often heard other guests through the windows and the door in the middle of the night. Another area for improvement is breakfast. As is common in many low-budget stays, it remains the same every day. It would be nice to see some new products and items for more variety. Nevertheless, I was pleasantly surprised to find that both lactose-free milk and yogurt, as well as soy milk, were available.

The staff were absolutely fabulous and accommodating in every possible way! The night manager even offered her own personal Netflix code for our group of teens to watch movies in the main lounge. I also noticed that the 2 duty managers were super diligent in their work: from reception work, to making toasties at the bar, to starting up the fireplace, to vacuuming the floors, to preparing the breakfast room - these 2 girls did it all! I too work in hospitality and the ownership showed by the staff was exceptional!

This is a very pleasant roadside hotel situated less than 5 minutes’ drive from the charming town of Estremoz (we arrived on the Friday to enjoy the eclectic Saturday morning Estremoz market). As well as more than acceptable rooms, the public areas are spacious and comfortable, including an outdoor shaded patio adjacent to both a fine pool and an inexpensive café-bar. A good buffet breakfast is also provided. Additionally, for the level of quality, this hotel represents excellent value for money.

Breakfast was great with good variety of food. The best Croissants I've had in quite a long time. Free parking is available. Hotel's location is very good only about 10 minutes to the heart of the City and Castle. btw: Estremoz is a very nice City, well kept and looking very well, worth the visit.

Mattress a bit too firm to our liking, however pillows offered were very good in comfort and size.

No restaurant open ....after a long day driving ...having to get back into the car again to find somewhere to eat . No provision at all

It was very calm on Sunday, the bedroom is incredibly spacious, we enjoyed the pool, playing ping pong and billiards!

Some parts of the hotel weren't very clean, like the outside fake grass and the carpet in the room also had a stain.

It looks like the hotel will be amazing once it's finished the renovation work. It was comfortable and good value and the breakfast was very nice. The staff spoke English and there was plenty of parking.

Due to the renovation work, the restaurant was closed, and the nearest Town was a mile or so down the road. They advised us not to walk, so we drove. Apart from that, I'd visit again. There were no complimentary bottles of water, or chocolates, like we'd received at cheaper, previous hotels.

The outdoors is ver pleasant and sunny pool, very close to the main road! Staff very friendly and helpful! Nice breakfast, not super fancy but good food.

Friday night there were no parking outside and I had to park at the garage, next morning when went down the light just turned on once I arrive to main gate, had to turn the phone torch on to find my car

The only WHISKY on the dinner menu was a disgrace to the name. With over 500 Scottish whiskies available, why not make available a few Speyside Malts!! (At least the menu got the spelling correct)
