Quinta do Santo is the best of both worlds: it has the charm of a small, farmhouse bed and breakfast, with spacious rooms, lovely gardens and quiet nights, while being supported by all the infrastructure of the neighboring hotel (spa, restaurants, plentiful staff, etc). We may have lucked out to not have many other guests around, but our stay was lovely.

It's not without growing pains: sound-proofing could use some improvement, the fire alarm went off randomly one afternoon and took a while to get sorted (maintenance staff are usually stationed in the main hotel), and there were some communication issues here and there. Nothing that would make us think twice about going back. You do need a car to go from the main hotel to the Quinta, though. We did, and it was fine, but the integration between the two places could perhaps use some more thought.

The atmosphere, the rooms, the service (esp Jessica who took care of us during dinner and breakfast), the beautiful compound, the view of olive trees and little orange/lemon orchard, the restaurant. Food was superb!

The location was amazing. The hotel overlooks the Convento do Espinheiro and it's an absolutely beautiful view. This hotel only has a few rooms, so it was beautifully quiet and private. Everyone was insanely nice, and we felt so welcome.

The hotel is located around 10 minutes walk to the main hotel (Convento do Espinheiro) where all the extra facilities are located (e.g. spa, two restaurants, main pool with bar, etc). It was around 38ºC when we were there, and the room doesn't have any AC, so it was very difficult to manage the heat.

Our stay at Quinta do Santo exceeded our expectations by far. It is a farm which had been recently refurbished and the rooms are just beautiful, modern and harmonious. Breakfast was very good and in a cosy and personal atmosphere at the Quinta, all other services were at the hotel Convento do Espinheiro which is very close. The facilities there are beautiful, the historical part is incredible and their reception team was outstanding, in particular Liliane and her colleague Matteo. They booked great dinners for us and gave very knowledgeable advice about Evora and the surroundings and booked a fantastic private wine tasting for us at Mainova. It was perfect and the wines were very good as well as their olive oil. Highly recommend Quinta do Santo and Convento do Espinheiro, would stay there again any time.

It’s beautifully designed and we were very lucky as not many rooms were booked when we visited. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, and offered everything you need for a comfortable stay. The landscape around the property was stunning, full of olive and citrus trees. It was quiet and tranquil - a perfect escape from the city! There was plenty of food for breakfast, fresh every day and we also enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant. We would definitely stay again :)

It was a little bit warm inside the room as the cooling is inside the floor, but the staff was very helpful.

We were pleasantly surprised that the Quinta was part of Convento Espinheiro which is a beautiful property. I loved that the Quinta is separate and has its own private pool and kitchen for breakfast. The rooms are beautifully renovated. It's super quiet and beautiful to be surrounded by the farm and orchard. We did the 9 course meal at the Quinta and it was amazing! So delicious and fun to eat so many wonderful things locally and specific to Alentejo.

There was no air conditioning in our bedrooms and no way to open any windows at night since it's a window/door--it was a little stuffy in one of our rooms because the overhead fan was loud when it was turned up all the way. The breakfast was okay-- would have liked a few more options. We were offered an omelette but it was just plain eggs--would have liked cheese, veggies or meat and toast. We didn't realize when we booked that the Quinta was part of the Convento Espinheiro--it is better to put the Convento address in to GPS rather than the Quinta, we had a very hard time finding the Quinta but once we called and spoke to someone and we realized we had to check in at the Convento, it was easy to find it.

The rooms were quite large and the decor was minimal, elegant and sustainable. The beds were super comfortable. Delicious breakfast.

The pool was wonderful butlounge chairs by the pool were not very comfortable and there was only one umbrella. I would love to see a wooden trellis for shade outside the dining area. And it would be nice to have a bench near the pool for towels.

Quinta do Santo is a very tranquil place. We wished we had stayed another day. It is a simple, elegant, well designed, beautiful clean space. We had dinner in the Convent which is absolutely beautiful in Divinus which was superb. It is a stunningly beautiful restaurant and the staff was fantastic. We would highly recommend.

The breakfast could have some more vegan / vegetarian options. Especially for on the bread. It would be nice if you could get an egg or something. Now it was only cheese or marmelade.

No facilities for a refreshment. We booked the accommodation based on a restaurant being onsite but the restaurant was closed.
