EVERYTHING :). Very close to everything. Beautiful, spacious room. Large bathroom with large walk-in shower. Our room had a Juliet balcony overlooking a small piazza. There is a rooftop terrace where we enjoyed a bottle of wine & watched the gorgeous sunset. The view is magical. We had dinner at their restaurant which was very good. Staff are very friendly. I could go on & on about Casa Soure Suites. If we are ever back in Evora we would absolutely stay there again.

It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the train station. Take a taxi . We decided to walk. Big mistake! We didn't realize until we started walking that ALL the streets & sidewalks are a rocky cobblestone & in need of repair in some areas. It was very hard & frustrating trying to pull our luggage on the cobblestone.

Great location- right in the city centre. Clean and functional apartment. The breakfast basket was Outstanding. Really appreciate how its packed with so much care. The staff is also very helpful and welcoming.

Its very difficult to get an idea of the apartment from the many photos on booking.com. The apartment opens straight onto a road with traffic. Moreover it doesnt have any window so to speak (have to keep it closed to maintain privacy). These things didnt bother us- but its better to have clarity upfront.

This place was amazing. The apartment itself had high ceilings, beautiful french doors, and balconies. It had everything we needed and more. Location was great and walking distance to everything. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. There were no extra steps for checkout and check in was super easy. This was probably the nicest place we stayed on our 2 week trip of Portugal and Spain. Evora is a lovely town and everyone is so nice. Thank you so much for the experience!

Our room was large and comfortable. We had double doors out to a small balcony over the restaurant. Access was mostly through the restaurant which is interesting. They provide a nice welcome kit for your room and you have a small fridge and microwave, dishes and cutlery. There is a little spot on the roof to sit and enjoy the view.

The doors to the room are not sound insulated and have a space at the bottom so you will hear less thoughtful guests coming and going and chatting.

The location is fantastic. All of Evora is easily accessible on foot. The apartment is right on the street so there is some noise, but it wasn't bothersome to us. Everything was neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom of good size. The bathroom was fine. The owners also run the next door restaurant, which is very good. The owners were very helpful when we lost the key. They came immediately to sell us a new one. Parking outside the city overnight, which is free, turned out to be convenient.

The disappointment was the living area which was very small and had no comfortable seating. Since it is on the ground floor, there is very little light and no view. I should have read the description more carefully. Some of the photos were deceiving, e..g, there is no archway in the apartment as shown in one of the photos. It is not a location that is easy to get to by car especially if you follow Google's directions. You may end up traversing the very very narrow medieval streets, about one car width wide. There are other ways to get there that are on reasonable streets, so plan carefully when you first arrive with your luggage. There is nowhere to stop on the street itself and nearby parking is extremely limited.

The room ( #2) was large and good size bathroom area. The location was central but challenging with a car as no parking. Can't even stop to unload bags as on single lane. Being a Sunday night the restaurant directly below was closed but Monday night was open and had a reasonable meal there.

The door to our room was warped at the top so had a gap which made us feel uncomfortable as any sound could be heard in the common area outside it. We felt we could only talk in hushed tones. Didn't meet anybody on-site as self check in so thought it a quite impersonal stay. At the restaurant we weren't acknowledged as house quests even though we advised them as staying in their guest rooms above their restaurant

Located in the old town, the hotel is close to all the shops, restaurants and attractions of Évora. The room is very spacious with nice view. There’s no breakfast at the hotel but near by there’s a restaurant named Do Largo with fresh bakeries and very nice cinnamon rolls less than 5 min walking distance. For parking, there’s a small open area near Largo de S. Miguel. We parked there for one night for free.

There’s no elevator and the stairs are narrow, a bit difficult to carry up the luggage.

We were asked prior to our stay to choose from a quite extensive menu. Each day the breakfast for each person was left outside our apartment in a closed basket and the door was knocked when it was delivered. The breakfast for each person was very good, the quality was very high and fresh. The milk for cereal was delivered in individual bottles and was more than adequate. All in all it was excellent.

Évora is a magical city with a deep history. Casa Soure made our short stay perfect in every way. It is centrally located to leave the car and walk through the city. We had a lovely apartment with a private balcony and beautiful view. The photos do not do it justice.

The only thing travelers should be advised about if driving is the extremely narrow winding streets you will need to navigate to reach the property. Not a fault, and it only adds to the charm of the city, but for those not used to driving in such small spaces they should book a small car.

Our apartment was beautiful, really big and it had everything we needed. The balcony was directly overlooking the square. We really enjoyed the set-up in which there was a restaurant on the ground floor (which we did eat at and really enjoyed) with the suites above. It had the feeling of being more than just an apartment available in a building. The location is literally 3-4 minutes' walk to the Cathedral and the Chapel of Bones. Very close to everything. Daniela was nice, hospitable and extremely helpful. The little gift bag that everyone gets at check-in was a nice touch too.

If you have a private vehicle, parking can be inconvenient. The nearest free parking lot is about 10 minutes' walk. There are closer options, but they require re-paying every 4 hours, so the free lot is the best bet.
