All new. Ample Parking. Lovely, clean, well appointed rooms include a small refrigerator, and room safe. Outdoor patio/balcony. Pool Upstairs restaurant has a wall of windows.

Room phone had a flashing red light that would not turn off after checking messages.

Was in need of a couple of beers and a sandwich when arrived and dining facility seemed empty. Turned out this was for breakfasts only. However, the bar man went to a great deal of trouble to prepare more than just the one sandwich. That plus couple beers were exactly what was needed. This was beyond call of duty. Also, i wanted to see couple xtra sights in Evora and they let me park couple hours beyond check-out time. All in all, v. helpful indeed. Location is just outside city walls, so it is a longish, but not unpleasant, walk uphill all the way to main sights in the city and there is plenty of interest to see. This also means you don't have to negotiate a car thru narrow, winding, one-way roads in the Old Town which can be a pain in other places. All access roads to sights lead off main square - Praca do Giraldo - where there are plenty of establishments for food, beers, vinho verde etc and the best part of that is the walk back is all downhill. Liked Evora very much, hope to return and will definitely stay in O Cante if do.

Really lovely receptionist, she dealt with everything efficiently and with ease. Great to have their free car park around the corner. Really lovely large room, with a kitchen sink area, a fridge, table and chairs, and a super comfortable bed. And tiny balcony, but it was raining so we couldn't enjoy that. Sadly, no kettle or cups, making the fridge a little pointless for anything other than keeping water in. Great shower, bathroom very clean, good  quality towels. Comfortable bed, very peaceful location, so slept well. Breakfast was wonderful. So much choice and everything nicely prepared and presented. Again, everything was really clean and the staff were lovely. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Would have been nice to have a kettle and some cups, to make a use of the kitchen sink provided.

Evora O Cante is perfectly located for exploring the city on foot, and it's a real bonus to have free, safe parking on site. Our room was clean, well appointed and the bed very comfortable. We were recommended 3 restaurants within an easy walk and had excellent food in both, one being a real treat as it was Michelin starred.

Unfortunately there was construction work taking place during our stay, which was noisy and continued on the first evening until 8 pm. This meant we couldn't enjoy our little balcony, though obviously the hotel needs to upgrade it's swimming pool area, so I guess this couldn't be avoided. The only other thing I would say is that there's nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. Some hooks or a towel rail would be useful.

Reception staff were excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. Restaurant was very clean and the views of the old town from the 1st floor windows was amazing. Car parking on the street was very good. Location is perfect for walking into old town. Room was amazing, with everything like new, and a lovely patio.

Signage for the hotel could be better, especially if approaching by car in the direction towards Evora Town. I had to drive back and forth several times and get out to walk to find it. Very easy to not notice the hotel and then drive past. Underground parking was a bit much for me, narrow entrance on a downward incline, but luckily there was easy parking on the street.

Great location just outside the city walls; extremely convenient for the bus station which was literally just a few minutes walk down the same street. Very good breakfast. Fabulous swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers and parasols. Our room was right next to the pool but very well soundproofed so we weren't disturbed by it at all. Spacious, comfortable room with good aircon, plenty of storage and nice toiletries in the bathroom. A big bottle of water was provided each day of our stay and there was a fridge to keep it cool.

The hotel description mentioned a coffee maker in the room and we didn't have one, but this wasn't really a problem.

The rooms are nice and comfortable, the pool area is kept very clean and organized, you can borrow pool towels and there is drinks available in the pool area for a charge, but we got every day a complementary bottle of water in the room and there are free juices next to the reception. A free parking garage that has not been mentioned anywhere but we were told about right when we arrived was a great bonus, there is free outside parking but in the heat it for sure is more comfortable to leave the car in a garage

The sunbeds are comfortable, but you can only lie on your back as they are not adjustable, some more signs on what is what especially in the breakfast area would have been nice

Wonderful staff; everyone was so friendly. The room was a very original design and made good use of every square inch... Shower worked very well and everything had a professional and grounded feel to it. We really enjoyed the breakfast! Terrific coffee drinks and even a fresh mixed fruit drink. Eggs and bacon, which my family loves. The cost was €9 each, but we were were happy with that because it was well done.

We were excited to try the spa... Unfortunately, they don't seem to have anyone responsible in charge of that part of the hotel! Promises were made and broken even after we got there. Really sad. The hot tub had murky water, so we asked about that. They promised to clean it in the morning so that we could use it by 9:30 a.m. We spoke with the front desk at 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m... By 10:30 am, it was still filled only halfway. Someone just forgot to fill it, despite our persistent reminders. Additionally, someone forgot to heat up both the steam room and the sauna (!!). By 11 a.m., we had to depart our room (& see the town!), so we gave up up.on the thing we were most looking forward to about this hotel. 😥

Good wide variety of food available for breakfast Rooms were spacious and the bed super comfy Hotel was located just a short walk from the centre of town and having a pool meant we could cool off after a warm day sightseeing

Although there was a wide variety of food at breakfast, it didn’t really cater for gluten/dairy intolerance. Whilst there was dairy and lactose free milk, there was no yogurt or gluten free cereal/bread so for me personally it was difficult to eat anything. My partner however loved breakfast!
