The hotel was in a great position just inside the city walls of Evora, making all the sights easily walkable, albeit on cobbled, narrow streets. It is modern, and has all expected comforts. There is parking on-street outside the hotel, but it is chargeable except Saturday afternoon, and all day Sunday, and apparently the payment can only be made for 4 hours at a time. There is underground parking at the hotel for 9 Euros per day, but be aware that it is very tight and, despite visiting in low season, was pretty full! That said, it might well be possible to park not too far away, just outside the city walls, after dropping off luggage, as you probably wouldn't want to drive around inside the city walls anyway! The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of choice. We didn't dine in the hotel, as there are many local restaurants to try. The room was large, we had a large bathroom with a bath and shower over. There was plenty of hanging space, a fridge and safe. It was quiet, with a good view over the gardens, pool and of the city walls and beyond. The room was plenty warm enough, despite a quarry tiled floor, during our winter visit.

Location was perfect. The hotel is very nice but the room was dated. The terrace was lovely with a view of the pool and the garden area. That was a very nice place to have a cocktail. We really enjoyed being within walking distance of all of the sites of the town. The breakfast was delicious and a bountiful buffet with so many choices.

Bed was not comfortable and really poor quality of pillows. Wish we could have had coffee in the room. Very old style of room refrigerator which you would see in motels in the US.

Friendly and helpful staff, big room with a nice balcony, comfortable beds, good breakfast. Nice garden, pool and bar. Very close to city centre (a few minutes walking) with lots of restaurants and bars. Convenient car park.

The noise during cleaning of the rooms would not let anyone sleep late (constant dragging of beds). The pool area is shared by adults and children, so when there are children (which was the case) it does not provide a relaxing ambiance.

Great location with convenient private parking (charged separately).

Absolutely no coffee between 11pm and 7am. (Apparently, not even the reception crew gets to have any coffee during the night until the kitchen opens.) No coffee shops open nearby either... Weak hair dryer. Bring your own. Also, there was a converter (220v-110v) in the bathroom but it was not working so we were left with no electric outlets in the bathroom.

Stayed here 1 night as a stopover. Hotel is a modern, spacious facility with nice spacious rooms and modern facilities. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Parking at the hotel garage was easy and very reasonable. Breakfast had a good number of options. Hotel was about a 10-minute walk to the old town plaza. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Evora.

Nothing really to complain about.

We love this hotel. This was our second time staying there, and we will come back again. It's in a great location inside the city walls and an easy walk to the central square, the cathedral, and the Chapel of Bones. The hotel has beautiful grounds and a pool, which we look forward to using when we return at a warmer time of year. The staff is incredibly helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast. It's an easy walk to a number of great restaurants.

Need wash clothes. Bigger bottled water. Coffee or tea service in lobby if not in room. Why single beds for a couple?

Perfect location that has parking available, which was huge for us since we drove there and the streets are tiny. The back of the property is the old city wall. Has a lovely backyard with a pool. Very charming. Easy check in, nice place. No air conditioning, when we set it to cool the room is just heated the room. Luckily we just left the windows open. Lovely view out the french door windows to the town. Within minutes of everywhere walking in Evora!

Bed was very firm, so was a bit uncomfortable to sleep.

Location and breakfast were great. The staff were as helpful as they could be. The property was nice for a large hotel, and the pool was pretty.

The property is a bit understaffed, and our room was not ready at the appointed time. The pool was very loud and crowded - unpleasantly so. Also the parking instructions ahead of time were not clear - they offered "paid parking if available" on site and "limited paid street parking nearby" but also not mentioned by the hotel and far easier than navigating the streets was plentiful free parking just outside the city wall (5 minute walk from the hotel).
