The follow-up messages from the Hotel after you make a reservation can be a bit overwhelming, but are very nice to read and only makes you feel like you actually matter to them, you're not just "another guest"! The little terrace for my dogs was a very nice surprise! The room was big enough for the three of us, with or without the terrace, but we enjoyed it either way ^^! The staff was very professional, helpful, nice and understandable - I was a bit worried to leave the dogs in the room unattended while I was out for dinner, but they reassured me well enough! The location felt very safe and quiet! It is closed to a garden big enough for the dogs to run around before turning in for the day! I wasn't able to try their restaurant because it was closed for the day but the toast I had delivered to the room was very tasty!! The breakfast room is small but very cosy and home-y. The breakfast itself is also pretty good! This was a very nice, although short, stay. I will definitely be coming back in the near future!

Was a bit hard to find the Hotel at night but nothing too serious. The A/C was a bit noisy during the night (I can only relate the noise to that of a plane engine preparing for take off) but for someone who is a heavy sleeper and lives in a big city, it wasn't that much of a problem! The shower had a bit of a temperature problem, even if you wanted it warm you'd get a short and casual cold jet. I think this can be described as a safety measure in some cases to avoid getting the bathroom too steamy and activate the smoke detector so I didn't really mind it.

We were able to check in early. After returning to our room in the afternoon, reception came to our room with a light tasting of grapes and nuts. Breakfast was incredible. It was an oasis on our tour through Portugal.

Parking. However, once we were told where to park within a few blocks it was easy. We didn’t need our car during our visit..

We loved The Noble House. It was in an excellent location in the old town, and had a wonderful historic vibe with all the modern facilities needed for a good stay, like good wifi, plenty of electrical sockets in the room for charging devices etc. Including a coffee maker and free water in the room. Breakfast was delicious too, with lots of choices. *Insider tip: don't go to the later breakfast slot as things have started to run out by then. The staff worked really hard to replenish, but earlier breakfast goers had really gone for it! We would return. Highly recommended.

Parking is a little tricky, but we were lucky as we got there on a Saturday, so there was free parking nearby. Also, it was super hot when we were there, nearly 38 degrees, so more free water in the room would have been very welcome.

Very central Evora. We had a delightful stay in the beautiful cathedral suite. It had the most beautiful view of the cathedral with a gorgeous rooftop terrace. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were so helpful.

room was really clean and surprisingly large. staff was incredibly friendly and helpful I would definitely stay here again.

the “hot” food on the breakfast buffet wasn’t really hot. and only heated with a single tea light candle (not a sterno flame). but that was a small complaint compared to how much we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back

The staff is courteous. The breakfast is excellent. There are 6 parking spots, first come first serve. The parking is in the back of the hotel. Overall, a great experience.

I wish there were hypoallergenic pillows. My allergies were acting up.

Our room and the view from our terrace was amazing. The staff was very professional and friendly and the breakfast delicious with many items to choose from. We were very pleased with the location.

Great find in the old town of Évora. Location: Perfect for exploring Évora. You can walk to all of the major, and minor, sights of the old town. They have a small car park, which we managed to use without problem in a large Renault Espace. Park up for the duration and enjoy wandering around. Service: Excellent. Warm welcome and given all the info we needed about the hotel, taken to our room and amenities explained, offered help with luggage, offered info about Évora and the sights to see. Rooms: We stayed in the Garden Suite. Unique, atmospheric with the old walls incorporated into the decor. Spotlessly clean. Coffee machine but no kettle. Large bathroom with good hot water, large walk-in shower, sufficient good towels and amenities. Some road noise, but not intrusive enough to disturb or keep us awake at night. It has it's own enclosed courtyard/garden - perfect when travelling with your pet. Breakfast: not a vast array, but quality excellent and more than sufficient to set you up for the day. If travelling with your pet, he can accompany you to the terrace for breakfast. The Hotel: It's a wonderful old building. They've retained a lot of the original features which are interesting and beautiful. Be aware that it is located in the conservation area of the old town and thus they are not allowed to install a lift. There are stairs everywhere, and if you struggle with stairs, this place is not for you. But if you manage stairs fine, then I recommend this hidden gem wholeheartedly.

The hotel and staff were lovely. We only stayed for one night and I wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was elegant and comfortable. The city of Évora is enchanting. I hope to return soon!

Staff was exceptional, even by the high standards set by all the hotel staff persons we met in other accommodations we stayed in Portugal. Excellent location for experiencing the beauty of E’vorra.

Due to our ages-75 and 78-we would have preferred a room lower in the hotel; we had not thought to request that when making our reservation. We will request that on future stays. That said, the room was very comfortable and we made it a point of humor every time we went up and down the 24 steps.
