This was the best hotel experience in Portugal. The location is excellent. The rooms are big and decorated in a beautiful way. It was so comfy and cozy I did not want to leave the room. Breakfast was really good. On my first day, I was alone in a hotel and in the morning they got my table ready in advance. That was so nice gesture. They are friendly and helpful. The hotel has lovely small library and terrace with nice views. Oh, I forgot to mention little coffee machine in a room with one of the most tasty coffee capsules ever.

I can't remember any single thing that I didn't like in the hotel.

Location was perfect - spacious and close to all major sights and the park, where the Sao Joao festival was ongoing. The hotel is an old patrician house, rooms are on ground fflor and 1 floor up. It was lovingly restored. This comes with compromises such as the absence of an elevator. However, the receptionist carried my luggage to my room. While this might be problematinc for people with reduced mobility it was not really an issue for me.

There is no restaurant in the (small) hotel.

Cozy boutique hotel with a very comfy bed and lots of pillows… I love it!! Nice full buffet for breakfast. Very good croissant. In general it is very good for money. The staff is very polite and helpful. They helped me carried my very heavy luggage to the second floor. They also have passcode to the hotel gate if you come back to the hotel a bit late. So security system is good.

Cozy boutique hotel in a central location, clean, quiet, and a nice responsive staff. They were very generous with the room (upgraded) and they allowed a later checkout time. They helped me carry my luggage down the stairs. Very comfy bed and lots of pillows. Nice full buffet for breakfast.

Parking was quite a distance away imho, but you could park in front to unload luggage. There was a coffee maker in the room, which they showed me how to use, but I could not do it on my own.

This cozy hotel is perfectly located—in the heart of Évora. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the receptionists were extremely kind and helpful. On top of it all, there's a lovely terrace where you can gaze at the stars.

For me, breakfast was okay, but if you prefer a substantial meal, you might be disappointed. The selection of dishes was quite limited. I wish there had been some vegetables.

Excellent location. Breakfast was good. The room was next to the dinning room. Hence there would be noise if the breakfast area gets busy. We did not have any problem as the hotel was not busy. Room was big. The recommendations given for dinner by the receptionist was also good.

There was no bath soap/ gel when we checked in the first day. But they filled it when we asked them the next day. Parking is outside the city walls and it is free. There is only place for two cars in front of the hotel to drop off the bags.

The staff were so friendly and the hotel is so cute! It was also very central which was a plus. The breakfast spread was the star of the show though, with a lovely selection of fresh fruit juices, fruit, pastries, bread, ham, cheese and the option to share some eggs and bacon. Overall we would highly recommend Templo and if we are ever back in the area we will be sure to return!

Nothing, everything was perfect

Clean, simple, well-maintained and nicely decorated. The breakfast was great: it's always touch-and-go in hotels, but it was really nice: fresh kiwis, beetroot juice, etc, not just jam and toast. Also, I was running late and the reception texted me self check in instructions, which was nice of them. I managed to arrive five minutes before the desk closed, but it's nice to know I wouldn't have been locked out of the hotel.

Beautiful renovation of this old building. The roof terrace is basic but a lovely space to sit at all times of day. The air-conditioned reading room with an honesty bar was also a lovely touch. Breakfast was fabulous. Fridge in the room, and a really great shower. Coffee machine in the room.

The single room was a good use of space but felt claustrophobic because the window was so high.

the room was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was modern, functional and with all that was normally needed. It looked clean. The staff were helpful and non-intrusive. The hotel has a lounge area adjoined to a terrace which is was excellent for a drink late at night. There was a small self-service bar for guests to use and pay at check-out. The hotel is 5 minutes walking distance from the Roman temple (hence the name). Had a great experience and happily recommend it. Thank you.
