The hotel felt new and the rooms were in great condition. We were surprised by the quality - we've stayed at other Holiday Inn's and felt this was a step up from many of the others. Beds were comfortable, room and hotel was very clean, overall it was really good. We chose the hotel because we didn't want to drive inside the walls, but wanted to be close to the downtown. The location was great - short walk across the street and you are inside the walls! And we found the area to be safe walking around at night. Also, the breakfast was good. It was perfect for our needs. Would stay here again for sure.

This was the best hotel during our 8-day trip to Portugal. We traveled in the off-season—March—when the weather wasn’t great; it rained often, and the temperature was mild. This was the only hotel that was warm upon arrival (in all the others, we had to turn on heaters, which took about 1.5 to 2 hours to warm up the rooms). They have real blankets—warm and puffy—not just thin sheets. Breakfast was available from 7 AM, which was fantastic since we had a 2-hour time difference, and by 8 AM, I was starving! The views from the windows were stunning, overlooking the aqueduct and old city walls. It’s just a short walk to the old town. I loved the modern, simple design and the tea and coffee facilities. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was placed right outside the old city walls, with relatively short distance to several facilities and historical locations. Although the pool was closed during my stay, one could get a good impression of how it would be during summertime. Also, it is a big plus in my book that it was possible to sneak into the restaurant to operate the coffee machine outside of closing time. It was probably not allowed though! Another big plus in my book is both the good service I got from the receptionist, and the room was excellent for doing remote work due to the size and placement of the table. I had no issue with the WiFi either - although I did not do any stresstest, just the usual videocalls and online work.

Not much to say here really. If pressed, I could perhaps say something about the corridors having many corners, or that several of the facilities were closed due to it being off-season. But basically, compared to other hotels I have stayed at, I do not really have much to complain about. Perhaps I could make a comment on the breakfast though. It had very little selection. And I wonder if the person in charge had a bad day at work the three days I were there. The questions about if one actually was staying at the hotel got a bit unnerving after a while. But those are minor details. He just did his job.

It’s a relatively new hotel (6 months old) so everything is fresh and in good condition. Good location able to park car on street (hotel’s underground car park is quite expensive). Great breakfast with lots of choice. Room was well designed.

The room had a hospitality tray - kettle, coffee, tea, milk etc but this wasn’t replenished on a daily basis - reception staff said this was a new policy. So it doesn’t matter how many nights you stay you only get one set up! Odd policy that needs to change.

Great location just outside the walls of the old town. Everything within a walking distance. The room was spotless and breakfast though basic yet was very good. Staff are very helpful and did their best to accommodate us in spite of the high occupancy during the time of our stay that kept them very busy all the time.

No minibar in the room. We had to put whatever we got in a bag and keep it in the reception's fridge !!

The hotel is located just outside the city walls, within walking distance to the town center. You can park for free right in front of the hotel. The pool belongs to a neighboring restaurant, not the hotel, so there is an extra fee – this was mentioned in the Booking description.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. There was both a hot and cold buffet, but there wasn’t any vegetable at all. Overall, breakfast didn’t meet our expectations.

The staff were super, Hernandes provided us with excellent service, helped us with restaurant bookings and flight check-in. Location just outside the old town was perfect, easy to find parking. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly delicious. Breakfast was very good too. Room was clean and comfortable.

They don't have a lounge / reading room. Only a lobby which is not suitable for reading. Room was small, but we knew that.

Just minutes away from the old Town. Inside the walled city there is so much to see. The hotel is new and state of the art. Evora is a jem. Patricia on the front desk provided outstanding customer service.

Scents are used in the hotel corridors. Not a good idea where many clients have issues with scents. Time to go scent free and improve accessibility to all.

Attractive front garden of the hotel immediately made a good impression. Large, clean, comfortable room and bed. Breakfast included and plenty of choice. Good location and we managed to park just outside the hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The adjacent restaurant, Forno da Telha, (not owned by the hotel) served good food using local produce and was housed in a lovely building.

The hotel is very new, it was impeccably clean and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. The breakfast was fairly decent and the breakfast room was very nice. The hotel is in walking distance to everything you would want to visit during a trip to Évora. The only minor thing we didn’t like was the shower was barely lukewarm which was odd because the water from the tap got very hot.
