Spacious room, modern and a big comfortable bed. Clean room and great bathroom. Excellent eating area (seating indoors and outdoors) Lots of free parking.

If a hotel advertises 'SPA' as part of it's facilities, then it should have a spa in proper conditions. The turkish bath wasn't working, the fountains in the pool also weren't working and the jacuzzi water was tepid and the surrounding area needed to be cleaned. The breakfast was decent but the eggs were strange.

I was positively impressed with the professionalism, kindness and customer service from all staff. Also, I would like to highlight some names (without any rating or special order) that cared about us so well at the restaurant, Fernando, Miguel, Francisco, Vanessa, and Reny (apologies for not recalling the other staff names). A big thank you!

Some details are in need to be looked after in the room, for example, one of the bathroom spotlights hanging from the ceiling or the power sockets in the walls would benefit to be replaced.

Love the location and ambience. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool amazing and views unbeatable. Hotels clean & well managed, location is perfect. - great, friendly and helpful staff - provided dinner before check in even though we late arrived at 10pm, really kind of the hotel staffs and that was our first impression. - overall excellent service (room service, restaurant, concierge etc.) - convenient location - near to slide&splash - good restaurant and bars in the hotel, with good quality food, buffet dinner was super and excellent selections of delicious breakfast items. - design & quality and dedication to eco-goals. I would certainly recommend this hotel and stay there again.

- Friendly and welcoming staff. Gave us clear instructions on parking and how to get to the breakfast area. - This was probably the most spacious room and bathroom we had during our trip to Portugal. It was nice, clean and comfortable. - The property is pretty; it feels like being on a resort). In the morning, we had a nice view of horses and storks from our balcony. - Very good selection for breakfast. We especially liked their pancake, eggs, mushrooms and choices of pastries.

- There was a slight "ocean" smell in the bathroom but it didn't bother us.

Nice clean well laid out hotel, secure parking for our motorcycles in the under hotel car park. Welcoming friendly staff. Nice size room, large bed, plenty of storage space and good access to plug sockets. His & her sinks in the bathroom with a nice large shower. Breakfast and evening meals was a choice of a large varied selection of food, well replenished and freshly made. The pool was nice, if not a little cold (early June) but was OK once you were fully in. Laundrette was a 5 minute walk away (Good thing when motorcycle touring), train station a 12 minute walk away. Well recommended and would be happy to stay here again.

Nice modern hotel with good facilities. Views from the terrace are outstanding. Spacious, modern and very clean room, large comfortable beds, fridge. Clean and great bathroom. Nice eating area with seating indoors and outdoors. Beautiful outdoor pool (unfortunately could in the February) with great views of the river and sunsets. Big free parking. Good wifi. The quality of breakfast was good, although it could be more choices.

We had to buy caps for the indoor pool and they cost €5 each, which is expensive, when founding the dissapointig small pool, no chance to swim there. Although the jacuzzi was warm and great.

Good place for the price. Everything was okay, nothing to complain about - quiet place, good location (we had a car so it was very convenient that we could park our car in the territory without any check-inn check-out. The staff were nice and polite (as everywhere else in Portugal)

The only thing, actually 2 things that I would recommend to improve: 1. Breakfast. Every single day the same food, and to be honest - nothing to be excited about. Normal food, but as we stayed in Portugal for 2 weeks and the most of the time we spent here, Agua Hotels Riverside was least good. The breakfast room wasn’t conditioned and there was very hot. Another thing to improve is cleaning. The room was OK, but the corridors were dirty from the first day we stayed there, so it seems like nobody is cleaning corridors. Not a very good first impression.

Great location, great staff, a good restaurant, and an interesting building. The ample parking and a balcony for each room worked well. The steam room ("Turkish bath") had ample heat and steam.

No tea / coffee facilities in the room was disappointing. And having two single beds pushed together instead of a king size bed was uncomfortable. The range of gym equipment could be improved, though I appreciate there isn't more space available in the allocated room.

All good, plus to celebrate Valentines Day we wanted to have a little picnic and bottle of wine we bought (not from hotel) in our room. The staff were generous and flexible, provided plates etc, and even uncorked the wine for us! That sort of adaptability made it a very welcoming place to be.

Nothing major. I thought the indoor pool was gong to be bigger. In the end, we didn't use it though...

Really nice hotel with a beautiful pool and good location to make easy journeys into Portimão, etc. Helpful staff who even have a complimentary bottle for my mums birthday, very kind!

Restaurant was a little overcomplicated with different types of menus but no real complaints.
