The view was very good

The room they gave us first was not very good it was up a wooden spiral staircase not very safe walking up and down it. And the balcony had alot of pigeons landing on the roof pooing everywhere.and they used the pool to get a drink and sit bathing in it. Laminate flooring in room was damaged which was very unsafe trip hazard. Lots of tiny little like ants crawling around near the bathroom so we refused to stay in that room and they did move us to a better room with a balcony with a beautiful view. There was no kettle in the room never stayed in a hotel that didn't have the facilities to make a drink.

The hotel is a short walk up the hill from the Old Town, in a splendid position overlooking one of the main beaches. The public terrace with small swimming pool looks over the beach and was very pleasant at all times of the day. The staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel is perfectly comfortable but I would not say it is luxurious, as such, by contrast with many hotels which describe themselves as boutique hotels. I would be very happy to stay there again

I have one complaint. The hotel requires its guests to make a Euros 200 damage deposit at check in. I have no problem with the principle of that. However, the hotel takes the deposit either in cash or by requiring you to write your credit card details on a piece of paper which is retained by the hotel for the duration of your stay. There was no option for a secure swipe of a credit card to be taken. This surprised me and is not in line with modern practice. Fortunately, I had cash available and made my deposit in cash. There was no way that I was going to allow any other person to have a manuscript record of the details of one of my credit cards. I hope that the hotel takes note of this comment and changes its practices for the future.

Hotel is in a really good location - few minutes both from ocean and from centre. Breakfast was very good (and also with perfect view from terrace). The staff was also very nice.

Very strict hotel rules regarding using everything in hotel room (not seen such in any other hotel previously). Added photos with responsibility agreement which we signed while check-in and also warning in bathroom. Also, don't forget to take hair dryer (the one in room doesn't dry anything :()

Excellent location, 1 minute from the sea and the center of Albufeira. Hotel is very quite and relaxing.

They require 200€ deposit in case you damage something. Also there is an intimidating poster in the bathroom stating that they will fine you 50€ if you stain a towel. It felt unfriendly.

The location was just perfect, a 2 minute walk into the heart of the old town and a 1 minute walk to the beach. however, you do not get any noise from the busy nightlife of the old town, which is great! Our room was great! Very spacious, nice bathroom and comfy bed. A room with sea view is a must have for booking with this hotel with a stunning view overlooking the beach, Breakfast is small (which we knew about) but very nice - with croissants, fresh fruit, meat, cheese and breads. Staff are pleasant and leave you to yourself for the whole stay. Stay here if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay with no hassle. Perfect for couples. 12pm checkout is also a huge bonus if you are like us and have a long day waiting for your flight home.

There are only very small touches that would make the hotel a 10/10. Staff tend to leave you to yourself in order to allow you to relax, which is really nice, however I think if they occasionally had a member of staff walking around the pool area to offer a cold beer/cocktail, it would go a long way. We stayed for a week and though our room was cleaned every day, the bed was made but the bed sheets were not changed for the duration. however, we did not mention this to the staff, so i'm sure it can be arranged. The 200EUR room deposit when you first check in is rather annoying for budgeting, as on the day you fly home, you are left with 200EUR to spend. We also felt it was strange that you have to pay for a safe key to store your valuables.

The hotel may ask for additional payment for using their towels (there's a note that if you try to use them while you have sunscreen/cosmetics/etc you might have to hay penalty). The most of the guests are seniors (this isn't a minus for sure, but the next item might be caused by that). The guests, who have booked the rooms near the pool, might scream at you if you try to sit/relax in the pool area after 7pm. Due to, you may be either near their rooms (some of them have doors right to the pool) or disturb them to sleep (yes, at 7pm).

Breakfast was delicious, varied, but exactly the same every day, there was no scrambled eggs, sausages. One morning we asked for a pre-prepared breakfast package because we were going kayaking at sunrise, it was no problem. Staff was nice and helpful. Accommodation was clean, well located, very close to the city center and the beach.

Our room was on the street front, the noise of the cars was not audible, it was not disturbing, but everything could be heard from the room above us, shouting at 2 am. Every morning at about 6 am I woke up to a monotonous rattling noise, it was probably the cleaner with the broom, everyone should know that he is already working...

The hotel is in a good location, near enough to the central area but away from the evening noise. The hotel is situated at the top of a steep hill which we struggled each day to get up. So bear in mind especially if you,ve had a few vino,s. The room was fine but there were a number of issues that the staff manged to sort out on the first day of our week long visit. The hotel was clean and well looked after with a beautiful view, from the breakfast room, of the bay. If you want the sun in the afternoon then choose a land view room with a terrace or balcony.

The breakfast room was rather quiet in the morning and I think there should be some background music to enhance the atmosphere. The rooms do not have tea and coffee making facilities although there is a coffee machine in the breakfast room.

Air con exceptional. Toilet with hygiene shower very handy, Amount of drawers and storage space excellent. Views of sea from balcony excellent. Blackout curtains very good. Net curtains excellent. Shaving mirror very good magnification. Breakfast non cooked but very good mixtures of other typical items eg bread types, cereals, cold meats, fruit juices. Exceptionally clean everywhere. Peaceful guests and surrounds (when we were there), location great for noisy 'old town' and restaurants and bars. Also good location for beach access down several flights of stairs or a lift. Reception staff Andreas and his colleague were superb and very helpful.

Underneath hotel parking entrance gate best for a narrow car.

Great adult only boutique hotel. Loved that it was within easy walking distance to the crazy busy town Center. It was our quiet get away from the hustle of town. Great breakfast but the coffee seemed to be like warm every morning but and missing flavour.

Our rooms balcony faced the pool and terrace. We were enjoying our own wine outside on our little patio and were told we could not do this. ???
