Had a lovely stay with my daughter at this hotel .it felt very safe and had everything we needed the rooftop pool was gorgeous.Safety deposit box and air conditioning and also kettle in the room and fridge definitely go back . The lady on reception was very nice and accommodating.

There was nothing l didn’t like .

So close to all the fun touristy stuff like the beach and restaurants and shops, a very friendly front desk, and a roof deck pool. Great a/c! Adequate breakfast.

Not a big deal and nothing they can do about it but (at least from the 1st floor where my room was) any car coming down the hill was kind of loud. But not enough to wake a person up. A very small critique! Also not their fault: it sounded closer to the bus station when I researched it, but because the sidewalks are all cobblestones it was actually pretty hard to drag/roll the suitcase all the way to the hotel. So get an Uber if you’ve got a suitcase.

The hotel is well positioned for all that old town has to offer, the rooftop pool is a great asset and is very quiet. Staff were welcoming and the clearing of our room was great. Kettle and fridge in the room was useful.

No tea, coffee or milk was provided, not sure if this was an oversight but thankfully I had my own supply. The road up to the hotel is very steep and is not for those who have any walking difficulties, it made me catch my breath but then I`m 68.

It was a great stay overall, the hotel is old but very clean, room clean every day, every utility is functioning properly, and the staff is really friendy and helpful. Very good wifi as well

Going uphill but that's minor since I specifically chose the hotel a bit away from the noisy nightlife, the breakfast is basic with not that much of a choice but it's good quality

We had an emergency accommodation need for our teenage son and his friends who were turned away from another local provider who had given away their reservation. The Colina do Mar provided a late check in at 11pm and looked after them, even providing luggage storage the following day. It is a reminder that, regardless of the level of an accommodation, it is the kindness and helpfulness of staff that matters most. We are eternally grateful.

It is close within old town, the air con was new and worked perfect, it had new shower head fitted to the bath, the mini fridge worked great. It was clean. We had room 14. We would stay again for a couple of nights we booked 2 nights stayed one and used the 2nd so we could late checkout in the evening.

Not much we got what we expected, it was cheap and cheerful, it is an old hotel, dated decor,the bedroom is dark with only a 3 small lights, as others say very steep hill from old town square. It is a shower over a bath and the bath is very narrow not for the unstable or vunerable. Air con is free only if your in the room only one card to activate it.

Cute little hotel in a very very nice location. Really good price. Simple and clean room. Room equipped with TV, air conditioning and mini fridge. Bathroom had a bidet and a bathtub. Hotel has a rooftop pool. Breakfast is classic and good. Warm dishes are included, there are some vegetarian options as well. Friendly staff. Very close to the city centre and to the beach. A few minutes walking to everything and still not noisy at night. Room had a really nice view of the street.

Furniture was a bit old but working fine and clean. Room didn't have a balcony, it was a bit tricky drying clothes sometimes. Everything was fine overall, no issues.

Great location, just a step away from everything, restaurants, beach, travel agencies, shops, bar street, but far enough not to be in the center of the madness. Breakfast is good, you can get anything you need protein - eggs, yogurt, beans, carbs - bread, cereal, pastries and fruit, etc. to start your day. The bed was comfy and the size of the room was decent. It was good to have a swim in the pool when we arrived in the evening after a long journey. Most of the hotel staff was friendly. Great base, if you want to be close to the beach and to the sparkling life of Albufeira.

Be prepared for climbing uphills, but it's bearable Quite noisy, you can hear every noise and drunk people's loudness, soundproofing should be improved, however it's not the hotel's fault people cannot behave

The location was perfect. Close to everything in the Old Town. Staff were fabulous. Breakfast was lovely. There was no noise at night even though it is so close to all the action. We travelled over for a wedding and ended up staying in this hotel for an extra 3 nights.

We were very happy with everything. No complaints. Be ready for the steepish walk to the hotel though on way back from the Old Town.

So clean. Fantastic breakfast. Wonderful roof terrace and pool. So close to old town and peaceful away from noisy bars in main square.

Really good that shower gel provided but it was very watery. That's only thing negative! Everything else fab and great value
