The hotel was clean, all the staff were friendly and professional and the food was excellent. We tried to check in early because of flights and had emailed ahead but we were very early (8am vs a 3pm check in) so they were kind enough to let us leave our bags and change and Whatsapp'd when the room was ready. Staff are extremely accommodating. The hotel is central and has 2 entrances, one to the reception directly to the 8th floor and the other on the opposite side of the hotel straight onto the strip with all the bars, shops and restaurants. Beds are comfortable. The bathroom was clean and not nearly as exposed as some reviews I'd read had suggested

The hotel is in the center of Albrufeira and so the noise from the bars does travel to the rooms into the small hours. It only kept me up one night as it really isn't as bad as some reviews suggest. We're an older (non partying) couple and it is like being in the centre of any city that has an event on - it's just that event is every night.

Our stay at this hotel in Albufeira was nothing short of fantastic! Located in the old town right on the strip, the hotel provided the perfect balance between vibrant life and peaceful relaxation. We chose a poolside room, and it was the best decision-clean, comfortable, and much quieter than expected given the central location. The room was serviced daily, which kept everything fresh and spotless. The food and drink options were excellent. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and lunch each day, and the cocktails by the pool were the perfect way to unwind. The pool area itself was beautiful, clean, and provided a great spot to relax after exploring the town. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. If you're visiting Albufeira, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. We'll definitely be back!

We had a great stay!

The property is in the heart of the old town and had a real party vibe. Yes it is noisy. Yes there is loud music. Yes there were large groups of people having fun. I witnessed people from 18 year olds to 70 years old have a brilliant time during the day around the pool and then party on until the night. The sunbeds were great and no silly nonsense of laying your towel down to reserve a bed early. The hotel and rooms were very modern, clean and had the lovely new feeling. Bed was massive and very comfy. Plenty of sockets for charging, hair dryer etc. The hotel provides a hair dryer and a clothes steamer which worked fab on getting the creases out my dresses.

In room 302 you would have thought that being a nightlife view room the outside noise would have been the problem. However, at 8am the noise from housekeeping moving trolleys around and congregating around the office chatting just outside the room was more troublesome. The shower was completely open to the room so no privacy if sharing with someone you don’t want to get fully naked with! Coffee machine didn’t work which was report but nothing done about it. The toilet roll holder and the towel hooks kept falling off as inappropriately fixed. Couldn’t put a bottle of water in the fridge as tray prevented it and you couldn’t open the door wide enough to remove the tray as the cupboard door didn’t open fully.

The location is in the heart of Old Town so you have endless options when it comes to restaurants and bars .. a 3 minute walk to one of the beaches and 7 minutes to another. There is a spar that you can get to by elevator from the hotel that also leaves you in the middle of the old town. Noise wise we were on the 4th floor and it honestly wasn’t bad .. sleeping wasn’t an issue.. maybe if you are lower down it’s probably worse .. but we truly had an amazing trip and a wonderfully relaxing time with Indigo Hotel. Will definitely be going back! Staff was absolutely fantastic and so so friendly! 10/10 would recommend.

Breakfast options were very limited .. only thing I could think of for a somewhat negative.

We loved our 6th floor room with a terrace with easy access to the pool area and the restaurant for breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet selections was wonderful including gluten free options. We loved the easy access to the street and the pool area as well as the view of the beach from the 8th floor entrance as well. The pool area was lovely. The easy access to massage on the 2nd floor and its wonderful water hydrotherapy. The first floor entrance has access to the many restaurants and stores in Albufeira. The location is perfect.

Lack of a private shower door in our room. Luckily I came with my niece so we are fine with that. But if I came with friends, I would want some privacy when I shower. The first floor street can be pretty crowded some nights so it is hard to navigate from the right side of the street at times.

Such a stunning hotel in an amazing location. From start to finish we had a great stay here. The staff were so helpful when checking in, my partner got there before I did and had no issue checking in. I don't remember the name of the woman who checked me in but she was so great to deal with, such a nice person. The hotel rooms are gorgeous and so modern. The room was cleaned every day and we were given fresh towels. The breakfast each morning was so nice and lots of options to choose from. Staff were amazing too. We stayed in room 201 which was facing the strip, this room is above the Piccadilly Bar. We did know beforehand that it might be noisy so this didn't bother us as we were expecting it. We only noticed on our last day but the hotel provided ear plugs. It was very noisy so just to be aware of this. Overall, the hotel was stunning and staff were amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again :)

Nothing major but there isn't much options for hanging your clothes in the room, it didn't bother us as we had a short stay but maybe something to note if you were staying for longer. This also may have just been the room we picked too. It wasn't a big deal though as they did have some hanging hooks on the wall. Another thing would be the temp of the pool, it was freezing. Once you're in there it's such a nice pool but a bit cold. On our last day it was warmer so maybe we were just unlucky that way.

Very well run. The staff were helpful and capable. Everything is arranged for an easy and peaceful experience. Fabulous views over the town

This hotel has been refurbished to a high standard … dressing gowns and slippers .. bed was so comfy … the food is amazing and the staff that serve you cannot do enough for you It’s central for everything I highly recommend … we were a hen party of mixed ages and everyone loved it … the hotel is so central so expect noise from the clubs but it didn’t keep us awake and everyone staying in the hotel was respectful …. It was just perfect for our group

The only thing we found to complain about was the cleanliness of the swimming pool … but there was nothing else!!

We upgraded to a pool view room which was fantastic.

Pool music was a little loud in the morning, it would have been good to be able to shut the balcony door from the outside while my partner was sleeping and i was on the balcony. The rooftop pool was fantastic, and loved upgrading to have that balcony to the pool. Otherwise, fantastic, no noise at night. We couldn't check in until 3pm and arrived around 9am, so it was a long wait to get in the room. It would have been nice if we where prioritized to get in our room. Staff where accommodating though and let us leave our bags in a safe place.

This hotel is perfectly located,near the shops,bars and restaurants. Spotlessly clean with lovely polite,helpful staff. My husband and I spent 5 lovely relaxing nights there end of Oct.The breakfast every morning was fantastic and definitely worth €13 each with a wide variety of fruit,bread,pastries,hot food and delicious coffee. Beautiful pool area,though shaded all the time and very comfortable pool beds. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
