First and foremost, a good business has good stuff and an exceptional business has exceptional staff! This hostel is the latter and it's run by a very nice and pleasant lady, Fatima!. I first read the reviews before booking this hostel and I was blown away with the amount of positive reviews about Fatima and the Rich and Poor hostel so I knew this was the place I was going to book for a cheap holiday. The rooms were very clean and so was the kitchen and stairs leading to the rooms, thanks to the cleaning staff who also made sure there was new toilet rolls. I just don't have a bad word to say about this place and would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in albuferia.

Honestly I would be clutching at straws to find something and I can't other than the location. You are literally a 2 minute walk from the main clubs and restaurants which was a huge bonus for me popping in and out multiple times a day and also coming back from the beach etc. However, that is a double edged sword as at nighttime you can hear the music and hustle and bustle of nightlife. So, if you don't mind that then there is simply nothing I didn't like about staying here.

The facilities were nice (and we ended up being the only ones in the room). Staff also had some great recommendations for places to eat, and the location was very central to town.

Got pretty noisy outside at night. Not the fault of the hostel, but if you're a light sleeper you may want a location further out of town.

Super good location close the main town and the cafe had delicious food

There was only 2 fans in the room for 8 beds. Was super hot for summer time. The receptionist was quite intimidating. The showers were a little dirty

I liked everything

I wish all reception staff were like David, he is polite, friendly and accommodating. I was reluctant to stay in a hostal because I don't like sharing but the experience was better than I expected. The hostal is clean and secure. There is a large well equipped kitchen with supplies that you can use and the wifi reception is excellent.

Traffic noise can be a bit annoying.

Excellent location, stones throw away from the old town square. Beach meters away and beside many restaurants and pubs. Hostel was very clean, spacious dorm with very comfortable beds. Staff were top class and David went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Hostel was very clean and quiet. David and Fatima were amazing to deal with. provided great information about the area. Great price.

Absolutely nothing bad to say but just a suggestion to put a comfortable chair to relax in.
