Location was great, out of the hotel, down the hill to a set of steps which took you right into old town square - literally a 3/4 min walk. Coming home up the steps was a little harder but worth it. There were spa facilities which were lovely, you do have to have a swimming cap to use the indoor pool - can be bought there. Outdoor pools were fabulous, well maintained, cold but it was March so unsurprising - kids got in every day though. Food was delicious - we just paid as we went. Fairly good value for money but obviously there are cheaper options outside of the hotel. Download the Bolt app to use taxi’s - so simple, so cheap and taxis were literally everywhere and there within 3 minutes. Taxi to marina was €3.65 and a similar price to New Town but both are walkable within 20 - 30 minutes with plenty of places to stop on the way. Rooms were cleaned every day apart from Sunday and they did a fantastic job. There was a little shop with the basics in it but a 10 minute walk up the hill takes you to Aldi and Lidl is the across the road too so you can get everything you need to have breakfast lunch etc. in your apartment if you want to.

The beds weren’t the comfiest, we stayed for 10 days with no real issues but definitely couldn’t wait to get back to my own bed. You only get one pillow which isn’t the best. We didn’t try to request more so that could be an option. They wouldn’t let us try to book a late checkout until the morning we had to leave. Then we found out the hotel was fully booked so we had to be out by 11am but we could put our luggage in the luggage room and then we were able to use the showers and changing facilities in the spa area. No soap / dishwasher tablets / cloths in the kitchen so take your own / buy your own there.

Everything was excellent. The only issue I would have is that you had to pay for a meal in the restaurant to enjoy the music entertainment that was on. It was not free in the bar. If you didn't pay for an A le Carte meal or pay €24 for the buffet per person, You couldn't go into the restaurant to listen to the music. It should be free for customers to enjoy in the bar or even charge a reduced rate . We didn't eat in the restaurant every night because of this. Most hotels have entertainment for guests to enjoy without paying. If so people would stay in the hotel for a couple of nights for a drink instead of going down to old town to listen to music.. Also although a fabulous location, going down the steps during the day and when bright was OK. But on a couple of occasions after it got dark, we found coming up the steps unsafe due to alot of males loitering half way up the steps. From then on we used Taxis. This should be made known to the local police.

Very good location. Only a few minutes walk to the old town. Apartment was cleaned daily. We had a lovely view in apartment 204. Would highly recommend downloading the Bolt app. It’s similar to Uber and very cheap to get a taxi back to the apartment.

Good amount of sunbeds around the pool. Breakfast was good. Good variety Location was good Staff (apart from one male person at the front desk) were amazing. Ana and Rodriguez on the front desk were so helpful.

Different parts to the complex so npt clear when you are booking where exactly you are staying We had to ask to be moved after our first night and when we were moved it was to a fabulous apt. The guy at the front desk on check in was very rude and really not interested in helping us in any way. Lots of steps to the town but that was well highlighted

We didn't try the food unfortunately. The range of service is good, there is a SPA with great prices for massage and other services and free access to sauna and steam room, a jacuzzi pool and a swimming pool indoor and at least 2 swimming pool outdoor, there is a large terrace to sunbathe, restaurant and bar options available, WiFi, which even if is advertised to be only in communal areas we could get the signal from our flat so it was great. Probably if we would have had issues connecting I would have added this on the things we didn't like, but this is not the case, at least for us.

Mattresses and sofa bed were not comfy to sleep in I'm afraid. There was only one small soap bar and one type of liquid soap to shower ourselves in the apartment which was attached to the wall in the bath tub area (I would expect a liquid shampoo at least and a conditioner would be a bonus). Considering that is an apartment for short term, should be serviced with liquid soap to wash dishes and a sponge, dishwasher capsules and washing machine soap, or in alternative the possibility for those last two items, to be bought from you singluarly, I mean the capsules and soap pods, rather than us buying the whole thing and leaving it behind upon departure. The timer of the light in the bathroom isn't lasting long enough and the light kept switching off during shower which was annoying.

The apartment was amazing, with the ocean view and the city panorama. Spacious room, equipped kitchen. Clean and very comfortable. Loved that place so much! The beach is not that far but mind that the hotel is on a hill so you will have to climb 96 stairs back to the hotel. We stayed with a 5-year old kid and it was not a problem. For those who find this hard, there’s a free hotel shuttle to the city center and back to the hotel. We asked for a transfer from the airport and back to the airport. The car was exactly on time as requested. Perfect service! The staff were very friendly and helpful! Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!

Not enough sun loungers which prompted people to reserve them in the morning

We stayed in apartments, part of hotel located beside hotel. Very clean, comfortable and spacious apartment for family of 5. Great location Beside Aldi and lidol 2 mins walking distance Mins walk to Oldtown Good choice of pools and access to all leisure facilities in the main hotel

Nothing not to like

Great location, but keep in mind that you need to walk up and down more than a hundred steps to get to the city center. Very friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast with a lot of options (British influenced, but not only) including fresh fruit etc.

The rooms are starting to feel a bit outdated (still fairly good and fully functional), not sure if that applies to all parts of this huge hotel complex though. Recurring problem that guests "reserved" sun beds by the pools by putting towels on them early in the morning - basically blocking others from using them. Could probably be handled by the hotel in some way...

Property was very clean, big and spacious with plenty of natural light, had a lovely balcony with Ocean view. Plenty of space to cook and eat breakfast and fully equipped. Very close to Old town(only 2 mins walk) but hotel provides free and frequent bus service to Old town as the walking path has quite a few steep steps. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools were very well kept and so was Jacuzzi. A small corner shop right opposite the hotel. All in all, a fantastic place to stay. Only dislike is that the rooms are a bit dark, could do with improved lighting.
